Chapter three hundred and seventy second unexpected visitor

 Many wizards can fly.

Or use flying magic, or use flying broomsticks, magic carpets, or control flying swords, rare birds and exotic animals, etc., there are many types.

But just like walking can lead to falling and swimming can lead to drowning, flying also carries risks.

And the risk is greater.

In an annual accident investigation report issued by the Wizards' Union, it was mentioned that about every hundred wizards who try to fly will have various accidents when landing. Minor ones, such as sprained ankles and knocks.

Knees; moderate cases, such as the magic carpet catching fire or the beastman breaking his neck; severe cases, the wizard may hit his head on the ground and his brain fluid will flow out.

For every one hundred landing accidents, there will be about one or two "special landing persons", including but not limited to being hung by a belt in the treetops, such as accidentally killing a passing marmot when landing, or falling into a certain person.

In the chimney of the wizard's house.

For every one hundred 'special landings', there will be one or two 'miraculous survivors'.

For example, when hunter Harold Dillahunt of the Scarlet Hunters was hunting a raven demon, his broom malfunctioned and he fell into the lich's barbecue party, then miraculously managed to escape.

There is also the famous adventurer Fred Crusoe who used the flying spell to cross a canyon. His magic went out of control and he accidentally fell into a gap in space. Fortunately, there was a new world on the other side of the gap that had been developed by wizards, so he got away with it.

Find your way home.

Another example is a big blue fish with its head on the ground and smashed into a group of hungry monsters. The big fish was knocked unconscious and had stars on its head. The monsters gathered around it obediently and didn't even give a damn.

Dare to play it louder.

Zheng Qing felt that he was witnessing a miracle with a probability of one in a million.

He stood at the end of the estuary plain, looking at the big blue fish in the distance with its head stuck in the gravel and flapping its fins randomly; looking at the hundreds of demons around him who looked at him with salivating eyes, but with a shrinking attitude; looked at

Farther away, on the edge of the large pit created by the 'July Fire', stood a young black goat with its head held high.

"This is probably the 'miraculous survivor' mentioned in the book." The young public-funded student sighed sincerely.

"A miracle? It's not a miracle." A slightly familiar hoarse voice suddenly sounded in Zheng Qing's ears, startling the young wizard:

"There are special words to describe this situation in the wizard's dictionary, such as 'Ben Bazaar's concern' or 'Blind Fortuna'... Of course, I prefer a more straightforward description, such as 'Too bad luck'

'Such a statement."

"It's not unlucky at all," Zheng Qing denied, while following the voice: "On the contrary, I think this is a very lucky thing... Doing the wrong thing at the wrong time, in the wrong place,...

But he was not punished unexpectedly, isn't that something to be thankful for?"

While talking, he had already looked in all directions.

But as far as the eye can see, apart from the two sculpture-like old lichs and tiger demons behind them, there is only a dead tree with a crooked neck in the distance, and a few large round stones under the dead tree.

Zheng Qing did not find the source of the familiar voice.

Just when he was wondering, the slightly hoarse voice sounded again, but this time the voice came from the direction of his feet:

"Miracle and luck are originally twins. It would not be inconsistent to replace 'Miracle Survivor' with 'Lucky Survivor'... But this does not mean that it is not unlucky... You must know that only very unlucky guys will be together with

Miracles and luck deal with each other... A truly lucky wizard does not need the word 'lucky'."

This time, Zheng Qing finally caught the source of the sound.

He lowered his head and saw a fist-sized black cat with shiny fur squatting at his feet, yawning lazily, its ears flickering from side to side, as if it was driving away a group of transparent harassers.

The wizard looked at the cat carefully.

This cat has a pair of ruby-like eyes.

For a long time, until the cat finished speaking, raised its paws and licked its fur, the young wizard took a step back in shock: "You...why are you here?!"

As he spoke, he turned back and looked around, expecting to see a wizard in a green robe and a bun in a corner.

Although the cat has become smaller, its voice when talking, its licking movements, and especially its red eyes soon brought back Zheng Qing's memories.

It was his shadow that was cut off by Su Shijun and thrown into the laboratory, and finally broke the shackles of the two-dimensional world and returned to reality.

Because the shadow reflected the wizard's inner image, the shadow eventually turned into a cat.

In the school hunting competition last October, this cat helped Zheng Qing a lot, hunting down more than half of the demons on the field. Because it was too dangerous, the black cat was 'related' by the school as soon as the hunting competition ended.

The department took away the restraint - the person who took it away at that time was a wizard codenamed 'Forty-one', who wore a green robe and a bun.

Of course, now, Zheng Qing already knows that the reason why this cat was taken away by the 'relevant departments' is probably not only because it is an 'extra-dimensional creature' that has broken through the two-dimensional world, but also because it carries a trace of his own forbidden...

The breath of curse.

The relevant departments are most sensitive to the smell of forbidden curses.

"Uh... don't look around,"

The black cat took a deep breath in displeasure, expanded his size a few times, and his voice became a little thicker: "...I am the only one who came in... Huh."

Zheng Qing watched dumbly as the black cat grew bigger and bigger, and finally changed from the size of a fist to the shape of a familiar little black leopard.

After a long while, he hesitated and asked, "Some time ago, I seemed to have seen you in front of the office building."

"It's not strange," the black cat lay down again and swung its tail: "I am now also a regular employee of the 'relevant departments'. It is not strange at all to go out for business occasionally."

"Forty One only said that I would take you for safety training, but I didn't say that you would go work."

The wizard vaguely felt that he had suffered a loss - in theory, the money earned by his shadow should also belong to him; or, would the contract signed by his shadow affect him? The shadow was a staff member of the relevant department, so he

Does it count as a member of the relevant departments?

I feel like this is a very subtle philosophical topic.

The cold wind blowing in the dark prison blew away the last glowing mushroom in front of Zheng Qing, and also blew away Zheng Qing's somewhat erratic eyes. He realized that now was not the right time to discuss philosophical issues.

"They allowed you to come to the Black Prison?" Another layer of confusion emerged in the wizard's heart. He raised his eyebrows, glanced at the two 'sculptures' behind him, and asked very cautiously: "Yourself!... In this kind of situation

when?"

Before the black cat could answer, the wizard immediately thought of another more important question: "Do they know I'm in the Black Prison?!"
