Chapter 185 Heavenly Demons Obstruct the Way, Merit Golden Lotus

Yang Tuo followed Lao Tzu walking in the desert and Gobi.

Although Xiniuhezhou is barren, it is still a place where living things gather. Along the way, it also passed many small countries.

Although these small countries are called countries, many of them are only the size of a city. Due to the barren land and scarce water sources, countries large and small cannot be connected together.

They had no choice but to develop their own lives and live a hard life in Hezhou, Xiniu.

Lao Tzu traveled all the way to the west, spreading the road all over the earth. The countries are as numerous as stars, and the settlements are like sparks of fire.

They accepted the teachings of the saints and sowed the seeds of Taoism. The philosophy of Taoism took root and sprouted in the land of Hezhou, Xiniu.

When Lao Tzu was traveling westward, Taoist Master Duobao who devoted himself to Kapilavastu was already over twenty years old.

The old king had already established him as the prince, but Taoist Duobao did not love glory and wealth. Just because he had seen many sufferings in the world, he had the idea that all living beings suffer.

From then on, he always wanted to become a monk and practice spiritual life to find a way to transcend for all sentient beings. However, the king only had one prince and the country had no heirs, so he had no choice but to press his heart's desire.

When he was nineteen years old, he married the princess of Koli City. It was not until he was twenty-nine years old that the princess gave birth to a prince for him, and he decided to leave home to practice Buddhism.

Although King Suddhodana was reluctant to give up, he also understood that his son had his own way to go, and he could not tie him to Kapilavastu, as that would limit his life.

He suppressed his grief and instead trained his grandson as his heir. He allowed his son to embark on the road of seeking the Tao with confidence and pursue the Tao in his heart.

Taoist Duobao left the palace alone one night and went to many holy places to seek the method of transcendence.

Near the city of Sahara, the king of Magadha, he studied meditation with the pioneers of Samkhya Alarakarama and Udaka Ramaputta.

Xiniu Hezhou has been managed by Western sects for a long time. Although it has broken through the mysteries and established Buddhism, it is still the mainstream of Xiniu Hezhou.

When Duobao Taoists go out to seek the Tao, the Dharma they encounter are all Buddhist practice methods.

This meditation is also a major method in Buddhism. It is a method of refining the mind for those who practice the Bodhisattva Way. Its purpose is to purify the mind, exercise wisdom, and enter the realm of the truth of all dharma.

However, although meditation is a great method with infinite magic power and infinite wisdom, it is a method for self-cultivation, perfecting oneself and perfecting the soul, and it does not help much in saving sentient beings.

Taoist Duobao gave up this path after practicing for a period of time. What he pursued was to free all living beings from the cycle of life and death and to escape from many sufferings such as birth, old age, illness, and death.

Meditation could not achieve this goal, so he bid farewell to Alarakarama and Udaka Ramaputta, and continued to search for a method that could save all living beings.

The Duobao Taoist went to the vicinity of Vaishali City to visit the ascetic Bhagava. Bhagava practiced ascetic practices in order to be reborn in heaven. He covered his body with grass and bark, ate flowers and fruits, or practiced self-starvation methods, practiced water and fire, and worshiped the sun.

The moon, or lying with one leg up on the dust, thorns, etc.

Taoist Taoist Master Duobao observed this ascetic practice and knew that it could only obtain the retribution of rebirth in heaven. In the questions and answers with Bhagavan and other practitioners, he realized that it was not the true path to liberation, so he resigned and continued to seek the path to liberation elsewhere.

Taoist Master Duobao walked all the way and came to Bodh Gaya, where he stopped. Among the many Dharma doors he had seen, none of them was a Dharma door to save sentient beings. They were all ways to save oneself.

He decided to stop and think about the method of liberation. He sat quietly under the Bibolo tree and thought about the Four Noble Truths and the Twelve Causes and Conditions.

