Chapter 162: Tathagata Sighs Three Times

The golden bowl was knocked away by the huge black waves, kept spinning, and finally fell into the long river of time.

The golden bowl floated downstream with the water of the long river.

I don't know how long it took, but a small golden body came out of the golden bowl. After looking around, he found no danger, and then returned to the golden bowl.

After a while, Tathagata walked out of the golden bowl and said, "It's safe."

Only then did Sakyamuni come out of the golden bowl and pronounce the Buddha's name.

He seemed to have a calm expression, but deep inside, he was still horrified.

Tathagata took the golden bowl back into his hand and saw numerous cracks appearing on the golden bowl, and finally there was some expression on the face that had not changed for thousands of years.

There is pity and a touch of fear.

That black wave, crossing the entire river of time, is really terrifying.

Shakyamuni Buddha put his hands together and saluted Tathagata, "Thank you, senior brother."

If it were not for Tathagata's golden bowl, he would definitely be swept up in the black waves and narrowly escape death.

The Tathagata did not respond, but simply put the broken golden bowl into his sleeves, clasped his hands together, and the majestic golden Buddha light bloomed, dyeing it with a layer of pale gold over the course of thousands of years.

The surrounding gods hurriedly averted their prying eyes.

This place is already on the lower reaches of the long river of time, and only weak gods will linger here.

Tathagata looked forward, remained silent for a long time, and sighed leisurely, "This retreat is actually a hundred and eighty thousand years."

Sakyamuni also sighed and said with lingering fear: "I don't know which ancient god could have such power."

Tathagata thought for a while and said: "The world of the Netherworld can be traced back to the prehistoric era. Those who can enter the upper reaches of the long river of time can only be the great powers of the prehistoric era."

Sakyamuni sighed again, "In that case, what are your plans, senior brother?"

For them, the great power of the ancient times was a powerful existence that they could not disobey.

Tathagata did not speak, only responded with actions.

He took a step and walked forward.

One step at a time, going against the current.

After another hundred and eight thousand steps, you can return to the starting point.

However, every time he takes a step, a "卍" character is washed away and swallowed up by the water of time.

Each "卍" character represents one year of cultivation.

Tathagata's steps are difficult but firm.

He looked forward to returning to the time when he was knocked away, opening up tributaries, and allowing the Kyushu Buddhist Kingdom to continue for another hundred and eight thousand years.

No, he wants more.

At least... it cannot fall under the tributary of time in the netherworld.

"well."

The Tathagata sighed for the third time.

Even though he is the Tathagata Buddha, he has developed a competitive spirit.

Sakyamuni next to him was silent for a moment, and the Buddha's heart became determined, "I'll just walk again."

He followed Tathagata, walked against time for a while, and asked: "Brother, do you know why that tributary suddenly opened?"

Tathagata said: "There should be someone from Kyushu who wants to revive the underworld and force it to continue."

"The water of the River of Time can make the plane continue. In turn, the existence of a plane world will also be reflected in the River of Time."

Sakyamuni Buddha was surprised. The Buddha's heart, which had finally calmed down, was trembling again. "Is it possible to be a powerful person in the prehistoric era who can forcibly continue a realm?"

Tathagata did not answer directly, but said: "It is not a good thing that Tianzhu is ready to make moves against Kyushu."

Sakyamuni was slightly startled, knowing that the other party was warning him, but he could only shake his head and sigh: "I haven't opened a tributary yet, so my will can't be transmitted to Tianzhu, and I can't control those Buddha's descendants, let alone those who believe in Buddhism in Tianzhu."

There are only a very small number of people.”

There was a flash of helplessness in his eyes.

In the world of Tianzhu, there is a god named Vishnu. Tianzhu people believe that Vishnu has ten incarnations, and the eighth incarnation is Buddha. Therefore, when Tianzhu people go to a Buddhist temple and see a Buddha statue, they will think that it is the incarnation of Vishnu.

, naturally no longer believe in Buddha.

For a long time, the Buddhist sect in Tianzhu was about to be destroyed.

As the founding god of the Indian Buddhist sect, Sakyamuni was almost completely robbed of the incense and merits of his followers by Vishnu, so that for thousands of years, his spiritual power was still at the same level.

Now that he has come to the river of time, he can only follow Tathagata and let this senior brother block most of the impact of the water of time.

Thinking of this, Sakyamuni sighed again, "Actually, I envy Yin Tianzi very much."

Tathagata turned to look at him.

Sakyamuni said, "If you don't allow yourself to dig tributaries, his underworld will be able to revive, and he will just sit back and enjoy the results."

The Tathagata remained silent.

Sakyamuni hesitated for a long time, and finally said, "If there is a person with great supernatural powers in Kyushu who can forcibly open the underworld, if I ask him, will he be willing to help me open the Buddhist Kingdom of Tianzhu?"

Tathagata remained silent.

Sakyamuni smiled bitterly, "Senior brother, do you look down on me as your junior brother?"

He shook his head, "For thousands of years, the followers and merits that should have belonged to me have been taken away by Vishnu. Even my spiritual power has been eaten away by him day and night. Without the help of my senior brother, I would be here."

In the long river of time, it is difficult to move even an inch."

Sakyamuni turned around and looked at another god that had fallen in the river of time not far away, and remained silent for a long time.

I remember when I first stepped into the river of time, the water of time here was so deep that I couldn't even see the bottom.

But now, in just the past few thousand years, the water level of the Time River has dropped so much that the lower reaches are almost drying up.

Many of the surrounding tributaries have no water of time flowing in, leaving only dry riverbeds.

Without the Water of Time, there would be no time. The planes created by these gods would be destroyed, leading to the death of countless believers and living beings.

The gods who originally guarded the tributaries could only return to the long river of time and swim upstream again, looking for deep water, opening up new tributaries, and opening up new dimensions.

To go upstream is to go back in time. Even if they are powerful gods in the eyes of mortals, they will have to pay a huge price.

Countless gods have fallen in the long river of time, their bodies have been washed away and corroded, their divinity has been stripped away, and their divine power has disappeared.

The newly dead god immediately attracted dozens of gods. They rushed over to divide the divine power and snatch the godhead.

In Sakyamuni's eyes, the dismembered god gradually turned into his own image.

Great fear arose in his heart, and his body, Buddha's mind, and even his godhead were trembling.

At this moment, a stream of pure Buddha power poured into his body, calming his fear.

Tathagata took back his right hand from Sakyamuni's shoulder and looked forward, "You and I are from the same sect."

People of the same origin and origin will naturally take care of each other.

However, Shakyamuni calmed down again and shook his head, "I'm too weak."

"Even if I could go back to the middle reaches of the long river of time, or even go upstream and open a tributary, I still wouldn't be able to hold on."

God is ruthless, so the world of God is far more bloody and cruel than the mortal world.

Sakyamuni stopped, put his hands together, and bowed deeply to the Tathagata.

This is a thank you and a farewell.

Tathagata was stunned for a moment, and understood what the other party meant. He did not stop the persuasion, but just said: "Junior brother, take care of it."

After saying this, he stepped forward.

This time, without Sakyamuni's involvement, Tathagata moved forward much faster than before.

Shakyamuni turned around.

It goes against the Tathagata.

He followed the long river of time and used his magical powers to find the time entrance to the world of Kyushu in only three days.

Sakyamuni stood at the entrance for three days, and finally made up his mind and stepped inside.

The northern border of Kyushu, in front of the sixth line of defense.

On a long front stretching tens of thousands of kilometers, 10 million Kyushu warriors were waiting for that order.
