Chapter 2 The Drowned Arya

Erya's originally ferocious face was twisted in a strange expression, and she let out a piercing scream.

"You're just a demon, how dare you be so presumptuous!" My father shouted sharply and took the opportunity to stick the kneaded charm on her body.

Erya began to struggle painfully, stretching out her claws in an attempt to catch my father, but before she could, she turned into a wisp of smoke and disappeared.

There was just a puddle on the ground that was soaked in water, and there was still a hint of cold air.

I breathed a sigh of relief and crawled up from the ground behind my father. Before I could say anything, he slapped me hard on the head and said, "Damn it! I told you not to look back. You just heard what you said."

!”

"If I hadn't been worried and followed you, you would have gone to see the Lord of Hell!"

I still feel scared when I think about what happened just now, as if everything in the storybook I read when I was a child appeared before my eyes.

If I encounter that again, I will have to kneel down.

"Master, what's going on? Is there anyone in Uncle Zhang's house?"

My grandfather glared at me, made a charm, and recited a string of incantations, and then there was some light in the originally dark village. The bright moon hung high in the night sky, and I followed my grandfather home furtively.

"That was just an illusion. It scared you. Before I could kill you, I almost died when I hit the wall!"

I'm a little embarrassed to say this. After all, I am also an adult man who is 1.8 meters tall. Thinking about it just now, I almost wet my pants.

"Why don't you go to Uncle Zhang's house?" I asked.

"I originally asked you to come here just to let you hide away, but you are so fucking unsatisfactory. You were almost seduced by the ghost guy. Why are you going to do it after everything has been resolved?"

My father stared angrily, and I didn’t dare to ask any more questions. I followed him all the way to the lake near Shanzhu Village, and from a distance I saw several people gathered around, all with flashlights on.

"Don't you want to know why I asked you to go to Daling Village? Come with me."

I followed to the lakeside, passed through the crowd, and saw someone lying on the ground. She was wearing a white skirt, her whole body was soaked, and she was swollen and white. A black hair was wrapped around her face like algae, which scared me.

One jump.

"This is Erya!" I shouted.

It’s no wonder that I could recognize her at a glance. What happened just now caused too much of a shadow to me, an ignorant college student.

"Go to the river and have three cracks." My father ordered from behind.

Seeing that I didn't move, he raised his foot and kicked me twice at the knees.

I also plopped down on my knees, grinning with pain in my knees. Seeing that my father was not kidding, I honestly gave him three nods.

The villagers nearby were muttering, not knowing what they were talking about.

"Liu Laosan, what's going on?"

"It's so scary in the middle of the night."

My father’s name is Liu Laosan, and only he can solve this problem.

"Don't worry about this. Just go back to where you came from."

"You, pick her up." My grandfather ordered, and finally pointed at me.

I?

I looked around and it seemed like there was no one else around.

"Isn't it, Master?"

Are you crazy? You haven’t developed this business yet!

"If you don't pick her up, who do you expect?" My father said as he asked the others to leave. After a while, everyone was gone.

They even shouted, "Don't come back any of them!"

"Those who want the smoke to rise from their ancestral graves should stay here longer."

Sure enough, all of a sudden, everyone ran away.

When my father came back and saw me standing there in a daze, he immediately yelled and cursed me several times.

I had no choice but to pick up Erya who was on the ground, and muttered in my heart: Erya, every grievance has its owner, and every debt has its owner. If you can still hear me, please don't come to me.

I followed my father back home. I don’t know when there was an extra coffin in the main hall. It was placed safely, which was a bit cautious.

As the old saying goes, things last forever, and this is the first time in eighteen years that I have encountered such a bizarre thing.

After hearing what my father said, he put Erya into the coffin, closed the lid, burned three sticks of incense, and then sat on the chair next to him.

Seeing that I was hesitant to speak, my father snorted coldly, "You want to know why you do this? Right?"

I nodded quickly.

"These two girls died just for you!"

What?

"Master, don't talk nonsense!" I was so scared that I covered his mouth.

Erya is still lying inside. If you tell me, you can't kill me.

"It's useless if you don't want to admit it. When you were born, all animals were wiped out. It was a typical bad fate. Logically speaking, you should have died long ago. It was I who used this method to hang your life."

My grandfather's face darkened a bit, it seemed that this matter was a bit difficult.

"I didn't expect that Erya's life would be taken this time."

When I was a kid, I heard my grandfather talk about this a little bit, but I didn’t understand what exactly happened.

If I had listened to this before tonight, I could still have listened to it as a story, but I almost lost my life tonight and I simply couldn’t believe what my father said.

"Then why are you looking for Erya?"

"You two played together when you were children. She has a strong negative temperament, so she was naturally targeted." My father looked at me with a somewhat complicated look in his eyes.

"If you haven't been here these two years, those things can only use her to threaten us."

I felt a chill in my heart as I heard a gust of cold wind blowing outside, blowing open the wooden door outside with a creaking sound.

"But you don't have to be afraid. As long as I'm here, I won't find you in a short time."

My grandfather stared at the coffin in a daze, holding a talisman in his hand.

"Now Erya's ghost is gone. We will send her home tomorrow, and you can go to another place with me."

"Don't sleep tonight, I'm worried there will be something strange."

I nodded repeatedly, who would dare to sleep if he wanted to die?

When I close my eyes now, what I think of is Erya's ferocious face, which can scare him awake even if he falls asleep.

"Then how come these two girls found me?"

Later, I heard from my father that after the girl turned into a ghost, she knew that she had lost her life for me. My father was worried, so he asked me to hold an umbrella and catch chickens and go to Daling Village to hide away.

As long as he didn't look back when he heard the sound in the middle of the night, he was worried that I would be disobedient and kept that chicken to pay for my life.

"Okay, okay, I've talked to you too much and you don't understand. If you have nothing to do, just go to bed. You won't have time to rest tomorrow."

I shook my head and huddled aside and dozed off all night. Finally, it was daytime and dawn.

"Liu Laosan!"

I was awakened by Uncle Zhang's voice and saw several strong men from Daling Village outside.

Uncle Zhang is also the guardian of Daling Village, and he has a very good relationship with me.

He glanced at me secretly when he came in, and after listening to what my father said about last night, he opened the coffin lid, took a look, and sighed heavily.

"Hey, his family will be heartbroken now."

"I have no choice but to choose their house. Please help me explain this matter to avoid any misunderstandings."

"Don't worry, I will definitely not say anything about this, just..."

I looked at the two old men in front of me and muttered inexplicably, but Uncle Zhang didn't say much and let the strong men carry the coffin and left.

My grandfather waited until everyone had left before he came back, looked at me and said, "Damn old man, come with me!"