Taoist Master Duobao wholeheartedly wants to save all sentient beings, so that they can escape from the sea of suffering and reach the other shore. There is no solution in the world, so Taoist Duobao meditates under the Bodhi tree in order to seek the way to transcendence.

In this way, Taoist Duobao began to enlighten himself under the Bodhi tree.

After several years of trekking, Lao Tzu and Yang Tuo also came to Bodh Gaya and saw the reincarnation of the Taoist Taoist Master - Siddhartha Gautama who was practicing under a tree.

At this time, Taoist Master Duobao was thinking hard under the bodhi tree, what is the source of the suffering of all sentient beings, what is liberation, and what is the method of liberation.

When I saw this, I didn't bother him, I just waited for him to wake up.

I don’t know how long it took, but Taoist Duobao, who was sitting under the tree, suddenly stood up, pointed one finger at the sky, and the other at the ground, and said, "I am the only one in heaven and earth!"

As Taoist Duobao finished speaking, the wind and clouds in the sky changed color. In the void, endless extraterrestrial demons suddenly appeared.

These extraterrestrial demons were endless and densely packed throughout the world. When Yang Tuo saw this, he was also horrified.

He knew that when Sakyamuni became enlightened, there would be demons coming, but he did not expect that there would be so many demons.

He immediately calmed down his mind, knowing that with the saint at his side, no matter how many demons he possessed, he would not be afraid. Moreover, Sakyamuni was destined to survive the disaster and complete his meritorious deeds.

Yang Tuo opened his Dharma Eyes and looked up into the sky. He saw a demon king riding a war elephant, slowly emerging from the void.

Yang Tuo took a closer look and saw that it was the Lord of Desire Realm, the Great Demon King Bo Xun.

When Bo Xun was in the Desire Realm, he saw Taoist Duobao who was about to achieve enlightenment, and immediately led a group of demons to stop him.

He could foresee that if this person became enlightened, it would be a huge harm to his Desire Realm.

The demons outside the territory are endless and extremely numerous. Bo Xun came with eight billion demons, and all the demons cast their own magic to destroy Taoist Duobao's state of mind.

At this time, Taoist Duobao has realized that I am the only one in the world, and my heart cannot move. No matter how powerful the magic of the demon outside the realm is, it cannot shake his heart at all.

No matter how the devil tempted him, Taoist Duobao sat peacefully under the tree. When Bo Xun saw this, he was very angry.

He sent his three daughters, Love, Love, and Love, to Taoist Duobao, and a real devil dance slowly unfolded.

When Yang Tuo saw this scene, he couldn't help but look at me. He saw me looking at the scene in front of him, unmoved at all.

All the demons also stayed away from the saint. However, the demons were afraid of the saint, but not afraid of Yang Tuo.

Many demons from the periphery rushed towards Yang Tuo because they could not squeeze in front of Taoist Duobao.

Seeing this, Yang Tuo thought: "It's just the right time!" He turned his palm over, and a golden lotus appeared in his hand.

It was the third-grade Golden Lotus of Merit and Virtue. The Golden Lotus of Merit and Virtue emitted infinite golden light. Before the demons in the sky could get close, they were illuminated by the golden light and dissipated.

I was also attracted by the golden light and couldn't help but look over. When he saw Yang Tuo holding a golden lotus in his hand, he couldn't help but let out a sigh.

He recognized at a glance that this was the Buddhist treasure of suppressing the religion - the twelfth-grade golden lotus of merit. However, the golden lotus in Yang Tuo's hand was only of the third grade.

Yang Tuo saw that all the heavenly demons around him had been swept away. Then he handed the golden lotus to Laozi and said: "Sage is here, there are many heavenly demons, and Bo Xun, the demon king of the desire realm, has personally taken action, Taoist Duobao, I'm afraid something is not going well!"

"

"I got this golden lotus by chance. It has immeasurable merits. It is the nemesis of the devil. It may be of some benefit to fellow Taoist Duobao!"
