Thirty-nine, a small test

Minghe hated those little Japs taking advantage of the defenseless villagers. As soon as Minghe and Murong left the team, Minghe said to Murong: "Murong, the smoke over there is still thick. I think the Japs are burning the village again.

I hate this the most. Grandma, the little devils are not fucking human beings. How about we go over and beat up these stupid people?"

"I think it's okay, we have to hurry up." Murong said.

"Okay, look, the thick smoke is rising from the east of that hilltop. Let's go to that hilltop. Your sniper rifle should be able to reach the Japanese." Minghe pointed to the hilltop in the distance and said.

"Just do it, let's go!" Murong said, holding the sniper rifle and running towards the top of the mountain.

Minghe was worried that Murong would suddenly encounter Japanese soldiers in front of him, so he ran a few steps quickly to catch up with Murong. As he ran, he said, "Follow me. If you keep up, don't fall behind."

The two of them ran wildly, shuttling through the mountains and forests, and arrived at the top of the mountain in ten minutes.

Minghe saw that the thick smoke had gradually faded away, and turned to Murong behind him and said, "Isn't that little devil running away?"

"It doesn't matter." Murong looked at the sky and said, "It's almost dark. The Japs are not good at night fighting. They will probably camp near here. Let's go up to the top of the mountain to have a look first, and then we will find an opportunity to get close to the Japs."

"Well, let's go!" Minghe felt that Murong's words made sense, so he turned around and climbed up the mountain.

Murong followed closely, and after a few more minutes, the two of them had climbed to the top of the mountain.

Minghe stood on the top of the mountain and looked down. There was a narrow mountain road below, and a group of Japanese soldiers were marching on the mountain road.

"There are Japs!" Minghe whispered to Murong, and then he lay down in the grass on the top of the mountain.

Murong heard Minghe say there were Japs, so he ran up excitedly, lay down next to Minghe, picked up the sniper rifle, and adjusted the sniper scope.

"You idiot, look, this isn't a fight, it's just a bunch of fucking bandits." Ming He pointed at the chickens and ducks on the bayonets of the Japanese soldiers and said.

Murong did not speak, but concentrated on observing the group of Japs through the sniper scope, looking for the target to snipe.

"How's it going? Did you find a Japanese official?" Ming He tilted his head and asked Murong.

Murong ignored him. Murong discovered that what he saw from this position was the tail of the Japs team. Usually the Japs officers walked in front, so it seemed they had to change positions.

Murong put away his sniper rifle and said, "Let's go!"

Minghe stood up and followed Murong, and the two of them moved quietly on the top of the mountain while leaning forward.

At this moment, there was only a "boom" sound. Minghe and Murong fell down on the spot. When they looked up, they saw a Japs covering their faces and shouting. The other Japs nervously raised their rifles and were looking for someone to open the door.

Gun man.

"Who hit him?" Minghe whispered to Murong.

"It's a gun used by people in the mountains to kill rabbits," Murong said.

"The militiamen beat me?" Ming He said.

"Look, there's a person over there." Murong held the sniper rifle and looked through the sniper scope.

"It's just one person." Ming He also saw it.

"It's a fellow villager who is moving quietly," Murong said.

"This can't be done. We're too close to the Japs. I'm afraid..." Before Ming He could finish his words, he heard the Japs shouting, and then saw the Japs shooting at the fellow. More than a dozen rifles were fired at the fellow.

The fellow was beaten so hard that he couldn't even lift his head. At the same time, seven or eight Japanese took advantage of the cover and charged towards the fellow.

At this distance, Murong's sniper rifle could easily kill the Japanese soldiers, but Murong held the sniper rifle and kept aiming, but did not fire.

"Murong, what are you doing? Shoot." Minghe lowered his voice and said to Murong.

"They are all Japanese soldiers, I didn't see any officials." Murong said while taking a look.

"Oh, if you don't shoot, the Japanese will rush in front of the fellow villagers." Minghe said eagerly.

"We were exposed as soon as the shots were fired," Murong said.

There was a loud "bang" sound, and the three Japs were hit by the fellow's guns. The three Japs fell to the ground, but they were only injured and not dead.

Just when the fellow stood up and fired, several Japs had already shot at the fellow at the same time. The fellow was hit by several bullets in his chest. Although the fellow stood hard and looked very tenacious, the gun in his hand was shot once.

Gunpowder can only make one shot, and the fellow who was hit by several bullets now has no more gunpowder to use.

Several other Japanese soldiers saw that the Chinese man was still alive after being shot, so they swarmed up and rushed forward. The fellow dropped the gun, stood up hard, reached into his waist to pull out the hatchet, but the hatchet hadn't been drawn out yet.

The bayonets of several Japanese soldiers have been thrust into the stomach and chest of the stubborn fellow.

The fellow grabbed the Japs' bayonets with his hands, lowered his head, and stared at the Japs with angry eyes. He wanted to curse, but his mouth was full of blood and he couldn't make a sound.

Murong saw all this clearly through the sniper scope, but Murong never fired.

Minghe looked so angry that his veins popped out, and he kicked Murong to the ground who was holding a sniper rifle, and said: "I have a sniper and I ask you to shoot, why don't you shoot? You just have the heart to watch.

A fellow countryman was stabbed to death by Japanese soldiers?"

Without saying a word, Murong quickly got up and took aim at the Japanese with his sniper rifle.

"Take a look, take a look, just take a look like this and you can kill the Japanese. If you don't shoot, I will go." Ming He said, unbolting the gun and rushing down the mountain.

Murong grabbed the whooping crane and said: "Platoon Commander Deng, you are cooperating with the sniper in the battle. Please stay calm." After Murong said that, he picked up the sniper rifle again and aimed at the Japanese without moving.

Minghe saw that Murong was being beaten and did not say anything or fight back. He felt that he was a little unjust. Now that he heard Murong say this, he felt that he had gone too far. He said "Oh!" and lay down next to Murong, only to find a Japanese soldier riding on him.

The foreign horse came running over.

"Murong, do you think that's a Japanese officer?" Minghe couldn't help but ask.

Murong ignored the platoon leader, but aimed seriously at the Japs on horseback. From the sniper scope, Murong could clearly see that it was a Japs Major who was coming. In fact, it was not that Murong didn’t want to save the fellow, it was just that the fellow came within a short distance.

The Japanese were too close, and secondly, they were too impulsive. If the fellow didn't stand up and fire again, he still had a chance to save him. At the same time, Murong knew that if the army was attacked, the Japanese officers would definitely come over. Murong and others

The best thing to do is to snipe and kill the officer first, and then shoot the Japanese soldiers according to the situation. Alas, things don't always develop as you want.

The Japanese Major ran over, got off his horse, looked at the wounded soldiers, then walked over to the corpse of the fellow soldier, looked at it, and kicked it with his feet in disgust.

There was a gunshot, and just as the Japanese major raised his feet, he was shot in the forehead. The Japanese major fell to the ground with a loud "bang" and died.

"Hit, hit!" Whooping Crane shouted excitedly in a low voice.

"Bang bang bang", "ta da da", in an instant, the Japanese rifles and machine guns were shooting at this place. Murong and Minghe lowered their heads and lay on the ground.

"Platoon leader, it's time for us to change positions." Murong looked at the crane and said.

"Okay, let's go!" Ming He held the gun, rolled over, and ran forward in small steps. Murong followed Ming He, holding the sniper rifle, to find a new gathering point.
