Chapter 27: Tomb Crisis (Part 1)

Several birds flew freely in the warm sunshine, and one of them landed on the balcony guardrail. It cleaned its feathers with its beak, and its bright eyes saw the mess in the bedroom.

At this time, the white sheets on the ground suddenly moved, a hand stretched out from it, and then a man with a hot body crawled out with difficulty.

Liam was wrapped in sheets and leaning on the double bed. He didn't even have the strength to lift his arms due to last night's madness.

I never expected that for the first time after time travel, I would hand it over in such a confused way, and my heart was full of mixed emotions.

"Little Happy, you bastard, you said to wake me up first if there is an emergency, damn it." Liam cursed, raising his hand to wipe his forehead. This simple action caused soreness and pain in half of his body.

I casually released the low-level magic of "Wooden Man" to reduce the sensitivity of my muscles and nerves, and the pain got better.

Liam looked for clothes scattered everywhere, such as underwear hanging on the crystal lamp, socks hidden under the bed, and half a sleeve tucked into the seam of the wardrobe.

After finally gathering the clothes I wore last night, I found that they were all in tatters, so I had to throw them all away and put on brand new clothes from the closet.

Dressed neatly, I stood in front of the full-length mirror and trimmed my chicken-nest-like hair.

Looking around, Liam smiled bitterly and shook his head, "It's really crazy."

He started to clean up, throwing out the torn sheets, stacking the broken utensils in the corner, and pushing the double bed back to its original position.

Sitting on the bed, he opened the bedside table drawer and took out a silver cigarette box and a gold-plated pocket watch that had not been used for a long time.

I looked at the time, 10:30 am.

Liam left the bedroom and as soon as he came out, he saw Emily in a maid uniform busy.

"Emily." Liam walked over.

"Mr. Liam." Emily was startled, turned around quickly, and said respectfully.

"No need to be polite, you can find some maids to tidy up the bedroom later." Liam said in a soft tone. He saw that the other person's hair on the temples was a little messy and reached out to tidy it up for him.

This intimate gesture made Emily stand there, holding the corners of her clothes with both hands, her face flushed.

"Pay more attention to rest. The gray hair is coming out. If you can't finish your work, just tell others to do it. You don't have to practice everything yourself." Liam said with concern, gently smoothing the wrinkles of the other party's clothes and giving him a playful nod.

Put it on the other person's forehead.

"I order you to go home early today at noon and spend a leisurely and happy weekend with the old mayor watering the flowers and walking around."

After saying that, Liam waved and left.

Watching the other person's retreating back, Emily raised her hand and touched the forehead that was tapped by the other person's finger, with a happy smile on her face and murmured to herself, "Being with you is a happy weekend.

, not counting grandpa."

Which girl is not pregnant, but she doesn't know the person she likes.

Emily pushed open the bedroom door. She had never dared to think about entering the little Viscount's bedroom. Today she could go in openly and openly, and it was not impossible for the little Viscount to take her in in person in the future.

Such lustful thoughts completely disappeared after seeing the scene inside the house clearly.

Emily's sharp nose instantly smelled the scent of other women, and her heart suddenly stirred up a storm. She couldn't believe that someone actually got there first under her nose.

"Damn sneaky cat, don't let me catch you, otherwise you'll be spoiled for choice." Emily picked up the bed sheet, put it to her nose and inhaled hard for a few times. After remembering the other person's scent, she swore fiercely.

When Liam passed by the study on the second floor, he stopped specifically and listened for a while to see if there was any movement inside.

As usual, the study was very quiet.

He got on the carriage driven by Andrew and left the mansion.

It was only then that Liam had the time to check himself.

After a night of craziness, my body was very tired, but that was all. My spirit was high and my magic power was full, even vaguely reaching the intermediate level of a third-level magic apprentice.

Liam was greatly surprised. He closed his eyes and checked again. His heart was very complicated. "There is no need to meditate. Just one night of fun can increase my magic power several times. This..."

"The beloved of darkness, the most suitable creature for the dark moon, the best tonic for black magicians - night elves." Liam thought of the other party's purple eyes, pointed ears, and the strange magic lines on the skin of Angelica dahurica, with

Charm sounds and smells.

"How about this, this powerful tonic works well, right?" Little Happy appeared from the darkness and sat across from him with his legs crossed.

"Why the hell didn't you remind me last night?" When Liam saw the other party's snarling, he immediately got angry and raised his hand to hit him.

