Chapter 161 The Ten Evils of Buddhism

On top of an oxcart, in the bustling city, a fat monk and a young man were discussing Buddhist teachings through the curtain of the cart. This thing was easily accessible to Monk Kongkong.

"The four elements are empty, transcend things, practice hard all day long, and gain great liberation!"

It was simple to say but not easy to do. Ye An lay on the brocade quilt and smiled, his laughter full of sarcasm: "You mean I have to tolerate injustice because it is in vain?"

"Xiao Langjun is enlightened. The so-called emptiness means that all existing things have no self, entity, or me. This is emptiness!"

This is obviously changing the topic!

But Ye An didn't care about it. On the contrary, Monk Kongkong had fallen into his trap: "Since the great monk said that you want to be empty and to realize the empty world, then I ask you: trying to give up desire is a kind of desire in itself. How can you get rid of it?"

null?"

Ye An's words hit the core issue of most religions. Giving up desire itself has a purpose, and having purpose will produce desire. This is a huge paradox in philosophical thought.

Monk Kong Kong practices Mahayana Buddhism, and its fundamental thought is Kong, also called Shun Ruoduo, a god recorded in the Shurangama Sutra. However, Buddhism is a so-called atheistic religion and opposes idol worship...

This is so fucking contradictory.

Ye Anzai and Monk Kongkong "biankong" is the most skillful debate among Buddhists. After so many years of localization in the Central Plains, the theory of "biankong" has become quite mature.

Monk Kongkong was stunned for a moment, and then said: "I am empty, it is empty, everything is empty, there is no need to deliberately pursue it, it is a profound understanding."

Ye An's curious voice passed from behind the car curtain: "In this case, the people in the world just sit on the ground and do nothing, just waiting to die. Why do they need to work, why do they need civilization, why do they need to study and understand?"

To argue against Kongkong is to argue against Kongkong, but Monk Kongkong never expected that Ye An would argue with him in such a arrogant way: "People can only see the true nature of Kongkong after experiencing it in the world of mortals and experiencing suffering, so...

"

"Hey! Great monk, you have said something contradictory again. Since emptiness is emptiness, why do you need to go through experience? Oh! You mean that I have to go through suffering to be liberated? Doesn't emptiness always exist? Isn't emptiness just emptiness?

?How can something come from nothing? Since everything is emptiness, it should never be contaminated!”

Faced with Ye An's questioning, Monk Kongkong was speechless for a moment. In fact, what he didn't know was that it was no longer a debate about Kongkong, but a philosophical debate at a higher level, a debate between idealism and materialism.

Ye An is not stupid. He is definitely no match for Monk Kong Kong in Buddhism. He can refute himself by citing scriptures. The best way is to lead him to another battlefield, a battlefield of philosophy and logic.

In this field, Ye An believes that he can crush Monk Kong Kong, because the old professor used this method to help a friend who had been a Buddhist for many years slowly get rid of the constraints of Buddhism and return to his family and lover to spend his old age happily.

"What I said little friend is not empty, but true! Then why is it true?!"

Hey, this is changing the topic. I didn’t expect the great monk to have two brushes!

Ye An smiled: "Truth and emptiness are opposites. To argue against emptiness is to argue against emptiness. You bring the topic to truth and want me to prove truth? You use refutation of truth to prove your emptiness? What a plan!"

Monk Kongkong laughed and said, "My little friend, do you dare to tell what is true?"

The oxcart has arrived at Nan Lecture Hall Lane, and the tall gate of the Wang family is right in front of you. There are no other decorations in front of the door, only a pair of simple and unpretentious doors.

Tieniu had already got off the bullock cart to deliver the greeting card, and Xuan'er also got off the bullock cart in order to let Ye An better "defeat" the smelly monk.

"Ha! Since the great monk doesn't give up, let me tell you what is true! Bravely admitting and facing your own feelings is true. The mountains, rivers and earth are true! The wind, snow, thunder and lightning are true! Joy, anger

, worry, thinking, sadness, fear, and shock are also true!

Is there something wrong with you when you don’t even want truth and insist on pursuing emptiness?! If you abandon these things, you are not a human being, even worse than an animal.

The crow still knows how to nurse in return, and the lamb also kneels down to breastfeed, but you don’t know anything!

Great monk, doesn’t the emptiness you pursue wholeheartedly destroy human nature? What is human nature? It is the aura of the dawn of heaven and earth! It is great wisdom! The emptiness you pursue is the thing that turns people into stones! That is not emptiness, but evil!

"

Ye An sneered, why did materialist thought occupy an absolute leadership position in later generations?

The reason is very simple, because the easiest thing for people to believe is what they really feel!

Everything that people can feel while living in the world is real. This is a world made of matter. Even if you close your eyes, things that should exist still exist.

Even after death, the sun will still rise and set as usual and will not change due to human thoughts.

Monk Kongkong was completely confused by Ye An's materialistic thoughts. For a moment, he felt that what he said seemed to be right, but there seemed to be something wrong with his years of practice and pursuit.

But at the same time, I also felt that what Ye An said was not right. My own thoughts should be able to refute him, but I was unable to grasp the problem for the time being.

It's a pity that Ye An won't give him a chance to figure it out: "Buddhism is a joke. Men don't know how to farm but farmers provide them with food. Women don't know how to raise silkworms but weaver girls provide them with clothes! Isn't this the greatest evil?

The man wanders away from the temple, and the woman is homeless and resentful. She feels yin and yang at the top, and is sexually immoral at the bottom. If you are not a young boy, you will not become a strong man, and you are on the runaway labor. This is a person who has no home and no country.

Can such a person be considered a member of our Han family?

Don’t be afraid of poverty but be afraid of not giving alms. Don’t be afraid of doing evil but be afraid of not fasting to Buddha. The people’s wealth will be exhausted and the country’s supplies will be greatly consumed!

You deceive other people's children, wear clothes and lose your hair, do not provide for your relatives and old people, do not help the poor. You do not change the fields, do not plant orchards, and the mountains and deep swamps are all occupied by rats like you!

The work of building and repairing temples has continued over time, driving the poor away and taking away the farming season. Wood, wood, tiles and stones have been harvested at the same time. The market price has skyrocketed, and the people have no homes to live in! The entrance halls are decorated, the utensils are luxurious, the carvings and lacquers are not done!

The son of a lazy farmer, avoids the cunning of officials, escapes from servants, and returns home! These are the ten evils of Buddhism! If they are not cured, they will be riddled with cancer!"

Ye Anyu spoke louder and louder, standing on the bullock cart and pointing condescendingly at the monk Kong Kong. This time he was not arguing with the monk, but using the sharp sword of facts to kill the false veil of Buddhism.

Different from later generations, religious propagation in this era involved a large number of conversion and missionary activities. As long as the monk was interested in a child, he would lure the person away with a few words, and even let the parents happily give away the child.

Otherwise, how could there be so many monks in the world?

Since religion is good, why are all religions in later generations not allowed to preach in public? Because religion is too deceptive and deceptive!

As soon as Ye An's Ten Deadly Sins of Buddhism came out, it was like a sharp sword that pierced the last fig leaf of Buddhism. For a while, Monk Kongkong could only make a sound of "Hehe..." from his throat without saying a word to refute.
