Not to mention Yang Tuo's thoughts, several people on the stone stairs had gradually arrived at the mountain gate.
The figures of several people emerged from the mirage, and they were all tall and burly people. The scholars of this era are not yet as frail as those of later generations.
This is a time of great strife, and the human race is constantly striving for self-improvement. Scholars in this era pay more attention to the generals and generals.
Although they study knowledge, they all have good martial arts. I saw only a few people climbing up the thousands of steps, but their faces did not turn red and their hearts did not beat.
When the five people crossed the mountain gate, Yang Tuo greeted them. It wasn't that he didn't want to welcome them from a distance, but with his status, no matter how far away he was, it was not too far.
However, there are some things that are too much and too little. Being too enthusiastic is not a good thing. Greeting each other at this mountain gate shows respect without being overly enthusiastic.
Yang Tuo shouted loudly and said: "It's great to have friends from far away! Today, we, Taishan Academy, are very honored to have a great sage come to visit us!"
After saying that, he bowed to the visitor.
Seeing this, the visitor solemnly replied: "Confucius took the liberty of visiting, please forgive me!"
After hearing what the visitor said, Yang Tuo thought to himself: "It must be this person!" Then he looked at the man who called himself Confucius.
This is Confucius, who was revered as the most holy teacher in later generations. Confucius's name was Qiu, his courtesy name was Zhongni, and he was a native of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period.
He was an educator, thinker and politician in the Spring and Autumn Period, and was the founder of Confucianism.
Yang Tuo was looking at Confucius, but Confucius was also observing the headmaster of Taishan Academy. According to his estimation, the headmaster of this academy should be an old master with white hair and beard.
Unexpectedly, he is a Taoist who looks younger than him. It has been decades since Taishan Academy came into existence, and at this time, he is much older than him.
I didn't want to see him now, but I saw that this man was only twenty years old, and I felt strange in my heart. However, Confucius was not an ordinary person, and he immediately understood that this man was probably a true sage.
After the two parties met, Yang Tuo welcomed the five people into the academy. There was a place for entertaining guests in the academy's lecture hall.
After everyone was divided into guests and hosts, Yang Tuogang looked at the four people behind Confucius and thought to himself: "I think these people are also sages among the seventy-two sages."
In Yang Tuo's view, Confucius was indeed a good teacher. He had three thousand disciples and seventy-two sages, all of whom were outstanding and among the best.
Yang Tuo asked: "I wonder who these four are?"
Confucius looked at the four of them and replied: "They are all my disciples. This is Zilu, this is Ran You, this is Zigong, and this is Zigao. The four of them accompanied me on my journey, and they are my most proud ones."
disciple!"
Following Confucius' introduction, Zi Lu, Ran You, Zigong and Zi Gao all saluted Yang Tuo.
Yang Tuo praised: "They are all rising stars of the human race. Master taught them well. They are all restrained in their spiritual light and full of knowledge." Confucius was very happy when he heard that Yang Tuo praised his disciples.
Everyone chatted for a while, and then Confucius got to the point, "When I was in the State of Lu, I heard that there were sages on Mount Tai who imparted knowledge and explained the Great Way."
"Therefore, I took the liberty to lead a group of disciples here to ask for advice, hoping to learn the great truth. I also asked the sages to give me advice. We are very grateful!"
After saying that, he led all the disciples and bowed to ask for advice.
Yang Tuo hurriedly helped everyone up, "Since the sages are here, we should discuss with each other how to ask for advice."
He said this without waiting for Confucius and others to be polite. According to his seniority, he was indeed a sage, above Confucius. With his current status, it is not an exaggeration to ask Da to give some advice to Confucius.
But what kind of person is Confucius? He can be regarded as the first human being after the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. Even if he attained Taoism in succession, how can he treat Confucius as an ordinary person?
Therefore, without waiting for Confucius to continue speaking, Yang Tuo introduced several kinds of knowledge he taught. It is naturally a rare good thing to have a good relationship with Confucius.
"My Taishan Academy has only three or five volumes in its collection. I dare not claim to be a great master, but I have only gained a little."
When Confucius heard this, he couldn't help but be stunned. This large academy only contained three or five volumes of books. In his opinion, it was simply incredible.
How could it be possible that the headmaster of Taishan Academy, whose appearance had not aged for decades and who was considered a master of the Tao, only had three or five volumes of knowledge?
Either the mountain leader didn't want to teach it and deliberately said this to politely refuse. Or these three or five volumes must be a world-shaking way.
Based on the attitude of the mountain leader, Confucius believed that the latter was more likely. His breathing could not help but become a little rapid, and even his mood could not help but be a little excited.
Confucius bowed first and said: "Please give me some advice from the sages!"
Seeing this, Yang Tuo nodded secretly: "It's true that he is Confucius. He has many disciples now and is also a role model for others. He doesn't want to encounter knowledge, but he can still maintain his original intention and his desire to learn!"
Yang Tuo said slowly: "I have a medical section, divided into three volumes, upper, middle and lower. It contains 365 categories of medicines, which can cure all diseases in the world."
"The first volume of Agriculture, totaling sixty-two volumes, records all aspects of human agriculture. Obtaining it can save the world from hunger and cold."
"One part of the Calendar, consisting of twenty-four volumes, describes the solar terms of heaven and earth and various weather conditions. With this information, you can observe the stars in the sky and check the solar terms of the four seasons below, so that you will not suffer disasters from now on."
"The first part of history, with a total of fourteen volumes, records the history of the three ancestors, the three emperors, the five emperors, Xia, Shang, Zhou, etc. since the birth of the human race. It can be wise and avoid the suffering of chaos."
Yang Tuo explained these four volumes and more than a hundred volumes of classics one by one with a smile. Confucius became more and more horrified as he listened.
This is not a collection of three or five volumes. According to this statement, these four volumes and more than one hundred volumes are all treasures of the human race. If you get one of them, you will have a great road ahead.
Hearing this, Confucius stood up quickly, solemnly arranged his clothes, led his four disciples, and asked, "Please give me some advice from the sages!"
Yang Tuo waved his hand and stopped the five people. Then he said: "If you are someone else, you have to pass the test before you can pass one or two. But you can go to the Royal Library and read it by yourself. It depends on how much you can learn.
You wait for fate!"
Although Confucius and others had guessed that the headmaster of Taishan Academy must be a sage, it was only now that he saw him exerting his magic power that he understood that his practice was successful. No wonder he could stay young forever and live forever.
At this time, I received the sage's permission to enter the imperial library and have a look. They were all very happy.
Yang Tuo then ordered a student to take the five people to the Royal Library. Although Confucius was yearning for it, he couldn't hold it anymore, but he thought of the disciples at the foot of the mountain and opened his mouth to speak.
When Yang Tuo saw the situation, he knew what he was talking about. Without waiting for Confucius to speak, he said: "Master, there is no need to worry, just take a look!"
As he said that, he pointed his finger and saw the fog filling the courtyard, and several vehicle frames emerged from the fog.
It was the disciples that Confucius left at the foot of the mountain.
The disciples were originally resting when a burst of mist hit them, and then they changed spaces and came here.
Although they didn't know why, Confucius was at the side, so they all saluted to Confucius without thinking too much.
Yang Tuo then ordered the students to take everyone to their dormitories and settle down. After everyone left, Confucius thanked him again: "More sages!"
Yang Tuo shook his head and said: "No need to be polite, go ahead!" Then he turned and left.
Although Confucius had achieved some success in learning at this time, he had not yet clearly understood his own way. He still needed to accumulate knowledge.
After he revised the Six Classics and compiled the Spring and Autumn Period, he could establish the Confucian school.
