A New Year's letter to book friends

The new year is approaching, so I wish you all a Happy New Year in advance, and thank you all for supporting me and this book throughout 2022.

This chapter is a welfare activity of Qidian. It is said that if you comment and interact in the next Easter egg chapter, you can draw some coins or something, up to 6666, you can try it.

Let me also take advantage of this event to tell you about me and this book in 2022.

The initial order for this book was 500, and I wrote it bit by bit until it reached the peak of 3,000. The current average is 2,500. It is my best book so far. It is much better than the previous book. The symbolic meaning is not small. It has a kind of

The feeling of "hard work really pays off" made me very happy this year.

Of course, this is mainly due to the readers, thank you very much.

Now that I'm writing a book, I feel more and more that "positive feedback" is a very important thing. When someone comments on a chapter I send out, whether it's a well-intentioned suggestion or a malicious and unwarranted criticism, it actually has a negative impact on the author.

It has had a great influence on the creations.

Whether it is changes to the original plot or adjustments to subsequent plots, it will have an impact.

Of course, this impact can be good or bad.

Some people read the reviews and changed the plot, and the more they changed, the better it got, and readers liked it more and more. There were also friends who were not very lucky and changed the plot after reading the reviews, and the whole book collapsed.

But I personally think that if I can go from 500 subscriptions to an average subscription increase of five times, I should be considered to have received a "good" influence from the comments.

And I can also say that I actually did not make any major adjustments to the overall plot direction of the book because of the comments of individual readers and friends.

I read the comments and found that what was changed were the details of the book, minor adjustments to the plot, and the overall direction of the book. Up to now, and it is about to be completed, it is following the original outline before the book was started.

During the serialization of this book, apart from the content, what surprised me the most was, of course, the first "lead" reward in my career as a writer, from a brother nicknamed "Red Dust Hantian Wu".

That night, when I saw the background prompt popping up on my phone, I was really excited and flattered.

If you like it, you will reward it.

I am very happy that the story I wrote is so loved by this friend.

Of course, in addition to the alliance leaders, the subscription support from readers, as well as the support of one hundred and two hundred coins, is also an encouragement to me. Thank you all for your continued support.

It is precisely because of this "leader" that I created the first reader group of this book.

It's funny, at the time I thought this reward was to prompt updates, so I quickly pulled out the saved manuscript and added 10,000 words of updates.

Then I discovered that it was not a reminder to update, but a reminder to create a group, and then I finally created a group.

As for the fact that I, as an author, am not active in the group, I can only ask for your understanding. Due to personality issues, I am really not good at interacting with everyone. I have been like this since I was a child. I will probably only be able to do this in my life.

That’s it.

The readership is a good thing, but unfortunately I am not very good at interacting with everyone.

I still remember that I was a "sheep" before, and I mentioned it at the end of the chapter, and then a reader friend commented on me in the group that day to express concern about my health.

It may sound a bit pretentious, but I really felt... different at the time. To put it more pretentiously, I was very touched.

At least for me, this is an unprecedented experience.

It was then that I discovered that the distance between the author and the reader was not that far away.

Thank you all, thank you to every reader who reads this book.

Finally, the New Year is coming. I would like to wish you all good health and all the best in the new year.

For those of you who are in school, I wish your grades will get better and better.

To those who are at work, I wish you success in your work and promotion.

If you are looking for a partner, I also wish you can find a beloved one and live a happy life!

Bye-Bye.
