Chapter 279 Written Exam

The exam for the Charms class is divided into two parts, a written test and a practical test.

Different from the written examination, the practical part of the assessment inherently carries certain risks - including but not limited to loss of control of magic, loss of prey, etc. - therefore, this part of the practical examination is arranged after the written examination, that is, in the second

Ten weeks, in order to avoid as much as possible the impact of students' injuries on the written examination due to practical examination results.

Zheng Qing's written examination on Charms was arranged in Room 101, East of the Bishop Building.

Similar to him, the written examinations of Astronomy Class 08-1 and even the first-year students of Jiuyou College were all on the first floor of the main building. However, the students' seats were randomly disrupted, and there were only a few familiar faces in each examination room.

This invisibly made Zheng Qing feel less stressed.

After all, he now holds the title of 'Major Arcana Sequence - World', and wherever he goes he will be looked at with curiosity or questioning. Rather than dealing with endless questions from acquaintances, he would rather be stared at by strangers.

At least strangers, out of politeness or other reasons, would not come up to him and ask him if he was Lao Yao's illegitimate son.

Every time he thinks about this matter, Zheng Qing feels angry and frustrated - although he cannot be said to be a talented person, he is fair and clean, with fine features and beautiful eyes. How could anyone compare him to Old Yao?

Yellow, wrinkled walnut face associated with it?

It is simply the most ridiculous thing in the world!

There are sixteen seats in the examination room, four on each side and far apart.

There are three proctors, a black-robed teaching assistant, a black-robed researcher, and a gray-robed school administrator, all of whom have unfamiliar faces.

I heard from old students that a few years ago, the school once studied letting fourth-year old students serve as first-year proctors. However, in practice, it was found that fraud was very difficult to control, and this policy was finally canceled. This made Zheng Qing and others sigh with regret.

, lashing out at the unbridled behavior of his predecessors.

The three invigilators each perform their duties.

The school administrator in gray robe is responsible for verifying the identity of the candidates at the entrance of the examination room to prevent the occurrence of substitute examinations; the assistant teacher in black robe shuttles back and forth in the examination room, randomly checking the student card of each student, and throwing a detection magic on a certain candidate from time to time.

Make sure the entire examination room is clean. There are also black-robed researchers who sit behind the desk throughout the process, observing the candidates and supervising the other two examiners.

When there were still fifteen minutes left before the exam started, the invigilators urged the students to hand in all the textbooks, notebooks, law books and other things that had nothing to do with the exam.

Not even a timer is allowed.

The school will issue special examination paper, quill pens and erasers to students. There is also a half-meter-high huge clock on the desk in front of the examination room, which records the time quietly to ensure that it does not affect the candidates' time.

Under the premise, everyone can see the time clearly.

Five minutes before the exam started, the three invigilators supervised each other and took out the test papers with multiple seals on them.

Each invigilator has different methods of unblocking.

After getting the test paper and confirming that it was intact, the gray-robed school administrator first read out the rules of the examination room.

Then, under the command of the black-robed assistant teacher, sixteen test papers slowly rose from the desk and floated slowly down the stage, like white miniature magic carpets, floating to the desk and stopping.

It is positioned diagonally above and in front of the candidates, rising and falling leisurely in mid-air.

Zheng Qing took a deep breath, raised his eyelids, and stared closely at the examination paper in front of him. From the corner of his eye, he glanced at the hands between the discs of the clock on the desk.

The second hand beats one frame after another.

"The exam begins!"

On the podium, the researcher who was invigilating the exam gave a deep shout, and slapped the Dharma book in his hand on the podium, "Bang!"

Following the crisp sound, the test paper in front of Zheng Qing instantly lost its support and slowly fell downwards.

Zheng Qing naturally would not sit there stupidly and wait for the papers to fall freely - this is a point that many old students have mentioned. After the invigilator announces the start of the exam, the ownership of the test papers will be transferred from the examiner to the candidates. At this time, the candidates

Taking the initiative to contact the exam papers is completely in line with the requirements.

Time is short, words are long.

Zheng Qing stretched out his hand and grabbed the test paper tightly in his hand, pulled it to the table, and stepped forward to take a look——

‘Final examination of the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year, first year of university, Charms (Nine Volumes)’

'Precautions--'

'This test paper is divided into two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2, with a total of 15 pages. The first paper is compulsory questions (120 points), and the second paper is optional questions (30 points). The full score is 150 points, and the test time is 180

Minutes. Please use the uniformly equipped 057mm quill pen to answer the questions; it is strictly prohibited to bring brushes, quill pens and other pens of other specifications. Before answering the questions, please be sure to sign your real name on the homepage. After answering the questions, the invigilating assistant will collect the test papers.'

‘Please abide by the exam room rules set by the invigilator.’

Gee, it feels similar to the precautions for the exam in the dream, Zheng Qing muttered silently in his heart.

Turning to the second page, there were only four big bold words on the 24k blank paper——

‘No cheating’!

The young public-funded student curled his lips and turned to the third page.

Then he finally saw the first question in the Charms class——

'1. Please list at least two binding spells and write the exact formula (2 points); 2. Select one of the binding spells to explain in detail and analyze its working principle (3 points); 3. Describe one of the binding spells.

Taboos on the use of spells (1 point).'

A roaring silverback gorilla immediately appeared in Zheng Qing's mind, as well as a certain little witch who fainted gorgeously amidst the roar of the orangutan. With a curl of the corner of his mouth, the quill prepared for the examination room immediately jumped out of the ink bottle and began to write.

Swish, write in the blank space of the paper.

Just like the first question, most of the written exam questions in the spells class are normal. They are nothing more than the spells Zheng Qing learned this semester, as well as scraps related to the spells. Those contents have been emphasized by Lao Yao more than once.

Already.

The only thing that Zheng Qing was not sure about was the third major question in the second part.

The optional questions are all out-of-syllabus content. For example, the first optional question requires candidates to describe their status and effects when using the Yuan Chen Guardian Spell - this is very subjective.

The third major optional question is completely confusing.

That question required the examinee to explain what a ‘magic curse’ was—Zheng Qing felt that this question was like asking him to explain what a ‘foreign language’ was, which was too general and vague.

The more than two hours of exam passed in the blink of an eye.

After the invigilators sorted out the examination papers and left the examination room, before Zheng Qing had time to stand up, a large group of unfamiliar faces crowded around him.

"Classmate Zheng Qing, what did you write as the answer to question 25 of the first volume..."

"Zheng Qing, do you have enough time to answer the questions? I feel like I don't have time to write the second volume..."

"Brother Qing, Brother Qing, do you think the third question about the common scenes of Chaos Curse needs to be written about group duels..."

"What are you asking about the Chaos Curse? We should discuss the casting elements of the Yuan Chen Guardian Curse in the second volume."
