To become a true immortal, in addition to converting the true energy in the body into immortal energy, casting the innate Taoist body, purifying the soul, unifying the three, and achieving the supreme immortal foundation, there is another aspect that needs to be paid attention to, and that is the state of mind.
There are two very famous poems in Zen Buddhism: one is "The body is like a bodhi tree, and the mind is like a mirror stand. Always brush it diligently to prevent it from causing dust."
One of the poems is: "Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing in the beginning, so how can it cause dust."
The last poem, Taixuan, has reached the realm of "Mountains are mountains, mountains are not mountains; water is water, water is not water." People who are new to spiritual practice simply cannot do it, so they must start from the realm of the first song.
Only after you have fully understood it, and when the opportunity comes, can you understand the second song.
The only reason why you need to pay attention to your state of mind to become a true immortal is because immortals are mortals.
People who eat whole grains must have seven emotions and six desires.
Although you have already been able to escape from the valley after cultivating to this level, you must have some experiences before you become an immortal, some of which are often unforgettable. These things have been in your mind for a long time and you will forget them, but when the disaster comes, these things will be like movie reels.
, passing through the heart one by one, and finally turn into inner demons, impacting the soul. If you don't deal with it well, you will end up dead.
Therefore, when you become a true immortal, you will emphasize cultivating your mind.
The first poem of Zen Buddhism regards the mortal body as a bodhi tree and the mind as a mirror stand.
Wipe it when you have time to avoid it being covered by dust and causing imperfections in your mood. It is similar to the Confucian saying "I should examine myself three times a day."
The method of cultivating the mind is not a secret in various sects, but many people spend their time cultivating and strengthening their own skills, and rarely practice the way of the soul. Only some elders who pay more attention to it will emphasize it from time to time.
The main realms of mind cultivation are: stopping thoughts, listening to the breath, and sightseeing.
Needless to say, cessation of thoughts is the removal of distracting thoughts.
After getting rid of distracting thoughts, there is listening to the breath, that is, entering into silence.
The way to listen to the breath is to stay focused and calm. It is required that every exhalation and inhalation are completely natural. Listen with both ears and eliminate all interference from the outside world. It is like entering a state of complete silence and listening to your own breathing. Over time,
Nature is always quiet. In the end, the mind and breath are intertwined, distracting thoughts disappear, and even breathing does not feel like it exists anymore, that is, entering the state of tranquility.
Sightseeing is a refinement of one's nature. It is a real and illusory world. If it is real or imaginary, if something exists it seems like nothing. It is intentional or unintentional. It is very mysterious.
To practice this method, you need to visualize nothingness with your mind.
The land of nothingness was empty and extremely quiet. Suddenly one day, a little bit of light appeared, which was the light of the soul, that is, the light of the soul. At first, it was drifting and extremely weak. As the time of visualization became longer, the light became smaller.
It increases and starts to spread out. At this time, you should use your mind to collect it and turn the virtual light into substance. After that, visualize that there are more and more substantial light spots, and they gradually gather into a group.
Yuantuo, the light is shining brightly.
Since then, the light of nature has been perfected, and all evils cannot invade, and it is difficult for all demons to enter. However, there are very few people who can reach this state.
The way of listening and sightseeing seems easy, but is actually difficult.
Although listening to the breath is called listening, there is actually no listening; although sightseeing is called sightseeing, there is actually no watching. Listening is breathless, and breathing is listening to nothingness; sightseeing has no light, and light watching is nothingness. Breathing without breath is called true breath.
; Light without light is called true light, and it is true silence.
Therefore, there is no obstruction in the harmony, there is no leakage in the heart, and nothing can fall into it.
This is the realm of the second Zen poem of Zen Buddhism: "Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing in the beginning, so how can it attract dust."
If you want to cultivate to this level, you must engage in long-term hard training, and you don't know how many years and months it will take to achieve it. Gongliang can stop thinking, listen to the breath, and do some sightseeing, but he must reach the state of true tranquility with no leakage in his heart.
, it is estimated that it will be impossible to practice it in a lifetime.
In addition to this kind of hard training, there is another way to avoid the attack of inner demons when you realize the true immortality.
