Chapter 23 Doubt

The infantry commander put two fingers of his right hand into his mouth, puffed up his cheeks and blew hard, and the crisp whistle resounded through the jungle.

Not long after the whistle was blown, a carrier pigeon heard the sound and came over. It was a black carrier pigeon with a little bit of red in its black feathers. It looked more like a crow than a carrier pigeon.

The homing pigeon flapped its wings and landed gently on the right arm of the infantry commander.

The infantry commander gently stroked the feathers on the pigeon's body with his left hand, smoothing out the blown feathers one by one. He then took out a handful of corn from his breastplate, handed it to the pigeon's mouth, and fed it carefully.

After the pigeon finished the sumptuous meal, the infantry commander stuffed the creed into the mailbox on the pigeon's leg.

"Good boy, go ahead!" The infantry commander waved his right arm lightly, and the carrier pigeon spread its wings and flew out.

The infantry commander watched the carrier pigeon fly out of sight, untied the reins, and mounted his horse.

"Let's go! You guys, work with me to catch them all!"

After that, two thousand men and horses rushed towards Sandaokou in a mighty manner.

Deep in the jungle.

The three of them galloped through the jungle.

"The Quejiang Pass is ahead," Lin Heng explained, pointing ahead.

"How do we pass the test?" Xu Hao looked at the position of Lin Heng's finger and asked.

"There are about three thousand garrison troops in Quejiang Pass. It is impossible to break through forcefully." Lin Heng kept rubbing his temples and thinking.

"There are only three thousand people. What are you afraid of? I can just fight my way out of the pass alone." Sun Biao held a cigarette in his mouth with a look of disdain, as if he didn't know what the two of them were afraid of.

"I have a method, but it will consume all my Kun Qi." Lin Heng looked forward. This was the only way he could think of to pass the level.

"What method?" Xu Hao asked curiously.

"Fly over!" Lin Heng said firmly.

"Fly over?!" Lin Heng and Sun Biao said in unison. The muscles on their eyebrows were about to rise to the sky. There was confusion between their eyebrows.

"Yes, fly over." Lin Heng's voice was still firm.

"I'm young, don't lie to me!" Sun Biao said jokingly.

"We don't have wings, how can we fly there?" Xu Hao wondered.

"You'll know when you get there."

"But after we successfully pass the test, I may not have the strength to continue to protect you." Lin Heng looked at Xu Hao.

"How is His Highness's injury recovering?" Lin Heng continued to ask.

"It's nothing serious. The medicine is working well and the wound has almost healed. He can take over for you when you pass the test smoothly," Xu Hao explained.

"That's good." When Lin Heng heard the news of His Highness's recovery, he breathed out slowly, and the muscles on his face gradually relaxed.

Having said that, the frequency of the riding whips in the hands of the three people increased a bit.

Although it is late summer and early autumn, the sun in the sky does not have the gentle temperament of early autumn. The scorching sun is still like fire, shining on the whole forest and turning it purple.

Time passed like running water, and the sun had finished the busy day. Without the passion at noon, he packed his things and turned his back to the mountains, preparing to give the last bit of light before leaving.

Inside Quejiang Pass.

Gugugu... Gugugu... Gugugu...

A black homing pigeon stood at the top of the city. Its cry seemed to be asking for today's reward. A stinger came slowly with a handful of corn, feeding it while taking out the note from the mailbox.

"Report!" The stinger with the creed in his hand shouted as he ran towards the tower.

A burly stinger carrying a moon-cutting knife was sitting on a luxurious stone carving chair, drinking heavily from a head-sized wine glass in his hand.

"General, the commander of the infantry at the headquarters is reporting urgently!"

"read."

"The guards at Quejiang Pass quickly gathered the soldiers from the three passes in front of the Quejiang Bridge, cut off the bridge, and ambush here, killing everyone who passes by!"

Upon hearing this news, the garrison general couldn't help laughing.

"That's great! I'm going to kill you with all my heart! Come here! Give me the order! Order people to go down to Jiangguan and go up to Jiangguan to quickly assemble in front of the Quejiang Bridge!"

