Chapter 89 Postoperative

Chapter 89 Postoperative

When Sang Xiaoyu woke up, Jiang Chunhui was standing at the head of her bed. Sang Xiaoyu saw that she had sling bottles in both hands. She said it felt like she had slept.

Her attending doctor, Dr. Hua, came and checked her condition. He said that after a few days of rest, she would be fine, but she couldn't have so many people accompanying her and she needed to get enough rest.

Jiang Chunhui immediately gave instructions and told the rest to leave quickly.

The Cheng family outside the door was very angry when they heard this. Cheng Weiting said: "Who do you think is an idler? We are her family."

Jiang Chunhui said towards the door: "You are the family members who caused her to suffer. If I were you, how could I still have the honor to see her?"

Sang Xiaoyu weakly pointed at Jiang Chunhui and said: "If you talk like this again, you will be the first to leave... I don't have you as a friend, they are all my closest family members..."

Jiang Chunhui immediately stopped talking, and the doctor frowned and said, "Can you guys be quiet for a while? She is a critically ill patient, and she is only out of danger now."

When Dr. Hua arrived at the door, he glanced at Cheng Weiting and asked, "Are you hers..."

Cheng Weiting glanced at Dr. Hua strangely and said, "I am her sister-in-law, what's wrong?"

Dr. Hua felt a little unnatural and said, "It's nothing, but don't make any noise here. She needs to rest well."

Cheng Weiting said dissatisfied: "Am I the one who wants to make a noise?"

Dr. Hua said a little boringly: "Go on, I was wrong."

Cheng Weiting felt that this man was too incomprehensible, so she gave him a fierce look.

Fortunately, a group of people came to the door.

The medical team headed by an expert came in, and the expert asked her how she was feeling. The tone sounded like a mother's greeting.

Sang Xiaoyu nodded vigorously, and the expert said some more precautions and led the people away.

Just then, there was a commotion at the door.

Sang Xiaoyu asked anxiously what happened?

Jiang Chunhui ran out.

It turned out that Sang Xiaoyu’s mother and child were here.

The first thing they saw was not Sang Xiaoyu, but Cheng Weize standing at the door.

Sang Xiaoyu's mother didn't believe her eyes. When she was sure that the man in front of her was Cheng Weize, her anger suddenly burst out. The grievances and disasters her daughter had suffered in the past few years seemed to be caused by this man.

She couldn't help but slap him twice.

Cheng Weize was tall and even lowered his face to let her slap her hard, but Cheng Weiting stopped. Her sister went home and told her parents the news, leaving her alone.

She stepped forward to stop Sang Xiaoyu's mother's behavior and said, "Auntie, stop hitting her. He knew he was wrong and he was willing to change it."

Cheng Weize, on the other hand, refused to let her take care of it. He said that he wanted to give the old man enough beatings, as he owed it to everyone.

The doctor quickly stopped him.

Only now did Sang Xiaoyu know that her husband, who had disappeared for nearly four years, was back.

Sang Xiaoyu was a little excited and had mixed feelings. When she looked at the door, Cheng Weize happened to look inside. Sang Xiaoyu's eyes immediately turned red, and so many past memories came to her mind at this moment.

The doctor asked everyone to leave, leaving only his family behind.

Cheng Weize rushed in, knelt down in front of Sang Xiaoyu's bed, and said with difficulty: "Xiaoyu, I have suffered so much for you these years."

Sang Xiaoyu immediately burst into tears. She turned her head to prevent her tears from being exposed to everyone. When she turned back, she was much calmer. She said, "You all should go, I want to talk to my mother and son."

As soon as Sang Xiaoyu finished speaking, Zhao Chunling immediately drove everyone out, except Jiang Chunhui.

Cheng Weize refused to leave. He said there were too many things he wanted to say to her, and he was particularly thinking about his son.

Cheng Ziqiao hid behind his grandma in fear, looking at his father whom he was no longer familiar with out of the corner of his eyes. Four years later, amidst his grandma's curses, his recognition of this father had changed beyond recognition.

Sang Xiaoyu said: "You all go first. I want to talk to my mother and children. We have a long time."

Seeing that Jiang Chunhui didn't want to leave, Sang Xiaoyu said, "You can go too. You've been busy these days. Take a good rest and come back in two days."

Jiang Chunhui looked at Sang Xiaoyu's mother, nodded and said, "If you need anything, just call me. You don't have to worry about the expenses. I've already arranged all the doctor's matters."

Sang Xiaoyu nodded.

She then said to Cheng Weize: "You should go first. Just come back. Go home quickly. My mother-in-law and father-in-law have been talking about you every day these years..." She also asked Cheng Weiting to leave.

Cheng Weize glanced at his son and said, "Ziqiao, do you really not know dad anymore?"

Cheng Ziqiao kept secretly looking at his father, not daring to recognize him. Cheng Weize called him when they were outside, but he was held tightly by his grandma.

Ziqiao said nothing and kept looking at his mother's face. Sang Xiaoyu said to Cheng Weize, "Don't worry, this is not something that can be solved in a day or two. It will be fine."

People left one after another, and Zhao Chunling said she went to the street to buy something.

There were only three of them left in the house.

Sang Xiaoyu's mother originally wanted to scold Cheng Weize, but seeing Sang Xiaoyu's pale face, she took out the soup she had cooked and let her daughter drink it.

Sang Xiaoyu said that she could not eat now and would have to wait for a while, and told her mother that her operation was particularly successful.

Mother said: "That man named Jiang Chunhui is really kind to you. If it weren't for him, we would..."

Sang Xiaoyu nodded and asked Ziqiao some things about his studies.

Seeing that Sang Xiaoyu looked very tired, her mother was about to leave. Finally, she couldn't hold it back and asked her how she would treat Cheng Weize. She also said that if she wanted to get back together with him, she wouldn't be a mother like her.

Sang Xiaoyu said it was impossible. Even if he was as rich as anyone in the country, she would not choose him.

The mother still laughed out loud, saying that he was the only one who was rich enough to rival the country. His virtues were not that good.

Sang Xiaoyu left her mother behind, mainly to reassure her. Ziqiao held Sang Xiaoyu's arm and asked when he could go home. Sang Xiaoyu said it would be soon, and also said that he would take Ziqiao out to play when he had a holiday.

I will never break my promise again.

When Zhao Chunling came back, her mother asked her to drink the soup. Zhao Chunling took two sips and said it was so delicious. Her mother happily said that she would bring her share next time.

Seeing no one around, Sang Xiaoyu asked strangely, why didn't Li Junhao come? It's okay that he didn't come during the operation, but why hasn't he come now? He didn't even make a call.

Zhao Chunling shook his head and said, "There must be something wrong. I think he is really nice to you. I don't know about this. I haven't gone home. Does my Uncle Li hate Mr. Jiang very much?"

Zhao Chunling only called Li Junhao uncle, but Li Junhao had to admit it after protesting several times to no avail.

Sang Xiaoyu asked in confusion: "Why does he hate others?"

Zhao Chunling said without hesitation: "They are love rivals."

Sang Xiaoyu became angry and said quickly: "Don't talk nonsense. He is very kind to his wife. When did he become a love rival?"
