190. All people are soldiers

Seeing the brothers' high morale, Yuesong began to issue the order to set off for the expedition: "The destination of our march today is Longling. The team is divided into three groups. Sun Renxian and I will lead one group to take the lead, and Yingzi will lead one group to form the middle army.

Biaozi leads a group as defenders, Brother Chao and Douzi are responsible for remote vigilance, let’s go!”

"yes."

"Wang Hong, Hu Jun, Dong Yaozi, and the grassroots came out." Sun Renxian ordered the generals first.

"yes."

"Dong Yazi is the vanguard, and the others support each other to ensure the safety of the advance and set off."

"yes."

Seeing Dong Yazi set off, with Cao Gen'er and the others following closely behind, Ren first said to Yuesong: "Captain, let's go."

"Yeah." Yuesong agreed, took out the mirror box, and set off with Renxian.

When the team entered the jungle outside Mangshi, Yuesong saw the Longchuan River. On a hillside beside the Longchuan River, Yuesong found a geomantic treasure for Xizi. It was under a century-old nanmu tree. Together, the brothers

Xizi was buried and a simple but solemn funeral was held.

After the funeral, the enemy continued to advance in three groups. After more than five hours of marching, they finally arrived at the outskirts of Longling.

Just as the brothers dispersed to rest in the woods, Biaozi came over with a middle-aged man in plain clothes with two mirror boxes on his belt.

Yingzi saw the stranger coming from a distance, and came over to find out what was going on.

"Yue Song, let me introduce to you Captain Zhu Tao of the Longling County Brigade." Biaozi said.

Yuesong stretched out his hand to hold Captain Zhu's hand tightly and said, "For the reconnaissance team's mission, we need to rely more on Captain Zhu's help."

"This is Comrade Luo Yuesong, the famous captain of the special operations team of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army." Biaozi continued to introduce.

"I've heard the name for so long, it's like thunder to my ears." Captain Zhu said politely.

Biaozi watched Yingzi walking towards this side and whispered to Captain Zhu: "The one coming right away is Lieutenant Colonel Yang Ying, a member of the military command."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yingzi came over, and Biaozi immediately introduced loudly: "This is Lieutenant Colonel Luo Yuesong, captain of the direct reconnaissance team of the 20th Group Army of the Chinese Expeditionary Force."

"I've been waiting for you to come for a long time. Oh my, it's better now. It seems that the day when the army will come back is not far away. Welcome, warm welcome." Captain Zhu also raised his voice and said polite words.

"Yingzi is here, just in time. I also introduced him. This is Captain Zhu Tao of the Longling Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Force." Biaozi said to Yingzi.

"Anti-Japanese guerrillas, thank you for your hard work." Yang Ying indeed spoke in an official tone.

"It's not hard, it's not hard." Zhu Tao replied.

"Lieutenant Colonel Yang Ying, who has rich experience in espionage operations against the Japanese invaders and has outstanding military exploits, is now the operational staff officer of the special operations team." Yuesong introduced Yingzi to Captain Zhu.

"Salute, Lieutenant Colonel Yang is heroic, young and promising, learn from Lieutenant Colonel Yang." Captain Zhu saluted Yang Ying.

Unexpectedly, Yang Ying's words came out and made Captain Zhu very embarrassed.

"Captain Zhu, the guerrillas are not a regular army, and you are not a formal soldier, so you don't have to salute me and Lieutenant Colonel Luo in the future, and you can't break the rules."

After hearing Yingzi's words, Captain Zhu opened his mouth wide and didn't know what to say.

Yuesong opened his mouth and said: "The war is imminent, and all the people are soldiers. Captain Zhu's guerrillas are an important armed force in the war of resistance and have contributed a lot. However, the regular army has ranks and strict military discipline, so Lieutenant Colonel Yang is right. In the future,

Captain Zhu doesn’t have to salute when he sees us, that’s it, it’s good to shake hands, right, Captain Hu?”

Yuesong warmly held Captain Zhu's hand again.

Biaozi said with a smile: "That's right, that's right. We are all one family, but soldiers are soldiers and civilians are civilians. They each have different responsibilities and disciplines. It's good to just shake hands. It's good."

"Okay, shake hands, shake hands." Captain Zhu was still a little embarrassed. Fortunately, Biaozi had explained it to Captain Zhu in advance. Otherwise, it would not be impossible for Captain Zhu to walk away in anger.

Yingzi pulled Yuesong aside and whispered to Yuesong: "Why did the guerrillas get involved? Our actions are top secret."

"Lieutenant Colonel Yang Ying, I'm going to criticize you. When we were in Myanmar, we lacked a mass base. Material supplies, especially the supplies of daily necessities, relied entirely on seizures, which was a bit passive."

"If you don't seize it, Shangfeng will also provide us with supplies. Not to mention daily necessities, even American guns and ammunition can be supplied." Yingzi was still reluctant.

Yuesong lit a cigarette, suppressed his temper, and said patiently: "With the help of the guerrillas, not only will it be easier to approach the Japanese fortress during reconnaissance, but the wounded soldiers will not have to live in the woods, isn't that good?"

"

"Don't blame me for not reminding you to pay attention to combat discipline." After Yingzi finished speaking, he threw away his hand and walked away.

"I know." Yuesong was a little unhappy and said loudly to Yingzi's back.
