106. Strange talk game

"[Hundred People One Song]? What kind of game is it?"

Lu Tan glanced at Tachibana Masamune.

On the surface, he still looks like a human, but the two eyes are not very human, but are made up of countless smaller eyes. Tachibana Masamune's eye sockets are like the compound eyes of an insect, which makes people feel disgusted when they see it.

Hongye was stunned for a moment, but still stood where he was.

Lu Tan calmly pulled her down and sat next to him.

"[Hundred People One Piece] is a ghost story game popular in Wanda. Everyone stands in the corner of a dark room, holding a candle in their hand, and then starts from the first person to blow out the candle, closes his eyes and walks along the wall.

The next person, while walking, recite a Japanese song, then tap the other person's shoulder and ask the other person to pass the flame of the candle to you. Then the second person blows out the candle and continues walking down the same way as the first person."

Tachibana Masamune's dense eyes looked at Lu Kanda and Hong Ye. Lu Kanda could feel that Hong Ye beside him was nervous for a moment, but he quickly adjusted himself.

According to Hongye, the more you understand something and the more knowledge you gain, the less likely you are to be affected by obstacles.

Before, Lu Kan and Momiji looked at Tachibana Masamune and the others, who were at least still human beings. Now that they have experienced the incident at Wajima Shrine, they seem to have a deeper understanding of the world, so they can see more things.

Thinking about it this way, the Son of God who sits in Wajima Taisha Shrine must know many things that are different from ordinary people. Is the world in her eyes more terrifying?

"What's the secret to this game?"

Lu Tiao asked casually.

This game mode is somewhat familiar to him, but the version he knows is more rudimentary, and there are extraordinary things in Wajima itself. I wonder what special effects these games will have?

"Well, it's said that if you recite the correct waka, you may attract the souls of the dead. A game originally played by four people will eventually find that someone is always reciting the waka, but candles are always lit in the four corners."

Tachibana Masamune's vast eyes glanced at the red leaves.

"And the reason why it's called [Hundred People One Piece] is because this game can be played by up to a hundred people. In a huge and empty environment, one hundred and one people will eventually appear!"

Yinping played with the folding fan in his hand, and the squirming flesh and blood trembled like a heartbeat.

"Shall we try?"

Lu Tran also took a look at the red leaves.

"?"

Hongye was stunned for a moment, and question marks appeared in his eyes.

This is obviously a problematic game, but don’t you think it’s dangerous to play with them who have turned into monsters?

Or does he want to get some information through the game?

After thinking for a moment, Hongye nodded slightly.

"Then let's play."

The four people took candles, closed the doors and windows, extinguished the lights, and stood in the four corners in the order of Tachibana Masamune, Ginping, Rikukan, and Momiji.

In the deep room, only the flickering light of candles illuminated the faces of the four people.

"Start with me."

Tachibana Masamune said something and then blew out the candle.

In an instant, the room became a lot darker. The personal candle could only illuminate the surroundings and could not see the scene further away. This was not normal, as if it was bound by some power beyond human understanding.

"In the lonely empty mountains, the winter solstice is even more desolate. When you look up, the people are far away, and you can see the white grass."

Tachibana Masamune recited the Japanese song in a strange accent and a voice mixed with gibberish, which echoed in the silent room like an eternal call.

After waiting for a while, Lu Tan saw that next to Yinping, in the shadow of the candlelight, a hand suddenly stretched out and patted his shoulder gently.

Tachibana Masamune appeared next to Yinping, and he seemed to be a little alienated. The skin on his body was cracked, and underneath the cracks was red flesh.

Ginpei lit the candle to Tachibana Masamune, then blew out his own candle and disappeared into the candlelight in the corner.

"The loneliness is unbearable..."

Lu Tan turned his head and looked in the direction Yin Ping was walking towards. He couldn't see anything next to the dark and deep wall, only Yin Ping's vague voice could be heard.

The edge between the area illuminated by candlelight and the dark area is ambiguous, as if the weak candlelight in your hand will be swallowed up at any time.

"Go out of the nunnery and look at the sky..."

Yin Ping's voice came from the side, and Lu Tan concentrated on waiting for his arrival.

But the sound always felt like it was neither far nor near. It was within easy reach of Lu Tiao, but it never came close.

"Everywhere is desolate..."

The chanting sound like a whisper sounded in Lu Tan's ears, and he couldn't help but turn his head, because just now, Lu Tan clearly heard that the sound came from his right, that is, from the direction of Hongye.

But only Hongye, who was holding a candle, looked at him with a serious expression.

Lu Tiao then looked to the left.

A face was right in front of him.

"Autumn dusk is chilling..."

Hearing this voice coming from Yin Ping's mouth, Lu Tiao felt his heart skip a beat.

He passed the candle's fire to Ginpei, then blew out the candle and walked towards the red leaves.

Darkness enveloped Lu Tiao, and the surroundings were silent. Lu Tiao turned around and saw the ferocious Yinping holding a candle, standing in the corner. He also saw Tachibana Masamune in another corner, also holding a candle, like a stone statue.

Stand there.

Lu Tan turned his head and looked ahead.

He suddenly remembered something.

It's said to be a song for hundreds of people...but I don't even know what Japanese poetry is!

These things are not included in the knowledge he has learned.

A bit embarrassing.

"Why don't you turn on the lights now and say sorry to everyone, I'm uneducated and don't understand Waka?"

Lu Tan thought to himself, this is too embarrassing.

He closed his eyes, slowed down and continued moving forward, when suddenly an idea struck him.

"The bright moonlight in front of the bed..."

Anyway, Japanese songs and ancient poems are similar, so memorizing two of them on the spot should be no problem.

As soon as Lu Jian opened his mouth and closed his eyes, he felt that the surroundings were getting darker.

Only in front of him, the red-leaf candle shone faintly in front of his eyes, guiding the direction.

"It's probably frost on the ground..."

Lu Tan continued to walk forward. According to his feeling, he should have walked halfway. He subconsciously raised his hand to hold on to the wall on the right, but he missed it.

"?"

Lu Tan stretched out his right hand, but it never touched the wall.

He even moved a little to the right.

"I was walking against the wall at first, and I shouldn't have changed direction in the middle. Why is the wall gone now?"

Lu Tan thought secretly.

"Is it okay to just go straight ahead?"

He stepped forward, wanting to open his eyes, but still tried hard to restrain such thoughts.

"Look up at the bright moon..."

When Lu Tan read the third sentence, he felt that the surrounding environment had changed.

A gust of cold wind blew from behind, making Lu Tiao's skin crawl.

How could there be wind in this house with closed doors and windows?

And this wind is not like a natural wind, but more like... someone blowing air behind you?

He speeded up his pace slightly, wanting to end this section of the road as soon as possible, but at this time, Lu Tan realized something was wrong.

"I've been walking for so long, why haven't I arrived at Hongye yet?"

Lu Tiao continued to walk forward and was almost running.

But this road seems to have no end, and the end cannot be reached.

The walls, the room, everything seemed to have disappeared, and Lu Jian felt as if he had entered a different space.

Lu Tan calmed down and slowed down, realizing that he only had two choices.

First, open your eyes and confirm the situation.

Second, continue reading this poem and then read the rest.
