208. The wolf dog is coming

When the sky dawned, Yuesong opened his eyes. Looking around, he saw that the fog was not too heavy and the air was very sweet. The first ones to get up were always the little birds. A small and exquisite skylark stood in front of Yuesong.

He was jumping up and down on the branches of the bushes, tilting his head and rolling his small black eyes. He looked curiously at this guy who suddenly started to move. His sense of precaution was far greater than his curiosity.

Yuesong took out a cigarette, lit it, took a puff, and the skylark flew high into the sky.

Yuesong smiled slightly, walked to Tiedan who was still sleeping soundly, gave Tiedan a gentle kick, and said: "Get up, get up, go inform the brothers and prepare to conduct reconnaissance."

"Um, oh, ah, yes." Tiedan slowly woke up and his answer became clearer and clearer.

Yuesong was smoking and wandering in the woods when he saw Captain Zhu moving his arms and legs.

"Good morning, Captain Zhu." Yuesong greeted.

"Good morning, good morning, Captain Luo, do we have to set off?"

"Let's go, you and Caogener should lead the way, go that way and take a look at the Japanese defense line on the Nujiang River." Yuesong pointed to the northeast.

"You have to have it." After Captain Zhu checked his rifle, he woke up Cao Gen'er.

Not long after, Renxian and Brother Chao came over, and they bumped into each other.

Yuesong said: "Brothers, I don't have much to explain. The marching formation is still the same as the departure. But when we are approaching the Japs' Nujiang defense line, we need to be more vigilant. This time there will be no fire test. Can you please stop disturbing me?"

The devils should try not to disturb you."

"Yes." The brothers agreed and went back to their places.

"Captain Zhu, it's time to go." Yuesong said to Captain Zhu.

"You have to have it." Captain Zhu and Cao Gen'er set off first.

It only took more than an hour to walk. Because we were close to the Nu River, the fog in the forest here became thicker.

Captain Zhu and Cao Gener listened at a pass. Yuesong walked over and the three of them discussed together.

"Captain Luo, the Nu River is in front of us. The Nu River in this area is very fast and is not suitable for crossing the river. Therefore, the Japs have very few defensive troops. However, the Japs patrols will pass by from time to time, and the Japs particularly like to place secret sentries to secretly keep an eye on the people in this area.

We have to be especially careful around the rivers and mountains," Captain Zhu said in a low voice.

"Well, the fog is heavy, so it's not easy for each other to find each other, but the Japanese are in the dark and we are in the open. Grassroots, please pay attention to your steps, try not to make any noise, and protect Captain Zhu."

"Yes, Captain." Cao Gen'er's eyes widened.

"Captain Zhu, you move forward slowly. I will send an order to the brothers to be more careful. You should pay more attention to protecting yourselves." After Yuesong finished speaking, he put the sniper rifle on his back and took out the mirror box.

After groping forward for more than half an hour, they reached the edge of the forest and could hear the roar of the Nu River. Yuesong asked the brothers to whisper, and the team stopped at the edge of the forest.

Yuesong took off the sniper scope and looked at the bank of the Nu River. There was a path on the bank. The weeds on both sides of the path had traces of being run over by motorcycles, and there were also traces of tracks being run over by the Japanese Iron King Bar. It looked like this was not the case.

The area is suitable for crossing the river. The Japs are also very careful in their defense. The traces are all fresh. It seems that there have been Japs vehicles patrolling within a few hours.

"There are ghosts." Cao Gen'er reminded in a low voice.

Yuesong moved the sniper scope in the direction of Cao Gen'er's finger, and sure enough he saw a small group of Japs, led by a corps leader, lining up to patrol the river bank.

"There are wolves and dogs." Yuesong said as he watched, "Grassroots went to convey the order and get ready for battle. The ears of the Japanese wolves and dogs stood up."

"Yes." Cao Gen'er took the assault rifle and ran to deliver the order.

Yuesong attached the sniper scope to the rifle and watched the Japanese patrol closely with the rifle in hand.

The corporal commander looked at where the wolf-dog was standing, listened with his ears pricked, and stared at the edge of the forest. He immediately signaled the Japs to disperse. The Japs picked up their rifles one after another and loaded the bullets with a click.

The wolfdog stared here for a while, lowered his head and smelled the ground, and slowly walked toward Yuesong and the others with small steps. The team leader led the Japanese soldiers closely behind the wolfdog, and the patrol team quickly turned into an attack.

Battle formation.

"Captain Luo, let's withdraw." Captain Zhu said quietly.

"Don't move. The wolf-dog's hearing and sense of smell are very sensitive. If it weren't for the fog, it might have rushed over. We'll see." After Yuesong finished speaking, he also pushed a bullet.
