Chapter 183 The shape and meaning are also very powerful

Ye Xingyu's Tai Chi was of course real Tai Chi, and Zhang Sanfeng performed it himself, which was the effect. However, Ji Changxian's Xingyi, to put it bluntly, was far from perfect, and he had not mastered it at all.

Seriously speaking, the origin of Xingyi Quan is not weaker than that of Tai Chi. Tai Chi was founded by Wudang ancestor Zhang Sanfeng, while the source of Xingyi Quan is the founder of Shaolin Bodhidharma.

There is a poem that says: Damoshi didn't know a single word when he came, and he practiced kung fu entirely based on his mind.

Therefore, Xingyiquan was not called Xingyiquan at first, but Xingyiquan.

It's just that Buddhists tend to be more inclined to idealistic theory and like to make mysteries. Many things are said in a vague and unclear way, and you need to understand them yourself. This is also true when teaching martial arts.

When Bodhidharma was alive, he only dictated the boxing intention and did not pass down the boxing manual. Therefore, the Xinyi Boxing really depends on everyone's intention. Once you understand it, you can practice it. It is fate. If you don't understand it, you will not be able to enter.

, it is fate but not destiny.

Until the end of the Ming Dynasty, a warrior named Ji Jike went to Zhongnan Mountain to look for a famous master when he was young, and obtained his true biography.

Yue Wumu was Yue Fei, the famous anti-gold general in the Southern Song Dynasty. He had superb marksmanship and superb martial arts. Because Ji Jike received the inheritance from Yue Fei, he was also very accomplished in marksmanship and practiced the Liuhe Marksmanship.

After the fall of the Ming Dynasty, the rulers of the Qing Dynasty prohibited private possession of weapons among the people, so Ji Jike abandoned the gun and transformed the Liuhe Marksmanship into Liuhe Boxing.

Ji Jike also went to Shaolin and learned the Shaolin boxing method, which is the Xingyi boxing that depends on fate. Finally, he understood the boxing intention, and then integrated it into the Liuhe boxing method, which eventually evolved into Xinyi Liuhe boxing. This is the Xingyi boxing respected by later generations.

fist.

The mind is the fist intention of Patriarch Bodhidharma.

Liuhe means the unity of heart and mind, the unity of intention and Qi, the unity of Qi and strength, the unity of shoulders and hips, the unity of elbows and knees, and the unity of hands and feet.

Therefore, Xingyiquan is a combination of Bodhidharma's boxing intention and Yue Fei's spear technique, which was finally integrated and created by Ji Jike.

Shaolin martial arts is characterized by masculinity and might. Yue Fei's marksmanship is used in battlefield battles, and is mainly focused on killing. Therefore, Xingyiquan is the most powerful among the three internal martial arts.

However, the name Xingyiquan comes from Li Luoneng, a martial artist from the Qing Dynasty. Based on Xinyi Liuhe Quan, he absorbed Taoist health-preserving views and philosophical ideas, combined with his life's martial arts practice, learned from each other's strengths, made up for his weaknesses, reformed and innovated, and changed "Xinyi" into "Xingyiquan".

For "Xingyi", it was officially named Xingyiquan.

Xingyiquan pays attention to the high degree of unity between inner meaning and appearance. There are five major fist styles, namely split fist style, collapse fist style, drill fist style, cannon fist style, and horizontal fist style, which respectively correspond to the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.

The splitting fist is like an axe, it is a smashing force, its nature is metal, the punching force comes from top to bottom, the force is heavy and powerful, it is powerful and domineering, it can smash and chop in succession, which can overwhelm mountains and seas.

Beng Fist is like an arrow, it is Beng Jin, its nature is wood, the fist power is straight and straight, the shot is quick, the power is short, the posture is like a chain of beads, collapsing mountains and cracking rocks.

The Drilling Fist is like a cone, it is a spinning force, its nature is water, the force of the fist comes from the outside in, combines hardness and softness, is fast, fierce and light, penetrates all holes, and specializes in weak points.