"yes!"

The two groups of stingers divided into two groups and rushed to the two passes to gather their forces.

After the wine in the wine glass was drained, the garrison general slowly walked down the tower with the Yanyue Sword in hand.

"The rest of the people follow me!" the garrison general shouted.

"Yes!" All the soldiers said in unison.

Thousands of men and horses, armed with hand-held weapons, rushed toward the Quejiang Bridge, kicking up dust wherever they went.

The mighty stinging army did not seem to affect the tranquility of the jungle.

Xu Hao closed his eyes tightly and frowned as if he felt something.

"Sun Biao, do you feel it?" Xu Hao asked.

"It's that grandson again." Sun Biao nodded in response.

"Lin Heng, how many miles are we from Quejiang Pass?" Xu Hao looked at Lin Heng complicatedly and asked.

"About five miles." Lin Heng responded.

"The injury healed so quickly, then my grandson's recovery ability is really fast." Sun Biao murmured while smoking.

"Who?" Lin Heng looked surprised, but it looked unnatural on his face.

Xu Hao observed Lin Heng carefully, and after a while he slowly said, "Class B sting."

Before Lin Heng could answer, Sun Biao said, "You two wait for me for a while. It only takes a cigarette for him to go back to where he came from!"

"Wait a minute." Xu Hao persuaded Sun Biao, then looked at Lin Heng and murmured.

"Lin Heng, your chance for revenge has come, how about it? Do you want to show him your true strength?"

Lin Heng's expression suddenly froze, and he opened his mouth to say something, but he took it back when he reached his mouth.

Xu Hao observed Lin Heng's expression and said again, "Are you nervous? Do you want to make it easier?"

The connection between cause and effect formed a thread, which made Xu Hao have to think deeply. This Class B stinger actually knew their escape route.

Only Lin Heng knew about this route. Although Sun Biao and Lin Heng knew each other, Lin Heng's sudden joining was indeed a bit suspicious. There was also Lin Heng's attitude towards Ye Lan, and the country of Yun had been occupied for fifteen years, and Ye

Lan came back after the fall of Heyun Kingdom. Which loyal minister would be unconditionally loyal to a prince who had just returned?

Xu Hao kept thinking in his mind that a fifteen-year-old boy's mind had reached such a terrifying level.

He knew that Lin Heng's identity was definitely not as simple as a beggar. Since Lin Heng knew that the soldiers who escaped after the Renjiu coup were all living in Sanjiekou, why didn't he escape to Sanjiekou instead of staying in Fanhuadu as a beggar?

beggar?

Lin Heng interrupted Xu Hao's contemplation, "If I hold him back, how will you pass the test?"

"It won't be too late for us to pass the test after you deal with him!" Xu Hao said every word, his tone mixed with suspicion and a little anger.

"What's going on between you two? Why is there something wrong in your words?" Sun Biao was confused as he listened to the conversation between the two.

"It's nothing, it's just that some people are worried that we won't be able to pass the test." Xu Hao continued to say something secretly, secretly.

"Oh, I seem to understand. Do you think Lin Heng is a traitor? If you have something to say, just say it. Why are you talking about birdsong that I can't understand?" Sun Biao smoked a cigarette and slowly savored the two of them.

dialogue.

"I'm afraid if I tell you directly, someone will separate my body right now." Xu Hao said in a strange tone.

"Xu Hao, I understand what you are thinking. It can be said that it is a coincidence that I met His Highness, but it is not a coincidence. Lao Sun, you said that you caught His Highness at the beach, right?" Lin Heng's face

There was no look of embarrassment or fear, but a strong calmness.

"That's right." Sun Biao responded.

Xu Hao remained silent, still observing Lin Heng.

"Are you not sure this is a coincidence?" Lin Heng continued to ask.

"Yes, I can't say it's a coincidence. It seems to be my fate."

"Did you receive any token to allow you to fish at the beach?" Lin Heng asked.

Sun Biao did not answer in a hurry, but thought carefully in his mind, and a note appeared in his mind.
