Chapter 73 Farewell

The night is deep.

It was already very late after the family dinner held by the Sea King of Braavos.

After Viserys returned to his bedroom, he did not rush to rest. Instead, he asked the guards to bring over a map of the west coast of Essos.

Wow——

Then it was fully unfolded and spread on the table.

"Andas."

Only half of the white wax left on the table was burning quietly, and the little king was stroking the table with his hands at the moment, his eyes fixed on a location on the map.

"it's here..."

Viserys pointed his finger on the map. This place is located directly south of Braavos, east of the Narrow Sea, leaning on the coast of Braavos, with the Norvos Mountains to the east and the Velvet Mountains to the west.

The place called Andas pointed by Viserys is surrounded by these mountains and hills, an endless plain that relies on the sea.

What Viserys fought for on the negotiation table was such a piece of unclaimed land, and the Sea King of Braavos gave this piece of plain to the Targaryen family with a very generous stroke of his pen.

However, in fact, due to the special city-state system, although the merchant ships of Braavos have traveled all over the ocean, they have little interest in the nearby Andas Plains, so their influence on this land is not

not very big.

Although the Andas Plain is the hometown of the Andals, most of the cultural traces of the Andals have been erased due to migration and invasion.

Nowadays, there are only a few poor villages left on this land. There are no mineral veins underground. The land is vast and sparsely populated, and even the population is pitifully small. There is no oil and water to be extracted, and naturally no one pays attention to it.

The Sea King of Braavos hesitated and finally handed over this place with little development potential to Viserys.

It's called help, but in fact, in this place sandwiched between Braavos and Pentos, Viserys also needs to solve the problem of the Governor of Pentos.

But even so, Viserys was still happy.

Because of the tacit approval and endorsement of Braavos, this means that the Targaryen family has received a 'ticket' to join the nine Free Trade Cities.

"This is the most important."

Viserys breathed out softly and clenched his fists. Although he had already seen the location of Andas on the map in the Sea King's bedroom in Braavos, Viserys still wanted to look at it again.

Because this abandoned land sandwiched between Pentos and Braavos will be the place where he will establish his foothold on the continent of Essos in the future.

Even a young dragon needs a sky to fly in before it can eventually grow into an overlord overlooking the earth.

Otherwise, if you are trapped in a narrow dragon lair, you will end up like the last dragon of the Targaryen family. It is deformed, unable to reproduce, and died as a young dragon. Even the young dragon's bones are only the size of a human child.

.

...

It was not easy to come here. In the next few days, Viserys briefly wandered around Braavos after his disguise.

He first visited the Temple of Black and White, which is dedicated to the God of Many Faces. This temple built of dark gray stone is located on a small rocky hill.

This temple is low-key but profound. The entire building has no windows and is dark, with a pointed roof made of black tiles. The main gate of the Black and White Courtyard is a pair of twelve-foot-high carved wooden doors.

The door on the left is made of weirwood, as white as bones, while the door on the right is made of slightly shiny ebony.

There is a moon carved between the two doors of the Court of Black and White, but the weirwood is inlaid with ebony, and the ebony is inlaid with weirwood, which seems to be rich in some kind of rhythm.

The rock stairs lead directly from the entrance of the Black and White House to the pier below.

The river below is constantly flowing with boats, but not many people actually open the door and walk into the Courtyard of Black and White to pray silently by the pool.

Viserys then left the House of Black and White and visited the Temple of the Moonsinger. Due to historical reasons, the Temple of the Moonsinger is now the most spectacular and popular temple in Braavos.

The majestic snow-white marble palace has a large silver dome, and milky white glass windows show the different states of the moon. Beside each door are a pair of marble virgin statues, as tall as the statue of the Sea King in Braavos, supporting the crescent-shaped door beams.

However, Viserys did not visit the Temple of the Moonsinger because there were too many people here and Viserys was afraid of encountering any problems again.

So I just stayed on the boat for a while, and then left here without even getting off the boat.

The best brothels and taverns in Braavos are found near the Purple Harbor and Moonpool.

At night, outstanding swordsmen from all over Braavos gather near the Moon Pool to compete here, and the water on the Purple Harbor is brightly lit, creating a bustling scene.

Huge flower boats sailed on the water of Zigang, and milk and mellow wine were poured into the water. It was a completely prosperous scene.

Here are the world-famous courtesans of Braavos. Their status in Braavos is much higher than that of other city-states in the world. Here, every courtesan with stunning looks has his own flower boat and servants.

Their beauty was celebrated by singers, goldsmiths and jewelers rushed to make items for them, craftsmen begged for their patronage, and business magnates paid royal ransoms to perform in ballrooms, banquets, and plays.

Sometimes they hold their arms, and even assassins kill each other in their name.

time flies,

Viserys had a brief visit to Braavos in the past few days, and it was indeed eye-opening. He had only experienced this kind of prosperous and luxurious scene in his previous life.

But that's all, not a few days have passed.

Finally, another merchant ship with an official background from Braavos has loaded its cargo and is about to set sail for King's Landing.

We still take the previous route, arriving at Pentos first, then passing by Dragonstone and finally arriving at King's Landing.

"Let's go."

Viserys and the others, as well as Oberyn, were arranged by the Sea King of Braavos to secretly board the merchant ship and set off back to Dragonstone.

Wow——

The brigantine raised its sails, and the oarsmen on the bottom rowed hard. The big ship broke through the waves, and finally passed through the Titan holding the broken sword high.

Hululu...

The wind is noisy.

Viserys once again vaguely seemed to feel the Titan above him roaring again, and this time it was like bidding farewell to Viserys.

Then the merchant ship officially left Braavos and sailed into the sea.
