Chapter 627 Basic Credits and Reward Credits

Credit is a very important concept for students in the first university.

But it is not difficult to obtain.

You will get basic credits if you pass the elective courses, you will get reward credits if you perform well in class, and you will also get reward credits if you act as a volunteer during school hunting competitions. You will also get reward credits if you hunt a team, and students trade privately, gambling, etc. It can be said that the First University gives every student a very sufficient way to obtain credits.

For example, Zheng Qing saved 33 credits in less than two months of enrollment in his freshman year, including classroom rewards - especially the most received talisman class - and the credits that Zheng Qing redeemed with Lao Yao when recruiting new students in the freshman year club. Then in the school hunting competition in October, Zheng Qing made another gamble, and in less than half a semester, he saved enough forty-eight credits.

All of these forty-eight credits are reward credits.

Under normal circumstances, a student can enter the next academic year safely by only obtaining about 110 credits in one academic year (including more than 50 basic credits and a considerable number of reward credits). Zheng Qing's speed of obtaining credits is almost twice that of ordinary students. In theory, it is not difficult to meet the conditions for early graduation.

But I am afraid that theory and practice will be serious in everything.

Because young wizards need to constantly use credits to exchange various materials required for magic experiments or pay credits to obtain magic skills other than books, coupled with the expenses in many laboratories, hunting grounds, libraries and other facilities in the school, as well as the additional "point deductions", the actual consumption of credits is extremely large, which often makes people find that their credits have already exceeded their expenses and are not enough to cope with the final assessment.

Once upon a time, Zheng Qing felt that it was too cost-effective to exchange a credit for a jade coin. Many times, he looked at the bright red numbers on his student cards and wanted to exchange them into handfuls of green jade coins.

But now, when he can earn 750 jade coins a month, he suddenly feels that credits are more precious. Even if he exchanges three jade coins for one (reward) credits according to market conditions, or even a higher exchange rate, he feels that he will not suffer any losses.

It’s just that jade coins exchange credits have always been in the seller’s market, and there is no market price.

"I still need to take an elective..." Zheng Qing's quill pen in his hand was randomly on the parchment paper that he had been writing and drawing for a long time, and the sound was elongated. He used a sentence for a long time but had no result.

Su Shijun hooked his finger impatiently.

The parchment paper under Zheng Qing's hand floated up like wings and fell straight into her hand.

There are 'basic credits' and 'reward credits' listed in categories by male witches.

The so-called basic credits are course credits obtained after passing the elective courses; for example, you can get three credits for passing the magic class every semester, and there are two in the history of magic, while more rare and niche subjects like Vampire Emblem, only one credit is available.

How many courses you take and how many basic credits you can get after passing the exam. Zheng Qing calculated this clearly. There are 27 credits for ten courses in the first semester of the freshman year, and the same is true for the next semester. If nothing unexpected happens in the first semester of the sophomore year, you can get 26 credits. The total of three semesters is 80 credits.

The reward credits are credits obtained through other channels besides basic credits.

It is mainly divided into three ways.

The first way is the rewards of the professors. For example, when the club recruits newcomers at the beginning of the first year of the freshman year, Lao Yao once promised to get one credit for every invitation letter, and Zheng Qing got ten credits that time; for example, Zheng Qing performed well in class, Zheng Qing often received rewards in talisman class, and he suspected that Teacher Zhang gave most of the credits she could allocate; for example, the rewards received in accidents - after Zheng Qing went to the Wanderer Bar for the first time to save Li Meng, Lao Yao rewarded everyone with five credits, two of which were given to him.

The second way is the school’s reward. For example, when a freshman, the school once issued a task of searching for sand worms, rewarding two credits; for example, when patrolling Linzhong Lake at night, the old man Verne once rewarded the patrolmen who caught fishermen on the shore; for example, when a school hunting meeting, he actively signed up to be a volunteer and took on the hunting meeting chores, and could also get the school’s reward credits.

The third approach can be summarized as other ways. Among them are private transactions between students, such as Zheng Qing’s gambling at the school hunting club, and the reward for assisting the owner of the Gini hut to complete the magic ceremony he unveiled in the bulletin board; there are also rewards from off-campus organizations or institutions, such as when the Black Tide in the Silent Forest broke out, the Beta Town Management Committee issued a credit reward given by the Assistant Defense Request, etc.

The numbers displayed on the student card are total credits.

Because there is no difference between the two credits when used in normal use - whether it is to exchange materials required for magic experiments, renting a school hunting ground to practice spells, or deducting school penalties.

But it's like jade coins and credits.

Basic credits can be used as reward credits, and various redemptions and deductions are carried out; reward credits cannot replace basic credits, making up for the lack of students' lack of a certain subject after failing to pass the assessment.

So Zheng Qing needs to recalculate it.

Because the 200 credits required for early graduation are the result of the total credits after the total credits are "deducted from penalties", and the remaining basic credits are eliminated after "extra points" and "reduction".

When the school deducts points for punishment, it will give priority to deduct reward credits. If the reward credits are insufficient, the basic credits will continue to be deducted until the credits are deducted to a negative number.

For Zheng Qing, his reward credits can completely cover the deductions - from off-campus fights at the beginning of the freshman year, to being deducted by Tesla professors in alchemy class, to deductions for deductions during conflicts in school hunting competitions, deductions for injuring Sepulano, deductions for leaving the team privately during the Forbidden Demon Festival, deductions for confusion caused by practical classes, etc. - Although it sounds like a lot, the actual total is less than fifty and is far from reaching the safety line of basic credits.

“…that is, you have eighty basic credits now, but you need two hundred credits to graduate early, and one hundred twenty basic credits, right.”

Su Shijun waved his pen and deleted the details of the "useless" reward credits on the parchment paper, leaving only the last few numbers. Then he looked up at Zheng Qing and reminded: "Don't waste these reward credits if you can't finish them. You can exchange various magical materials for the registration wizard's advancement ceremony to the school, or rent a school laboratory... You will only know that some things are not even bought with jade coins after leaving the school gate."

Zheng Qing nodded repeatedly, but focused on the 120 credit requirements that the witch had just mentioned.

"I haven't calculated the 'plus points' and 'reduced' yet." The young public-funded student couldn't wait to add.
