Chapter 58 This is not a deal

In real life, if a woman makes an effort to search for information about you, this represents a very clear signal in the eyes of every man - it means that this woman is very interested in you.

When Elena clearly stated that she was divining things related to Zheng Qing, our young wizard was suddenly surrounded by a sudden and huge sense of happiness.

He didn't even care about the content of her divination.

If it wasn't for the sake of maintaining his image in front of Elena, Zheng Qing might have stood on tiptoes and twerked.

"What do you want to know? You can ask me?" He looked at the gypsy witch, his eyes sparkling, and his voice was extremely loud: "These clouds and mist are definitely not as clear as mine."

As he spoke, his fingers stirred in the cloud of smoke hovering in the air.

The bluish-white smoke flowed quickly and dissipated under his stirring.

"But," the witch looked a little surprised and touched: "What if you refuse!"

"It's completely impossible!" Zheng Qing denied Elena's concerns without thinking, and quickly replied: "You are so beautiful, how could anyone reject you?"

This compliment is just the right compliment.

The witch had a happy expression on her face.

"Then," Elena wrung her fingers and looked at him nervously: "I would like to ask you to accept me as your disciple."

"Didn't ask...what?" Zheng Qing's mind was a little stuck for a moment, his mouth opened ridiculously, and he tried hard to think about the meaning of Elena's words.

But it was obvious that he was a little distracted by the gypsy witch's unrestrained demands.

In his imagination, it would be perfect if Elena asked questions like "Do you have a girlfriend?"

If the witch was only interested in his inheritance and asked "Who is your teacher?", Zheng Qing would have expected such questions - he was even ready to betray Mr. Wu.

Even if the two of them were not familiar with each other, her request like "I want you to help me draw some talismans" was within Zheng Qing's bottom line.

And Elena's words obviously exceeded all his expectations.

His current expression could not be better described as being tongue-tied.

"I want to become your teacher," Elena straightened her expression and spoke again very seriously: "I hope you can teach me about talismans."

Zheng Qing closed his mouth and became silent.

Silence, silence.

There is no way to explode in silence.

He would rather die in silence.

However, the reality is so cruel, and despite being silent for a long time, he is still living well.

The girl opposite didn't flinch at all and looked at him firmly.

Zheng Qing plucked up the courage, looked up at Elena, and shook his head.

The witch sighed slightly and showed no surprise at this answer. She seemed to have expected that she would be rejected.

Zheng Qing blushed and felt very ashamed.

What you just vowed to promise will be denied by yourself in the blink of an eye.

There is nothing more embarrassing than this.

"It's understandable." Elena turned to look at the dissipating smoke, but she couldn't hide the disappointment on her face.

Zheng Qing was speechless.

Even if she asked him to draw hundreds of standard talismans for her, he would agree without hesitation.

Because he can make his own decision on this matter.

The consequences are nothing more than a few more pounds of sweat and less extracurricular life.

And becoming a disciple is not something you can agree to.

Although he does have some selfish motives - if he takes a witch as his apprentice, these selfish motives will become a dead end.

But more importantly, he hasn't started yet.

It was not up to him to decide whether to become a disciple.

For wizards who value inheritance and knowledge, the master-disciple relationship has always been the most intimate relationship besides blood.

Even though his time in contact with the wizarding world was limited, Zheng Qing already had a certain understanding of these common sense.

"My knowledge of talismans was all taught to me by my husband. Without my husband's permission, I cannot accept disciples at will." Zheng Qing lowered his head and explained in a voice that was close to a whisper: "Besides, my husband has not allowed me to become a disciple yet.

"

Elena said nothing.

The atmosphere between the two was a bit awkward.

"Although I can't accept you as my apprentice, I can tutor you in the talisman class." Zheng Qing suddenly raised his head and broke the silence between the two: "In exchange, you can also teach me ancient divination techniques."

Elena raised her head in surprise and looked at him.

Zheng Qing pursed his lips and nodded vigorously.

He didn't break the wizard's tradition - to be precise, he just changed Elena's wish into a deal.

However, for wizards who advocate equal exchange, the deal proposed by Zheng Qing is not that balanced.

The gypsy witch obviously noticed this.

She looked at the young wizard with some emotion, and then shook her head.

"This shouldn't be a deal." She said slowly in a hoarse voice: "Besides, this is not a good deal."

"This was not a deal in the first place." Zheng Qing smiled and looked at the witch in front of him.

Silence fell between the two people again.

Several elves screamed, rushed down from the ceiling, and landed on the smooth marble bar.

They dragged the huge bamboo basket and stumbled towards the multi-armed waiter.

"Xixi... Xixi..."

When they passed by Zheng Qing, Zheng Qing noticed some cigarettes scattered in one of the baskets.

His mind moved and he picked up one.

"Borrow a fire." Zheng Qing looked at the witch with a smile: "Maybe you can teach me some ancient divination techniques now."

Before Elena could speak, an elf next to her had already rushed over.

She waved her little hand, created a slender flame, and helped Zheng Qing light the cigarette in his hand.

Then, the little elf landed on his shoulder as if asking for credit, rubbed his earlobe, and kept barking.

Her friends stopped and looked enviously at their companion who rested on Zheng Qing's shoulders.

"They like you very much." The multi-armed waiter smiled and walked over: "If I'm not mistaken, you have received the blessing from the elves... This is a great gift for these pure but fragile lives.

.”

Zheng Qing grabbed the cigarette, turned his neck stiffly, and looked at these elves with a little guilt on his face.

"I didn't do it..." His voice was so low that the witch in front of him couldn't hear what he was saying.

Only the elf next to his ear seemed to feel the fluctuations in his heart. He touched his earlobe with his warm hands and patted it comfortingly.

"Xixi, Xixi..." The small comfort plucked his heartstrings, and Zheng Qing couldn't help but feel depressed.

"Don't disturb our guests." The multi-armed waiter put an arm on the bar and asked the elves to climb up: "You can go to the top of the cupboard and rest for a while."

After saying that, he smiled apologetically at Zheng Qing.
