The raw materials for papermaking are very abundant, and various trees and straw are good materials for papermaking. The paper produced may be different, but for writing, it should not be a big problem.
However, for this first papermaking, Yang Tuo decided to use South China Sea purple bamboo as the raw material. Bamboo is a better raw material for papermaking, and this purple bamboo has acquired spiritual roots.
Its material is extraordinary and full of aura. If the paper is made of it, it will definitely be extraordinary.
These papers are the best choice for writing books.
Yang Tuo took out a few pieces of purple bamboo from his storage bag and was ready to start the papermaking business.
Generally speaking, papermaking is not too complicated and can basically be divided into four steps.
Separation: Use soaking or cooking methods to degumm the raw materials in alkali solution and disperse them into fibers;
Beating: cutting and pounding the fibers, and brooming the fibers into pulp;
Papermaking: The paper pulp is infiltrated into slurry, and then the paper pulp is fished out with a paper scoop (strip mat), so that the pulp is interwoven into thin sheets of wet paper on the paper scoop;
Drying: Dry the wet paper in the sun or air, and then peel it off to become paper.
Of course there are some details, such as adding alum, adding glue, applying powder, sprinkling gold, dyeing and other steps.
Yang Tuo is a man with magical powers, so many steps can actually be skipped. But after all, making paper is not just for his own use.
It still needs to be completed by mortals. Yang Tuo still plans to follow the four steps, step by step.
First, crush the purple bamboo. This is actually not a simple task. The purple bamboo contains spiritual energy and is extremely hard.
It is not an easy task to crush it. Yang Tuodu had no choice but to chop it into pieces with the Demonic Blood Sword.
Then it was soaked in the Three Lights Divine Water and cooked in the real fire of the stars. The Blood-Transforming Magic Sword turned into a blood dragon and entered it to stir.
Finally, the paper pulp was fished out using magic, and after being flattened, the moisture was removed. Finally, a lot of paper was obtained that had a snow-white surface and shimmered with stars.
These papers are extraordinary at first glance. They are full of spiritual energy and reflected in the stars. If they were used as talisman paper, they would probably be of the highest quality.
In the future, Maoshan's yellow paper will pale in comparison. Just looking at its raw materials, it will be difficult for Maoshan to match it.
The paper was ready, and the choice of school was put on the agenda. Yang Tuo was thinking about it while he was on the road.
Among the twelve major schools, Taoism is a school passed down by Laozi. It advocates that Tao follows nature, transforms itself without doing anything, and responds to the changes of things.
It was passed down by Laozi and carried forward by Zhuangzi. This Taoism must not be touched. If such a school is established, let the saints deal with themselves.
Moreover, this Taoist thought is not in line with Yang Tuo's "Tao". Yang Tuo's Tao still involves competition and inaction with nature, which is probably on two levels.
Among the twelve schools of thought, Confucianism is one of the most influential. Its school advocates "rituals and music" and "benevolence and righteousness", advocates "loyalty and forgiveness" and "the golden mean", and advocates "moral governance" and "benevolent government". ", attaching importance to ethical relationships.
It is the school that is most favored by the king, and its influence is so great that it can be said that it has penetrated into the bone marrow of the human race.
It is said that this is the best choice for Yang Tuo. As long as he chooses Confucianism, after thousands of years of development, it may be able to support his cultivation to the realm of the three holy emperors of the human race.
Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, is known as the most holy teacher and a role model for all generations. It is not impossible to become a humane saint.
However, if you choose Confucianism, you may not be connected with the immortal way. Confucianism emphasizes joining the world, while the immortal way emphasizes being out of the world.
Yang Tuo is not ready to give up the immortal way and switch to Confucianism. He still prefers the freedom of the immortal way. Confucianism and Taoism are not what he yearns for if they are tempered in the world of mortals.
If you do not choose Confucianism, among the twelve academic schools, only Legalism can rival it.
Legalism advocates "ruling the country by law" and replacing the rule of man with the rule of law. As a time traveler of later generations, Yang Tuo is the most familiar with law.
He was the clearest about the potential of Legalism. Ordinarily Yang Tuo should choose Legalism without hesitation, and Legalism did not have a founder.
After the development of human race from generation to generation, Han Feizi finally became the master. Unlike Confucius in Confucianism, it is not yet known which great master was reincarnated.
Even with such good conditions, Yang Tuo still did not make up his mind in the end, because the most suitable method for Legalism was Shinto.
If he takes Legalism as his foundation, he may eventually give up the immortal way and practice the divine way with Emperor Ziwei as his foundation.
Choosing to enter Hunyuan in this way may not be a problem, but if you want to achieve enlightenment and become a saint, it is still a little short of the mark.
With the cooperation of Emperor Ziwei and the Legalists, it might be possible to finally achieve the great magical power of having the Constitution of Heaven spoken and speaking the law.
Yang Tuo was still hesitant. He considered Legalism as an alternative. If there was no better choice, Legalism would be his last choice.
Even if he enters the Shinto way because of this, it doesn't matter, everything is for the sake of enlightenment. When that time comes, he and God Haotian will probably be the biggest opponents.
The two of them would definitely fight to the death for the sake of the road. If he didn't really have no choice, Yang Tuo wouldn't be willing to take this step.
He is also not sure that he can defeat God Haotian, supplement and perfect the divine way, and create a road to the sky.
The next thing he considered was the farmers, who advocated cultivating mulberry trees to provide enough food and clothing. The spread of the farmers would definitely make the human race prosperous.
After all, food is the most important thing for people, and eating is the most important thing in the world. Having enough food and clothing is the most basic human need.
In addition, he also wrote "Agricultural Books", so it can be said that everything for the establishment of this school has been prepared.
Yang Tuo took out the "Agricultural Book" and looked at it. Today, the "Agricultural Book" is no longer what it used to be. After his continuous dissemination, the current "Agricultural Book" has become a spiritual treasure of merit.
There is absolutely no problem in using it to suppress the luck of farmers. Moreover, the solar terms that Yang Tuo has mastered are also closely related to farmers.
From a normal point of view, this farmhouse is more suitable for Yang Tuo than the Legalists. However, in Yang Tuo's view, the development potential of the farmhouse is not as good as the Legalists.
Farmers cannot support a Daluo Jinxian, but Legalists can support a Hunyuan Loose Immortal or a Hunyuan True Immortal.
Because farmers are limited to the human race, Legalism can be used in Shinto. Among all the races in the world, many races do not need to eat at all.
They can survive by eating wind, drinking dew, and absorbing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. For example, the Celestials and Asuras can absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth since they were born.
There are also many races in the water that cannot use agricultural roads at all. There are also races in rocks, Gobis, volcanoes, elemental spirits, and other races that do not need this road!
Farmers have some inherent deficiencies, let alone achieving enlightenment and becoming a saint through this. That is unthinkable. To be able to become a Daluo Jinxian through this, it is only thanks to the human race as the protagonist of the world.
If it were a weaker race, even the Great Luo Jinxian wouldn't be able to support it.
Finally, the Mohist, Yin-Yang, military, and medical schools were all good schools. As for the famous schools, miscellaneous schools, novelists, and strategists, they were abandoned by Yang Tuo.