"She can improve your strength in a short period of time without any side effects. Why should I stop her?" Little Happy spread his hands, "Besides, it's not a sudden danger. Aren't you enjoying it too?"

"I..." Liam suddenly realized that he felt comfortable last night, but as a good young man in the new era, he could not accept this kind of in-depth communication without any emotional basis...

"It's not sweet to be forced. I must prevent this from happening again." Liam made up his mind.

"It's not sweet, but it quenches thirst." Little Happy smiled, staring at the other party with his pair of will-o'-the-wisps, "Although the night elves are a great tonic for black magicians, the effect is not so outstanding every time. The effect will be very good next time.

If it’s bad, it may even have no effect, so don’t put your mind on these evil ways, meditation is the right way.”

Liam glared at the other party and said to himself that you are the only one who talks nonsense. If he hadn't been too weak last night, he wouldn't have been taken advantage of by the other party and seized the high ground.

I don’t want to talk too much nonsense with the other person on this topic, “Where were you this morning.”

"Your followers are in danger." Little Happy raised his right hand that was missing his ring finger.

"Norcas?" Liam asked, his expression very calm.

Little Happy nodded, "Someone is openly rebelling and wants to change your poor little organization. They will be surrounded and killed this morning."

"Everyone who participated in the rebellion was arrested or killed."

"Fifteen people were killed and three were arrested. The specific situation is unclear." Little Happy spread his hands. Regarding the matter of human beings killing each other, it would hardly participate unless Liam ordered it.

Liam nodded, leaned against the car, opened the curtain, and looked out the window, "Why did Randall appear at the mouth of the well last night?"

"He has always been the old man's man, responsible for guarding the wellhead. More than half of your so-called "Dragon Tooth Knights" are the old man's minions."

"Including...him?" Liam tilted his head, alluding to Andrew who was driving.

Little Happy shook his head, "That's not the case for this stupid guy.".

Liam was relieved. If Andrew was the same, he would have to kill him immediately. After all, this trip was to Joshua's family cemetery. In Sean's letter, the secret was hidden in the grave.

The carriage drove through a sparsely populated mountain forest, and after crossing a small stone bridge, came to the cemetery that was overgrown with weeds and stood with rocks.

"You go to the river to feed the horses first, and then pick me up before dark." Liam said as far back as possible, for fear that the other party would arrive early and see something he shouldn't have seen.

Andrew nodded carelessly and drove towards the river.

The cemetery has been neglected all year round, with weeds growing up to the ankles, and the wind blowing through it is like ripples on the water.

Little Happy stood on Liam's shoulder and looked around.

"Did you find anything?"

Little Happy shook his head, "I don't see any difference."

Liam's eyes narrowed, and even the former King of Angels couldn't tell the clues. Is there really a secret hidden in this cemetery?

He took out the silver cigarette box, opened it, cleared the spiritual space, and held a small shovel between his two fingers.

"Sean said that this "Mandy's Styx Shovel" cannot be fully released, and you must be careful every time you use it." Liam reminded himself in his mind, injecting a small amount of magic power into it.

The Styx shovel immediately turned into a normal size. It was completely black, with obscure runes engraved on the surface. The end of the handle was inlaid with black diamond-shaped gems. There were serrations at the end of the shovel. Three eyes and a strange dotted line extending out were engraved on the back.

"Sean said that the Styx shovel can lead me to the secrets of the Joshua family." Liam didn't know how to use this sacred object, but since it is a shovel, it has nothing more than its function.

"Mandy's Styx Shovel" was inserted into the ground. Liam pressed it into the soil skillfully with his feet, and then injected a little magic power into it. "The Luoyang Shovel is also a shovel."

Strangely enough, there was still wind around, but when Styx shoveled into the soil, it suddenly became quiet.

Not only that, even the rustling insects had no movement, and the surroundings were eerily quiet.

Liam felt his feet vibrate, and when he looked down, a crack appeared, like an earthworm pointing from under the shovel to a tomb not far away.

"Found it so quickly?" Liam said in surprise. He lifted the shovel out of the soil, injected magic power into it, and with a thought, changed it back to the size of a toothpick, put it back into the cigarette box, and then used his spirituality to re-seal it.

He ran over and pushed aside the weeds along the cracks. Behind the tomb, he lifted up the wood covering it, and a dark wind blew out from inside.

The tomb has been emptied by rats, and a huge rat tunnel that can be entered by adults winds down to an unknown destination.