Enlightenment and true immortality cannot be achieved through hard work alone. You must also have the help of elixirs and elixirs. You must also take spiritual food on a daily basis to collect abundant spiritual energy and refine it for your own use. In this way, it is inevitable to come into contact with people. After being in contact for a long time,
There are human relationships, stories, and family. If these things are in your heart and you don't handle them well, when the disaster comes, they will turn into demons and come to kill you.
In the past, there was a powerful Taixu man who wanted to have a clear mind and avoid being taken advantage of by his inner demons when he became a true immortal, so he massacred his sect and killed all his relatives and friends.
I thought that this way I would be able to have a clear mind and not see my inner demons.
Unexpectedly, when the heavenly tribulation came, all the people he killed would turn into ghosts and come to collect debts. If they were not careful, they would turn into ashes and disappear from the world. It was also from then on that all the major sects began to pay attention to the cultivation of the state of mind.
What that man did was actually a demon. Since he was a demon, of course he would not die a good death.
No matter how stupid Gongliang is, he can't do this, but he has other ways.
In total, he has very few concerns. After all, he is not from this world, and he often looks at the world with the eyes of a bystander.
Just along the way, I have inherited a lot of favors. These favors are shackles and causes and effects. Some of them are deep and engraved in the depths of my mind. I thought I would forget them, but they will suddenly appear when I realize enlightenment and become an immortal, which will affect my state of mind.
A true immortal who has attained enlightenment will go against the will of heaven and be startled at every step.
Suddenly, the state of mind broke through, and the consequences were already doomed. Except for those with advanced cultivation, everyone else suffered either death or injury.
Gongliang is a deserter, and he was cared for by his tribe when he was in his ancestral land. After leaving his ancestral land, he passed through various tribes in the wilderness and received help from many tribes. When he arrived in Dayan, he just helped build the cave, not counting other things.
Favor.
Looking back on the past, Gong Liang discovered that he had received help from many people along the way.
Although after he joined the Miaodao Immortal Sect, the Great Desolate Hundred Tribes and the Desolate People also benefited, especially the Great Yan Tribe benefited a lot from this.
But there is no comparison between helping someone when they are weak and helping someone when they are strong.
Gongliang thought about it for a few days, and in order to put his mind at ease, to put aside his worries, and to thank the people who helped him along the way, he decided to return to Yanbu, the ancestral land, and make another trip from the Yanbu ancestral land to the temple to Dongtu.
Then on the way to the Miao Dao Immortal Sect, I will send my gratitude to the people who helped me, and then I will end the fruits of my kindness in this world.
For this purpose, Gongliang prepared something.
He has two places under his command, Xiawo Supermarket and Wangxialou, where the daily income is high. Spiritual stones usually flow into his pockets like water. Naturally, there is no shortage of spiritual stones. So these days, he has been purchasing on a large scale, all of which are some.
Something that doesn’t exist in the wilderness.
After preparing like this for about a month, Gongliang finally took the three sisters Jingshu and Mi Gu, Yuan Gungun, and Xiao Xiangxiang to the wilderness.
The sky is clear today, and the light blue sky is like a piece of flawless velvet, edged with a semicircle of gold.
The increasingly handsome golden-winged Dapeng eagle chick lowered its head from high in the sky to take a look, then fluttered its wings and flew away again. It has been wrapped around Gongliang's wrist, and Kuilong has never moved until he is about to leave the wilderness.
I couldn't help but raise my head and head towards the wilderness.
When Mi Gu saw his two raised heads, she was about to act mischievously. Unexpectedly, Kui Long was so naughty that he quickly retracted his head, making it impossible for her to catch him and play with him.
The little guy was so angry that he spat several times on Kui Long.
It's a pity that Kui Long's body was so slippery that his saliva didn't even stick to his body, and all of it fell to the ground.
As soon as Mi Gu saw it, he wanted to grab its body again, but Kuilong seemed to be sticking to Gongliang's hand and couldn't be caught no matter how hard he grabbed it. The little guy got angry, took out two small pumpkin hammers and started to beat the sky drum.
, Gongliang quickly stopped him, otherwise the little guy would have to cause some trouble.
The jade boat flew quickly, leaving a white line in the sky, and gradually flew away into the distance.
