Yang Tuo did not dare to be too distracted, so he quickly recovered his mind and continued to listen to the golden elixir avenue.
Although it is not certain whether it will be revised or not, this Jindan Dao is only used as a reference and will be of great benefit to oneself.
With the understanding of Jindan Dao, Yang Tuo made some improvements to his Sanguang Cave Mysterious Transformation Sutra based on it.
Moreover, there was a strange feeling echoing in his mind, as if something was about to take root and sprout.
At this time, he had forgotten the golden elixir method, the Sanguang Cave Mysterious Transformation Sutra, and the Great Dao. There was only a spark flashing in his heart.
He tried his best to catch him and pursue him, but he always fell short. Yang Tuo felt a little anxious in his heart. He felt that this fleeting light was quite important to him.
However, the reason why opportunity is an opportunity cannot be forced. As I stopped preaching, he still failed to seize that chance.
After a long time, Yang Tuo sighed and slowly opened his eyes. Yin Xi on the side also slowly finished his work at this time.
Yang Tuo looked at Yin Xi. He found that Yin Xi's whole body was restrained and full of energy. It seemed that he had gained a lot from this sermon.
When I saw the two of them waking up, I asked, "Can you two gain anything?"
Yin Xi was the first to answer: "Disciples have experienced the infinite wonders in the Great Dao. Although they have gained something, they are not as good as they could have been!"
I looked at Yin Xi and saw that his foundation was now solid and he was no longer as frivolous as his predecessors. I knew that he had gained something, but not much.
After all, Yin Xi's cultivation is still shallow, and he has not gained much, which is expected. I looked at Yang Tuo again.
Yang Tuo's cultivation level is much higher than that of Yin Xi, so he has gained a lot, but for him now, it only adds some background and thickens his foundation.
As for cultivation, there has not been much progress. Although the preaching of saints is extraordinary, cultivation is a personal behavior after all, and even a saint cannot do it for you.
When you reach Taiyi Fairyland, you need to understand every step. If you don't understand, even if the saint preaches, it will be of little use.
Otherwise, wouldn't the cultivation level of the saint's disciples be much higher than that of others! But this is not the case. The backbone of Chan Jiao and Jie Jiao are both from the Taiyi Immortal Realm.
Before becoming a god, he taught the Twelve Golden Immortals, except Guangchengzi, who entered Daluo through his battle against Chi You.
The rest of the people are basically in the Taiyi Fairyland, except of course Sanwu Zhenren Huanglong.
The same is true for Jie Jiao, except for the four direct disciples, Taoist Duobao, Holy Mother Jinling, Holy Mother Wudang, and Holy Mother Turtle Ling, who are Taoist Daluo.
Only Zhao Gongming and Yunxiao are Daluo cultivators. Maybe there will be a Wuyun Immortal. In addition, the backbone is also Taiyi cultivator.
Yang Tuo now listens to Laozi's sermons, and although he has gained a lot, it has not played a decisive role.
Even the sage said that he has walked out of his own way. Although Lao Tzu's way is mysterious, it can only be used as a reference.
Yang Tuo was silent for a moment, and then said: "Although the disciple has gained something, there are still more things that are unknown. I hope the saint will figure out the puzzle!"
I then asked: "Do you have any questions?"
Yang Tuo bowed and said: "The sage said:
If you do not respect the virtuous, the people will not fight.
Goods that are cheap and hard to come by will prevent people from stealing them.
There is no desire to be seen, so that the people's minds will not be confused.
This is the rule of saints,
empty one's heart and fill one's belly;
Weaken your will and strengthen your bones.
It often makes people ignorant and desireless,
He who makes his husband aware does not dare to do anything.
If you do nothing, everything will be cured."
"What the sage said is not very clear to Tuo. If all living creatures in the world are ignorant and have no desires, wouldn't they be no different from livestock?" Yang Tuo asked the doubts in his heart.
Lao Tzu said: "The source of turmoil in the world is the heart. If the heart has selfish desires, it will fight, and fighting will lead to chaos."
"The three tribes of birds, beasts, and scales wanted to dominate the world, which resulted in endless disasters. In the end, all three tribes were harmed, and only then did the lich rise."
"The lich ruled the sky and the earth, and everything was fine. But because they wanted to overwhelm their opponents and unify the three realms, the lich war broke out. This led to the rise of the human race!"
"Nowadays, the human race is vaguely the protagonist of the world, but it is still full of selfish desires. Externally, it fights with hundreds of tribes, and internally, it strives for power and profit!"
"Therefore, the chaos in the world all originates from the heart. If the human heart is insufficient and selfish desires arise, the world will never have peace!"
"Selfish desires are the source of all evils. Only when you are satisfied and have few desires will there be no fighting! Without fighting, the world will be free from chaos and evil!"
Yang Tuo heard this and said: "Even so, if the human race does not fight, how can it rise from among all the races in the world?"
"If King Wu doesn't fight, how can he save the people who are trapped in fire and water! If talented and virtuous people don't fight, mediocre people will be in high positions."
"It is impossible for all creatures in the world to have no selfish desires, and even few people can achieve this. Such fighting will never stop. If others fight but I don't fight, wouldn't I be harmed by others?"
Lao Tzu replied: "The greatest good is like water. Water is good for all things and does not compete with it. It is what everyone hates, so it is close to the Tao. It lives in a good place, has a good heart, is kind and benevolent, speaks good faith, governs well, does good things and can do good things at the right time."
The husband does not fight, so there is no need for you."
Yang Tuo asked the doubts in his heart one by one, and I also gave his own answers. However, there were more and more questions in Yang Tuo's mind.
What Lao Tzu said is undoubtedly the great way, but it is difficult to achieve. Since it is difficult to achieve, then those who do not fight must be the ones who suffer.
The human race grows between heaven and earth, and has followed this principle since ancient times: when the sky is strong, a gentleman strives to constantly strive for self-improvement; when the terrain is flat, a gentleman carries things with great virtue.
The beautiful life of the human race today is also achieved through the struggle of countless sages. If the human race did not fight, I am afraid that it would have perished in this ancient world.
Therefore, the human race has always followed the concept of man conquering nature and constantly striving for self-improvement.
When a river overflows, there is no need to complain about it. Just clear it. When a mountain blocks the road, there is no need to complain. Just move it away.
This is contrary to Lao Tzu's teachings of non-dispute and non-desire. Lao Tzu believes that these should follow the decrees of nature and do not need to be changed by humans.
However, it is precisely because of the desire to pursue beauty that endless motivation will burst out. Only then will one be able to improve oneself, strive and make progress, and only then will the way of heaven develop.
If there are no desires, few desires, the world is stagnant, there is no progress, the way of heaven cannot develop, and everything in this world stays at the original point, then what is the meaning of this world!
As I explained, Yang Tuo had more and more doubts in his heart. I also saw Yang Tuo's doubts.
He opened his mouth and said: "Quietness and inaction is my way, but it is not your way. Everyone has their own way. If you have doubts in your mind, this is a good thing."
"As long as you continue to pursue your own path, these questions will eventually be answered one by one in the process of searching for the path."
"That's why I say that you have gone out of your own way. My way may not be suitable for you!"
Only then did Yang Tuo understand that what Lao Tzu said at the beginning was not that he was unwilling to accept him as a disciple, but that it really meant "the Tao is different"!
Yang Tuo came from later generations and was baptized by the sages of Huoyundong. The Tao in his heart is biased towards the human race. The human race should constantly strive for self-improvement, life and struggle!
