Chapter 73 The war is about to begin

Arthur sat at the head of the round table, his face calm, thinking about something.

Something definitely happened last night.

But why doesn't Guinevere want to tell me?

The one with a more gloomy expression than Arthur was Lancelot.

He made his request to Arthur: "King, I hope you can ban me from my position as a diplomatic officer between the Kingdom of Britain and the Kingdom of Fisher."

Arthur stopped being distracted and thought about Lancelot's request: "Can you explain the reason, Sir Lancelot?"

Lancelot sighed: "Forgive me for keeping this matter secret, King." After saying that, he lowered his head.

"Is that so..." Arthur sighed. Why did she feel that she was more tired and uncomfortable after the establishment of the Round Table?

She pinched the bridge of her nose and put her hands on the table: "Then regarding this proposal, all the knights present, please express your opinions."

During the period when there was no war, Anno basically helped the king with government affairs in the royal city of Camelot. He thought about it and decided to support his son: "I support Lancelot's proposal."

As Arthur's deputy, Agguiwen did not want to get too involved in the personal affairs of the knights: "I will not express my opinion and abstain from voting."

As a close friend who fought with Lancelot in the inhuman realm, Gawain supported Lancelot: "I agree."

Bedivere pays attention to etiquette: "Diplomats from other countries cannot change unexpectedly or object."

After the knights all expressed their opinions, excluding Lanmarlock and Bowes who were not present, a total of four votes were in favor, two were against, and one abstained.

Lancelot breathed a sigh of relief.

"Then, the parliament will decide to ban Lancelot and Fisher from their positions as diplomats of the Kingdom. We will discuss who will succeed them." Arthur cleared his throat and raised the most important issue today.

"Well, gentlemen, the Knights of the Round Table have been established for seven days. It is time to discuss the main purpose of the establishment of the Knights."

Hearing this, all the Knights of the Round Table sat up straight, even Lancelot, who was agitated today.

The most important and ultimate goal of the Knights of the Round Table is war.

War is for more resources, more land, and more people.

Anno, as the oldest and most prestigious knight, pointed to the simplified map and expressed his opinion: "We can take a boat from here to the Isle of Man, and then land in Ireland from this bay."

"The Isle of Man can also be used as a transfer station for supplies."

Arthur nodded: "I will negotiate with the king of the Kingdom of Marne."

The topic of war was discussed for a long time, and the meeting finally adjourned before lunch.

Back at his residence, Anno asked Lancelot: "Did something happen, Lancelot?"

"Father..." Lancelot couldn't say it. As a member of the Round Table, he was so careless that he was knocked down with anesthetic by a princess from another country, and he also had an illegitimate child outside. This is really...

Anno saw that Lancelot was in a bad mood: "You calm down your emotions first. If you want to say something, you can come to me at any time."

"I understand, father..." Lancelot walked out of the house in a daze.

He wanted to go out to relax and get some fresh air, and for some reason he came to the garden outside the King's Court of Camelot.

He looked at the magnificent royal court, and unconsciously thought of his own king, and then of the despicable Princess Elaine.

"I really..." He sat slumped on the grass.
