Chapter 39: Crowned as King

A few days later, according to the auspicious day chosen by Merlin, Arthur Pendragon held a grand coronation ceremony.

Under the gaze of many nobles, knights and civilians, King Uther's crown was respectfully placed on Arthur's head by the maid.

Arthur has a solemn face, wearing a blue woolen cloak with gorgeous golden patterns, and a blue and white knight's armor. The Sword of the King's Choice still hangs around his waist - it has become King Arthur's sword.

She majestically declared to Britain: "From this moment on, I am the King of Britain and rule all the territories of Britain."

Then he announced to the knights: "As the King of Britain and the Lord of the British Island, I declare to all the people and knights of Britain that I, Arthur Pendragon, become the king, believe in the glory of knights, and protect the people and knights.

Dignity, carry forward the past and open up the future, and protect the people in the territory."

"I will repay courage with glory, loyalty with love, betrayal with revenge, and witness the glory of Britain!"

In the square, cheers came and went.

Everyone knelt on one knee and offered their loyalty to the king.

Afterwards, the court magician, Merlin, came out.

He is a court magician, and at this time, he wants to make predictions about Britain's future in the hands of the new king.

Merlin stood in the center of the square, holding his staff.

Sitting cross-legged on the ground, Merlin soon stood up and spoke his prophecy.

"Britain will reach its peak in the king's hands."

Everyone immediately cheered, and the noisy voices covered the second half of Merlin's words.

"They will also perish in the hands of the king."

Only Annuo, who was by Arthur's side and had excellent hearing, captured these words.

With his brows furrowed, Anno really wanted to ask Merlin now why Britain would perish, but it was obviously not appropriate now that it was a coronation ceremony.

Arthur took the scepter and medal from the hand of the maid.

The sword, crown, scepter and medal are the best status symbols of the British King.

An oil painter painted quickly just to preserve this historic moment. Afterwards, King Arthur's coronation portrait will be hung in the underground palace of the Royal Court of Camelot, together with the portraits of King Uther and other previous kings.

Waiting for future generations to pay homage.

King Arthur in the oil painting is painted slightly older, but looks more majestic and imposing. This step is necessary.

After the oil painting was finished, the servants put away King Arthur's scepter and medals, and King Arthur himself needed to take his ministers and several representative nobles to the church in the royal city of Camelot.

After being blessed by the Pope, the coronation ceremony is officially concluded.

At the end of the day, Arthur was very tired and exhausted.

That night, Annuo found Merlin and asked many things.

Inside the small castle outside Camelot.

Morgan le Fey called for his son, Arguevin.

Agguiwen looks slightly sinister and wears a black plate armor.

"Mother." Agguiwen saluted expressionlessly.

He respects his mother very much, but does not have much affection for her.

"My son, Aguewen." Morgan le Fey murmured, "Now that King Arthur, my dear brother, has been crowned king, we have no chance."

Agguiwen did not answer the call, but quietly waited for the next message.

"Since I have no chance of that position, then let's destroy him." Morgan Le Fey said with hatred on his face, "It's up to you, my son, Aguen."
