The poems and essays that have been submitted, including those by Li Changan, total twelve.
Twelve poems, if you read them wholeheartedly, you can finish them quickly.
But Xu Nian read it slowly and considered it word by word. Even if the poem in front of him made him frown, he did not just throw it aside.
Instead, after careful consideration, he picked up a pen and wrote comments in the blank space, and then put forward his own suggestions for revision.
He is only one step away from the master, but he does not look down upon any poem.
Finally, at the end of the comment, the words "This is my family's opinion, and we ask each other for advice."
Two hours have passed since I finished reading the previous eleven poems.
The last song is Li Changan's "Two Songs of Lovesickness".
Xu Nian turned his head and stretched his muscles, but he still stretched out his hand to bring Li Changan's poem to him.
To be honest, he didn't want to see it.
In his opinion, Li Changan's performance was a bit impetuous.
I have said so much sincerely, but it still has no effect.
So young and energetic.
"That's all." Xu Nian finally took "Two Songs of Lovesickness" from the table. "After reading it, I will find out the shortcomings. When I talk to him later, I will be able to say something meaningful."
The first thing that catches the eye is not the poetry, but the hand-written calligraphy.
"Hiss..." Xu Nian took a deep breath subconsciously, moved closer to the rice paper in his hand, and looked at each word carefully.
"It is obviously running script, but the cursive writing style is used in it to add momentum; not only cursive script is used, but regular script is also used, adding a touch of static beauty, wonderful..."
"The lines are mostly based on lifting and pressing. Occasionally, the twisting and turning technique is used, and the pen is used at the turning point simply and neatly."
Before Xu Nian read the content, he was already shocked by Li Changan's few crosses.
This was the first time he saw Li Changan's calligraphy, and he felt as if he was looking at the work of a calligraphy master.
It’s not that no one writes cursive script, but Li Changan’s calligraphy is refreshing.
"This character 'dice' is a masterpiece of ghostwriting. There are so many strokes that go by in one go, but it doesn't affect the beauty of the character."
Xu Nian clicked his tongue in surprise.
"It's a pity. You can still see the craftsmanship. The transition seems to be straightforward, but it still feels a bit sloppy."
Although he said it was a pity, Xu Nian's eyes were shining, like a wolf that had seen its prey. He closed the door with his hand and carefully spread out the rice paper in his hand.
"Although I haven't reached the level of a master yet, I have clearly found a new path, which is rare."
Xu Nian rubbed his hands, spread out a new piece of rice paper, and prepared to copy down Li Changan's poem.
He was reluctant to comment on such a precious piece of calligraphy and must preserve it.
"This Li Changan and Li Taibai, I didn't expect that he has good calligraphy and is unique in his own way. Is he really a genius to this extent?"
Xu Nian praised while copying, "Not to mention the content of the poem, just these words are one of a kind."
No one in the world can avoid calligraphy and painting.
Scholars basically have good calligraphy, but most people don’t know exactly what they are good at.
There are leading figures, and based on the grade evaluation of "apprentice, skilled craftsman, skilled craftsman, master, and literary master" within the academy, evaluation standards have been set for other fields, and they have been promoted and gradually gained the approval of the majority of people.
The first is to be an apprentice, which means that you are new to this profession and have a solid foundation.
Then he can be called a craftsman. The craftsman can make a living and teach his disciples, but he has more silk craftsmanship and less skill.
Later, he will become a master. A master has a harmonious artistic conception, and both calligraphy and painting are full of variety.
After the master, there is Zongzheng, who establishes a sect and establishes a world of its own. It can be called the orthodoxy of a sect.
In Xu Nian's opinion, Li Changan's calligraphy was already at the level of a top craftsman.
If you go one step further, you can be called a master.
Whether it's poetry, calligraphy, or storybook Go.
As long as you reach the level of a master, you are enough to be respected by the world.
That is the existence of truly standing on a high place and overlooking the clouds.
Xu Nian transcribed very quickly, but the further he went, the slower he started writing.
Especially when I copied "Linglong dice and red beans, I miss you so much that I know you", I got goosebumps all over my body, as if I had exhausted all my strength to finish copying these two sentences.
Putting Li Changan's handwriting aside carefully, Xu Nian took the poems he copied and read them word for word again.
"A foot of deep red is worse than Quchen, and old things are not as good as new."
"A foot of crimson... the hijab on a woman's head when she gets married. The red cloth covered with dust indicates that the husband prefers the new and dislikes the old."
"Although the technique is euphemistic, the words are too straightforward and lack the beauty of subtlety in terms of connotation."
Xu Nian wrote his opinions on the side, and then continued to look down.
"The Albizia Julibrissin Peach Core will eventually be hated, and there is no one else in Xu Yuanlai."
"The Albizia walnut is a symbol of love between a couple, but there is another person inside. This 'person' has the same pronunciation as 'ren', which is a bit interesting."
"This first song uses a lot of techniques, but the overall artistic conception is still too sad, lacking some aftertaste, and too straightforward and simple."
Xu Nian was considering every word. It seemed that his evaluation was not too high, but he was shocked in his heart.
In terms of poetic artistic conception, it is quite different from "Ascending the Ninth Tower". The two are not on the same level.
But Xu Nian had read the first draft of "Babble".
This poem is clearly written as "Babble".
The combination of the two is a bit too much.
Suppressing the shock in his heart, Xu Nian continued to look down.
"Lighting a lamp at the bottom of a well and holding a candle in the depths of the well, a team of heroes can play chess instead of playing chess."
Xu Nian read this sentence several times before shaking his head in confusion.
"I just said that the previous poem was too straightforward and simple, but this poem is too obscure. Who can ordinary people understand it?"
"Lighting a lamp at the bottom of a well is like a deep candle, which is a metaphor for 'deep instructions'."
"Long trip is originally a game of gambling, and here it also means traveling far away; Mo Go is also a pun on 'don't violate the return date'."
"This is to make Mr. Lang not forget his return date when he travels far away..."
Xu Nian picked up his pen again and marked it, and then looked at the last two sentences solemnly.
These two sentences are the most essence. Every time I read them, I feel sad and lingering.
"The exquisite dice and the red beans make me miss you so much."
"Exquisite dice are used in long-term gambling. Once again, I remind my husband, 'Don't go in long-distance play'."
“‘I miss you so much that I know you’,’ which means lingering love and ecstasy..."
"Where did this Li Chang'an come from? He wrote about a woman's difficulty in leaving in such a heartbreaking way..."
If we really want to say how high the intention of this poem is and how wonderful the technique is, Xu Nian is the first to refuse to accept it.
But when it comes to whether it is consistent with "Ballam", Xu Nian is the first to be convinced.
If the positions of the first and second songs were changed, it would be exactly the same as the story of "Babble".
Xu Nian even vaguely felt in his heart that the last two sentences, "The exquisite dice are safe with red beans, and I miss you deeply." is better than the entire "Babble".
This is no longer a combination of poetry and script.
It's more like the entire "Babble" is just to set off these two poems.
especially……
Xu Nian glanced at the last two sentences and still couldn't help but get goosebumps all over his body.
After a long time, Xu Nian rubbed his forehead, chuckled and shook his head,
"This Li Changan..."
"Young and energetic people make you lose your temper."
He also said that he should talk to him, give him a little hammering, and learn to keep his feet on the ground.
