Chapter 71 Arthur Morgan

Guinevere looked for the path of the shadow, but found no one.

She came to the room where King Arthur handled government affairs, but found that Arthur was not in the room, the chair had fallen behind the table, and the furnishings were messy.

There was an empty basket on the table with a few crumbs and an empty cup in it.

"Weird..." She picked up the cup and smelled it. There was a fishy sweet smell inside.

Guinevere began to be afraid.

She forced herself to calm down and found that there were a few strands of hair left on the table, and although the color was golden, it was slightly dry and pale.

This was not Arthur's hair. Someone else had entered this room. Guinevere suddenly woke up.

"Going to find the Knights of the Round Table... No way." Guinevere thought of those powerful and brave knights, but she gritted her teeth and decided to find Arthur on her own.

This is a secret from the royal family, and it may even be a scandal, so we won’t tell the public for the time being.

She walked out of Arthur's office and looked for Arthur who was missing in the royal court.

Guinevere could not find Arthur anywhere in the meeting hall where the round table was located, in the restaurant where the banquet was held, or in the garden outside the royal court.

But in the end, she found Arthur in an unexpected place.

That was her and Arthur's bedroom.

There was movement in the room. For the sake of safety, Guinevere did not choose to open the door of the room. Instead, she opened the door to a gap and leaned her face to observe the situation inside the door.

But the next second, her pupils contracted, her mouth opened wide, a drop of cold sweat flowed from her forehead, showing an expression of disbelief.

There was a person lying on the bed in the bedroom, his own king - Arthur.

There was another person standing beside the bed, with his back to the door. Guinevere recognized who that person was from his profile.

The woman who is 70% similar to Arthur is naturally Arthur's half-sister, Morgan le Fey Pendragon.

Morgan mixed the potion into the fruit wine and tricked Arthur into drinking it. The effect of the potion was to cause Arturia's fundamental changes to occur within a period of time.

This change is a necessary step to collect pheromones from hair and blood.

After that, it was Morgan Le Fey who collected Arthur's hair and blood.

Morgan Le Fey didn't quite know why he did this. His feelings for the other person in his heart were obvious and twisted hatred, but due to some strange combination of circumstances, things like this happened.

She glanced at the door with cunning eyes, smiled, bent down, and hid the tweezers and bottle in her hand from Guinevere.

At the door, Arturia, Arthur's wife, sat beside the door with tears streaming down her face, covering her mouth and nose to prevent herself from making a sound.

Arthur betrayed her, this was her only thought now.

She loves and misses Arthur so much...

She stood up wordlessly and left the place.

Morgan Le Fey noticed the movement at the door disappeared and showed a vague smile.

She moved quickly and did not continue to pretend, but used tweezers to quickly collect tissue.

The parts of Artoria's body that shouldn't exist turned into points of light and disappeared.

Morgan got out of bed and covered her sister with the quilt.

He walked to the door and looked at the small bottle in his hand. A drop of blood and a hair lay quietly inside.

She looked back at Artoria, who was sleeping soundly.

Finally, she walked out of the room as if she had never been there.
