Chapter 22 Lightning and Falling Talismans

The air in early summer is a bit warm, and the ancient locust trees and weeping willows on the roadside have sprouted greenery that has been brewing all winter, shrouding the small shops on both sides of the street.

The streets of Sijifang are paved with long blue boulders, which are smooth and clean.

In the past, there was a constant flow of tourists on the street. The naughty tree sperm often swung on the slender branches of the weeping willow, jumping from the top of one customer's head to another. Occasionally, some trinkets tossed with willow branches and locust leaves would fall down.

.

But now, all the tree sperm are hiding in their own tree holes and shivering, watching in horror as the tree trunks tremble with the sound of thunder and drums.

Under the trees, on the street.

The pig demon stepped on its four stubby fat hooves and ran wildly on the bluestone road, making a rapid clicking sound.

It's like rain hitting banana trees and pigs falling on jade plates.

The three characters that floated out from Thomas' Dharma Book before, along with his spell, turned into wisps of extremely fine breath, blending into the ocean-like air between heaven and earth.

The tree sperm hid themselves deeper in the tree hole.

They had a premonition that some terrifying aura was hovering.

Zheng Qing opened his eyes wide.

He felt the air was angry.

Every wisp and every breath exploded its own energy.

Anyone who breathes this air will feel numb all over.

Thomas stood in front of Zheng Qing and let out a breath of turbid air.

A low thunder rumbled.

The sound is dull and long.

It seems like it's far away in the sky.

He tilted his head and gave Zheng Qing a narrow smile.

"Cover your ears!" he shouted.

Zheng Qing opened his mouth, covered his ears, and wanted to say something.

But his voice was drowned out.

Thunder like exploding beans exploded in his ears, continuously, drowning out all noise.

The angry air seemed to have finally found a way to vent its anger, roaring and roaring unbridled.

The whole world was drowned in endless trembling.

Although his ears were blocked, Zheng Qing still felt like his whole body was buzzing.

He tried to open his eyes wide and saw the rolling thunder hitting the wild boar demon.

Explosion.

The wild boar demon, whose fangs had pierced the light barrier, howled miserably and rolled around.

Pieces of flesh and blood mixed with blood rolled off its body.

It left a cruel trace on the bluestone road.

The air is filled with the freshness of ozone and the aroma of barbecue.

But Zheng Qing only had the desire to vomit.

a long time.

Thunder pauses.

The air has also returned to its usual warmth and peace.

The tree sperm relaxed their curled up bodies in the tree hole, but they still didn't dare to go out.

Zheng Qing rubbed his face, opened his mouth, looked at the bloody pig demon not far away, and shouted to Thomas: "Are you dead?"

His ears were still ringing, and he didn't know what he was saying unless he shouted loudly.

Thomas also yelled at him: "It must have just fainted! You can't kill it with this level of massage."

"This level!" Zheng Qing shouted angrily: "This spell was just a few meters away from exploding on both of us! What kind of lunatics are there in Starry Sky Academy!"

"This is a personal attack! You will be deducted credits in school!" Thomas grinned.

Before entering the school, Zheng Qing had already deeply felt the bohemian style of doing things in Starry Sky Academy.

He is now very lucky that he did not enter the Starry Sky Academy's examination room in his dream.

A few hours ago, the serious and reliable image that Thomas worked so hard to create was completely ruined after this violent thunder.

"Would you like to go over and take a look?" Thomas asked.

"I have to wait for my meditation charm to fall down first!" Zheng Qing raised his head and stared blankly in the air.

Thunder was angry just now, and he was nervous for a moment and threw away the meditation charms he was holding in his hand.

Several of them turned into ashes in the furious thunder.

There were two others that were blown high by the air current and escaped disaster.

Now these two talismans are circling, preparing to land.

Zheng Qing decided to wait for them.

Ever since he found out that he was a poor wizard, he had started to plan carefully.

In Yun Xiangyi, he heard some students buying clothes mention that there was a flea market in the school where they could use talismans, potions, formation disks and other things to exchange for some experimental supplies.

This made his heart skip a beat.

I have a box of written talismans accumulated under my bed. Maybe I can exchange them for a lot of things if I flip them around!

He jumped up, grabbed a piece of floating talisman paper, and stuffed it into his gray bag.

Another talisman was affected by his beating airflow and floated farther away.

Zheng Qing took a breath, raised his head, stared at the talisman, and followed it.

Next to him, Thomas was holding a Dharma book in one hand and a quill in the other hand, writing furiously on the Dharma book.

He glanced at Zheng Qing and warned: "Don't run too far. We will go back after I finish copying this spell."

Zheng Qing agreed, followed the talisman and walked towards the center of the street.

There are still very few pedestrians on the street.

The elves wandering on the ancient locust trees and weeping willows are still hiding in the holes of their own trees.

The sound of kicking footsteps was particularly clear on the bluestone road.

Zheng Qing stopped.

The yellow talisman floated over the wild boar demon's bloody body.

Wounds as big as the mouth of a bowl were all over its body, the wounds were charred black, and a few tiny sparks of electricity spattered from time to time.

The three thick folds on its neck completely disappeared, revealing its ferocious tooth sockets and upper jaw.

The originally pale fangs were branded with dark marks, and the sharp tips of the teeth were broken by rolling thunder, revealing bloodshot stubble.

Zheng Qing carefully kicked its curled hooves.

The pig demon remained motionless.

He kicked its belly again.

A wave of flesh rippled.

The pig demon was still lying stiffly on the ground, eyes closed.

So he raised his head with confidence and looked for his talisman.

The atmosphere between heaven and earth has stabilized, and the powerless talisman has been floating in the air for a long time, and finally it is weak.

Zheng Qing happily watched it getting closer and closer to his hand.

Then he heard a heavy breathing.

A bad thought emerged from the bottom of my heart.

He held his breath, rolled his eyes, and looked down carefully.

A pair of small scarlet eyes.

Hunger, thirst, brutality, chaos.

Time seems to stand still at this moment.

At the street corner, Thomas had just finished copying a spell. He put away the book and looked up to find Zheng Qing.

There were no pedestrians on the street, it was empty and quiet. He could easily see Zheng Qing's figure.

At the same time, he also saw the ferocious pig head that the wild boar demon was slowly raising.

It was too late, Thomas looked at the two figures in despair.

His Dharma books never record weak spells.

And any of those powerful spells falling on Zheng Qing would mean death.

He seemed to see the principal roaring at him.

I saw some desperate and crying faces.

Then he saw a faint hint of yellow.

Zheng Qing held his breath.

Watching the yellow talisman swing lightly in the air, it landed on the nose of the panting wild boar demon.

The wild boar demon stared at the talisman with a pair of small scarlet eyes.

Slowly, the breath in its nostrils became more and more soothing.

Then he closed his eyes.

Snoring like thunder.

Zheng Qing breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the ground.
