Chapter 21

Having just coaxed Zhou Jinghui, Liang Fan now had to make a choice.

Her brain was experiencing a high-speed storm. She stood up and secretly told Zhou Jinghui before going out: "If we meet, don't talk nonsense."

Holding an umbrella and going out, Liang Fan pretended to be puzzled: "Yanzhi, why are you here?"

Cheng Yanzhi's eyes had already passed her and looked at Zhou Jinghui behind her. The two people in front of him were dressed neatly and looked like a couple going out on a date. The suppressed anger in his heart surged up, and he looked at the woman in front of him with serious eyes:

"Why are you with him?"

Liang Fan can be with any man, but not Zhou Jinghui.

Following Cheng Yanzhi's gaze, Liang Fan asked tentatively: "Don't you... have a very good relationship?"

Cheng Yanzhi said nothing.

He was silent, and Liang Fan lied even more boldly: "I saw that you asked him to go out for a drink last time. You thought he was your friend, so you agreed to let him ask me out for dinner."

The art of language is very subtle. Liang Fan knew that he was a bit confused, but the logic behind his words was correct.

Sure enough, Cheng Yanzhi did not suspect that she and Zhou Jinghui were emotionally entangled, so he held her shoulders and made a gesture to go in.

Alarm bells rang in Liang Fan's heart, but there was nothing he could do. Her rash obstruction now would definitely arouse his suspicion. Bracing the bullet and following him, Liang Fan instantly became like a quail, following behind Cheng Yan.

Her current identity is Cheng Yanzhi's fiancée, and she cannot go against him.

Entering the restaurant, Cheng Yanzhi and Zhou Jinghui faced each other. The former had a sneer in his eyes, while the latter didn't want to act at all. Leaning back on the seat, Zhou Jinghui leaned back slightly with a cold expression: "Young Master Cheng is here by no means a coincidence.

, I didn’t prepare any dishes or chopsticks for you here.”

Cheng Yanzhi was in a good mood last time in his private room, but not this time, he was in a very bad mood.

Cheng Yanzhi was not annoyed at all by being treated coldly. He pulled out his chair and sat across from Zhou Jinghui. He poured himself a glass of warm water. He raised his head and took a sip to warm his body. The cold edges on his body softened and he said, "Give it a try?"

It’s not important that I prepare the dishes and chopsticks, but it’s more important that Master Zhou doesn’t want to poach me.”

He took Liang Fan's hand and held her tightly with his cold fingertips, making no attempt to conceal the close relationship between the two.

Liang Fan couldn't care less about who of the two men really cared about her and who was using her. She simply felt that she was trapped in a Shura field and didn't want to expose her relationship with one of them to the other.

She shook Cheng Yanzhi's hand, but her words were aimed at pleasing Zhou Jinghui: "Yanzhi, Mr. Zhou invited me to dinner with good intentions. Don't misunderstand anything."

Sure enough, as soon as these words came out, Zhou Jinghui raised his eyebrows at Cheng Yanzhi with a deep smile on his lips.

"As your fiancée, Miss Liang usually goes alone wherever she goes. It's kind of me to invite her out for dinner and some fun during her free time."

"She doesn't have time to play with you." Cheng Yanzhi smiled but said in a warning tone: "I just returned to China, isn't the company busy? I heard that Meiji recently held a tender, but you didn't even bid."

It is not easy for Zhou Jinghui to make a comeback. Cheng Yanzhi is not afraid of him coming back for revenge.

But he couldn't figure out where Zhou Jinghui had the confidence to go out and fool around every day. He didn't see how hard he worked for things. Instead, he belonged to a restaurant and club, and he frequented it often.

Being ridiculed in front of others, Zhou Jinghui was not angry or annoyed. He picked up the tableware and continued to eat. He looked leisurely and elegant. Under the gaze of the two people, he said slowly: "It doesn't matter whether you bid or not, in the end this project will cost you."

The real skill is who you fall into."

According to what he learned, Cheng Yanzhi's company did not win Meiji's project, and they are now in the same situation.

The two men were tit-for-tat about work matters, and Liang Fan stood aside and didn't understand anything. This was the first time she was introspecting about her abilities. She was simply a vase with only beauty.

The atmosphere at the dinner table was tense. Liang Wei looked at Zhou Jinghui, then turned to look at Cheng Yanzhi. Finally, she gasped, clutching her lower abdomen and crying out in pain: "I can't do it anymore, I'm going to die. Send me home quickly."

Liang Fan kept talking about trains, and neither of the two men found it strange.
