Chapter 482: The Buddha Cultivates the Dao, All Beings Cultivate the Buddha

Ksitigarbha…

Li Changan warily scanned the mysterious Buddha corpse in front of him.

Is he on the road to reincarnation from death?

Or has he been completely reincarnated from death?

But no matter what the situation is, it is still a higher level than Taihao's current level.

Today, half of Taihao's body is still missing.

Even his sanity is not yet sound.

But this Ksitigarbha's body was intact and his mind was as normal as usual. He even stopped using his physical power and instead used supernatural powers.

The strength of such an existence has long been unpredictable.

The scene where Ksitigarbha breaks free from the sea of blood indeed shows a power far beyond conventional imagination.

The Buddha's body withered and decayed, and Shura and Buddha were born together.

But... is the Ksitigarbha in front of me the same Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who said in mythology, "Unless hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha"?

Ksitigarbha showed no hostility, more like a friend visiting.

He and Li Changan came to Duobao, and after greeting Duobao, they recited the "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra" orally.

This is his kindness, or reward.

This method is extremely profound and related to the Buddhist kingdom.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is known as one of the four great Bodhisattvas in the Buddhist kingdom. His power is so profound that he can even sit on an equal footing with all Buddhas.

Such an existence has already stood at the pinnacle of the human world.

And such a method is also a peerless method that has never been seen before.

Duobao soon fell into the state of enlightenment, and all his understanding seemed to be related to Buddhism.

It was difficult to improve one's cultivation level before, but after encountering Buddhism, things have improved dramatically.

But Li Changan was not affected.

He rejected such a method from the bottom of his heart. It seemed to be inconsistent with himself and he could not practice it directly. If he could use the inscription method to understand it in the future, he might be able to practice it a little or two.

The three of them were sitting cross-legged on the shore of the Blood Sea, Duobao had already entered into a deep level of cultivation.

Li Changan sat opposite Ksitigarbha.

"The donor... knows the poor monk."

Ksitigarbha's tone was very firm, especially after he signed up his anonymity, Li Changan's reaction did not escape his Buddha-minded wisdom.

Especially after he forcibly transmitted a message for the third time and taught a small part of "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra", Li Changan's shock was even more visible to the naked eye.

Li Changan did not answer directly, but said eight words, "Until hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha."

When Ksitigarbha heard this, he was not too surprised. Instead, he showed a meaningful smile, with emotion in his eyes.

"The age of myth has long been buried in the depths of the long river of time, and there are probably only a few words left in the world."

"I didn't expect that the donor actually knew about things from the mythical age..."

Ksitigarbha now looks like the most ordinary monk in the world, unremarkable, making people feel close to him from the bottom of their hearts.

Ksitigarbha's words also made Li Changan's head tremble.

The four words "Mythical Age" mean that the myths you know are very likely to actually exist.

Taihao, the Flame Mountain Banana Fan, Ksitigarbha... these people and things that only appear in myths are very likely to be true.

In other words, are there still the Three Patriarchs of Taoism, the Jade Emperor, and the Tathagata Buddha here?

Such an impact is really terrible.

If we say that everything we have experienced in the human race territory before is only within the scope of human imagination.

So after coming to the demon clan and stepping onto the ancient path of demon war, what he saw was like a completely different world.

The ancient legends and myths of the past are gradually coming into reality.

At the same time, another question also arose in Li Changan's head.

Why have the human race never heard of such news and rumors?

It's like the myth doesn't exist.

It seems as if it has been forcibly erased by someone.

"So...should I call you Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva?"

Li Changan calmed down for a long time before he woke up from the shock, his voice full of complexity and anxiety.

Ksitigarbha was stunned for a moment, then slowly shook his head, "I am no longer him."

"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is dead, and I am just a new god born from the old body."

Having said this, a look of loneliness appeared on Ksitigarbha's expression.

"If hell is not empty, I will never become a Buddha."

"But how can this hell... be empty?"

"The great wish I had back then was just a scam. I fulfilled the Buddha's great wish, but the Buddha was unwilling to save me..."

In just a few sentences, many secrets of the mythical age are revealed.

Li Changan's mind swayed as he listened, feeling nervous as if he were peering into mythology and history, and asked, "What is a Buddha?"

"Buddha... is the Tathagata, and the Tathagata is also the Buddha..." Ksitigarbha said in meditation, "Coming from the state of enlightenment, he is the Tathagata."

"Enlightenment is the fruition of Buddhahood."

"Bodhisattvas go to enlightenment, and Buddhas come from enlightenment."

