Chapter 70 Special fruit wine with magic

It was already evening, and Arthur was alone in the room handling some affairs.

At the door, Morgan took stock of the situation in the room, and then checked to see if there was anyone around.

After making sure it was safe, she took off her hood and veil and walked into Arthur's room.

Arthur noticed someone coming in and looked up, thinking it was his wife Guinevere, but found that it was his sister Morgan le Fey with whom he rarely communicated.

She couldn't help but be confused, but out of courtesy, she stood up and bowed slightly: "Good day, Sister Wang."

"Good day, my sister, my king." Morgan Le Fay looked uncharacteristically enthusiastic, with a hint of red in her face, but it was not very visible under the light of the setting sun.

Arthur looked at this face that was very similar to his and felt a little uncomfortable. However, since his sister was willing to come to him and her attitude was not as stiff as before, she must have wanted to have a good relationship with him.

The relationship with Sister Wang has always been a worry for Arthur.

She walked out from behind the table with a smile, and her tone was brisk, as if the fatigue of dealing with government affairs was gone: "Sister Wang, do you have anything to do with me at this time?"

Morgan Le Fay smiled softly: "You have recently formed the Knights of the Round Table. I see that you have worked too hard, so I wanted to come and see you."

As she spoke, she took out the things she had brought.

"A piece of bread and a glass of fruit wine. I hope you can give yourself a break." Her face showed an expression of concern and regret at the right time, as if she was a sister who really cared about her sister.

Bread is just ordinary bread, and fruit wine is Morgan's real purpose.

It was a bottle of wine mixed with a potion, a potion specially made for Arthur for Morgan le Fey's plan to destroy Britain.

Arthur responded with a relaxed smile: "Thank you, Sister Wang, for your concern."

Morgan nodded and said goodbye: "Then, I will leave first and pay attention to my body."

With that said, he walked out of the room.

Arthur scratched his head, was he just giving himself food?

She sat back on her seat, picked up the bread, smelled it, broke off a piece, crushed it, and looked at the crumbs.

It was not poisonous, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Although he wanted to build a good relationship, Arthur still had a basic sense of caution.

After putting down the bread, Arthur picked up the fruit wine, poured a drop of it on the table, and quietly watched it evaporate.

Arthur also checked the traces left behind, and they were also non-toxic.

It seems like it's really just a meal delivery.

Arthur relaxed and thought about whether he was under too much pressure. He began to think wildly, and even Sister Wang began to doubt it.

Morgan le Fey used the magic of invisibility outside the door to observe everything secretly, with a sinister smile on his lips.

Magic power is not poison, and she has controlled the amount of magic power to a perfect dose that is both imperceptible and effective. Unless Merlin comes, it is impossible for others to notice it!

So now, please drink this special drink, my sister...

Arthur didn't feel poisonous, and she was really busy during this period. Looking at the bread and fruit wine, her stomach rang.

After looking at the paper recording the affairs and then at the food, Arthur swallowed.

Anyway, it was sent by Sister Wang, so I didn’t have any bad intentions. I was hungry myself, so...

Arthur stuffed his stomach with three bites of bread, and drank the fruit wine in one gulp.

Morgan outside the door was so excited that he couldn't control himself.