Pao Fist is like a cannon, it is an explosive force, its nature is fire, the force of the fist comes from the inside out, its strength is the strongest, its momentum is the most fierce, it is indestructible and extremely powerful.

The horizontal fist is like a beam, which is for shaking strength and is of earth nature. The fist strength is straight in the horizontal direction, blunt and steady, and exerts force horizontally. It can be used to attack or defend, and it can be used both offensively and defensively.

But this time, Ji Changxian was obviously only good at Beng Fist. Among the ten punches, at least eight were Beng Fist. The remaining four boxing styles seemed to be difficult for him to use.

Although Bengquan is good, if he keeps doing it like this, it will be easy for his opponent to find the pattern and use it to target him.

Of course, there is also a saying in the world of ancient martial arts that "one move is fresh, and it is used all over the world", which means that it is better to practice a full set than to master one move.

For example, Li Luoneng's disciple Guo Yunshen followed a specialized path and was known as "Half-step Bengquan to conquer the world". He created the unique unique skill of Half-step Bengquan and became famous in the martial arts world, making him almost invincible.

Ji Changxian probably also learned from Guo Yunshen, but his was not a half-step Bengquan, but a regular one-step Bengquan.

This method of practicing one move hard may have outstanding performance in actual combat, but it is not conducive to growth and improvement, which is what people often call "students with partial subjects."

How much water a barrel can hold depends on its shortest board. This is the famous barrel law, also called the short board theory.

Ji Changxian's barrel has only one board long and the other four boards are short. It's okay to bully children who are weaker than him, but if he encounters someone stronger than him, it's a waste.

Putting aside the power of the soul, Ye Xingyu's knowledge of martial arts is naturally far superior to Ji Changxian's. As soon as the opponent makes a move, he knows how to defeat it.

Therefore, Ji Changxian had trouble fighting no matter what, and felt like he was fundamentally restrained.

Martial arts strength can be roughly divided into two types: strength is internal and is the foundation; moves are external and is skills.

In modern terms, one is hard power and the other is soft power.

Ji Changxian's hard power is slightly stronger than that of Ye Xingyu, because he has practiced An Jin for many years, which is close to Dan Jin.

But in terms of soft power, he is far behind and cannot be compared with Ye Xingyu.

Soft power includes many things, not just moves and skills, but also martial arts knowledge, in-depth theories, combat wisdom, fighting experience, etc. Many of them require a lot of actual combat accumulation and cannot be obtained by practicing hard.

Now is a legal society. Ancient warriors who grew up in this environment generally lack actual combat experience. Some people have practiced martial arts all their lives and have never had a real life-and-death struggle. It is difficult to learn from drills and sparring without a sense of crisis.

Gain understanding.

But ancient society was different, with wars and chaos, incomplete legal systems, and the father with the big fist, who often fought for life and death.

Ye Xingyu has fought against countless people since ancient times. He has rich fighting experience and is definitely the best in history. Coupled with his peak martial arts theories and insights, he is ridiculously strong in terms of soft power, not to mention Ji Changxian's secret power.

Kesheng, even a Danjin master like Zhao Cheng, can easily handle it.

Therefore, Ji Changxian became miserable. The more he fought, the more frustrated he became, and the more he fought, the more uncomfortable he became. His strong self-confidence was quickly worn away with the passage of time, and he actually felt helpless.

Yan Shaoze's expression also changed, and the bad premonition in his heart became stronger and stronger.

He began to place three bets on the premise that Ji Chang would win first, within one minute, one minute to three minutes, and more than three minutes.

One minute passed quickly. Ji Changxian shouted loudly, but he missed repeatedly and failed to hit Ye Xingyu with his punch.

Three minutes passed. Ji Changxian was sweating profusely, his voice was hoarse, and he still didn't touch a single hair of the other party.

Then at five minutes, Ji Changxian, who was punching continuously, ran out of energy and began to lose his physical strength. His punch speed slowed down, his consistency became worse, and his strength also weakened.