"The two seem to be consistent, and the Bodhisattva is perfect, which is called equal enlightenment."

"But after all, equal enlightenment is just the same, equal enlightenment is not true enlightenment!"

Such an explanation was something Li Changan had never heard of.

Even though he knew the myths and legends well, he couldn't even think of such an explanation.

This is another explanation of the Great Dao. The discussion between the two is more like a sit-down discussion.

Li Changan did not miss this opportunity and said, "The Bodhisattva is still seeking the Tao, but the Buddha comes from the Tao?"

Ksitigarbha pondered for a moment, nodded slightly, but then shook his head, "The Tao is incomplete. The Buddha completed the Tao with great wishes, but the foundation of the Tao is unstable, so we can only return from the Tao."

"Bodhisattvas, Arhats, billions of monks, countless novice monks...all use themselves to fulfill the Buddha's great wishes, and together they will achieve the path and fruition."

"Under this path and fruition, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, billions of bhikkhus, and countless novice monks... will become the Buddha's kingdom!"

Li Changan captured the key point, "Together we can achieve the fruit of Tao?"

"All living beings seek the Tao, but they can only achieve the Tao and fruit together... Is this Tao and fruit the fruit of the Buddha or the Tao?"

Ksitigarbha remained silent for even longer, and then he said eight words that could shake the minds of all sentient beings in their practice:

"Buddha cultivates the great path, and all sentient beings cultivate Buddhism!"

Boom!

As if there was thunder roaring in his heart, Li Changan was stunned on the spot.

These eight simple words reveal endless confusion and despair.

The Buddha occupies the path and fruition, but the cultivation of sentient beings’ minds only achieves the Buddha’s fruition.

In other words, the Buddha... stole the practice of sentient beings and blocked their path to enlightenment.

Just like a greedy glutton, entrenched in front of the Taoist Fruit, all people in the world who practice Buddhism will eventually fall into the mouth of the glutton.

Replace the Tao with Buddha!

Block the way with Buddha!

Stealing the Tao with Buddha!

If the Buddha is like this, what about being holy?

Is it the same for those literary saints?

Literary Dao, martial arts... Is it the Tao that you cultivate, or is it someone who is sacred and entrenched under the fruit of the Tao?

Is it you who has perfected your cultivation, or is it the being who stands at the top?

Li Changan thought a lot for a moment.

After a long time, Li Changan woke up from his daze and swallowed his dry throat.

"When the Buddha became enlightened, he made great wishes. Bodhisattvas also made great wishes, but they were unable to become Buddhas in the end?"

Although becoming a Buddha does not mean attaining the Tao, it is the closest position to the Tao!

Ksitigarbha shook his head, "Unless hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha."

"Hell will never be empty..."

There was darkness in his voice.

This is the darkness after despair.

"Why?" Li Changan asked again.

Ksitigarbha's words also shook his Taoist heart.

Ksitigarbha's path of seeking the Tao may also be his own path of seeking the Tao.

If we cannot find a way forward, how can we continue to practice in the future?

"Heaven, earth and people..." Ksitigarbha said slowly, "Originally there was only heaven and earth, but behind there was the world."

"There is a saying in the world that heaven is above, earth is below, and humans are in the middle."

"Of course, heaven, earth and people... heaven is above, humans are below, and hell is in the middle!"

He slowly stretched out a finger, as if to split the world into two.

"Man is under the earth, and hell is still above the human world. I returned from the netherworld and finally fell into the human world."

"There is also a rumor that the human world is the last hell in hell, called endless purgatory!"

"No matter what you say, if you want hell to be empty, you must first clean up the human world."

Li Changan was speechless.

Hell is still above the human world.

What a shocking statement is this?

But for some reason, he felt vaguely in his heart that such a statement was not unreasonable.

"The world has long been sick."

"No one cares about the life and death of the people. There are thousands of incense sticks in front of the Buddha's golden body."

He was whispering, the look in his eyes changing.

Ksitigarbha slowly stood up and saluted Li Changan, "Although everything is dark, there is still a glimmer of hope."

"This world is the end of the Dharma, and it is also the last chance to become a Buddha and become a saint."

"The last sage can obtain the fruits of the great road."

He took out a fragment of his cassock from his sleeve and said, "This is the "Great Wish Dharma", which was practiced by the Buddha back then. It can repay the benefactor for saving me."

"Donor, take care..."

After saying that, Ksitigarbha took a step forward, and a blood-gold Buddha lotus appeared under his feet and floated away.
