Chapter 318 The Mystery of Jiuding

The Yellow River comes from the west and reaches Kunlun, roaring thousands of miles and touching the Dragon Gate.

The waves surged into the sky, and Yao sighed.

Dayu managed hundreds of rivers, and when his children cried, they would not peek into their homes.

Killing the turbulence and drowning the flood, silkworms and silkworms began to appear in Kyushu.

The harm is gone, and the wind and sand are at a loss.

The old man was mad and crazy, and he wanted to laugh at him when he came to the river in the morning.

Others would not hesitate to stop it, but the public would not cross the river and it would be difficult to cross it.

A tiger can be fought, but a river cannot be relied upon. A male fruit will drown in the Mekong River.

There is a long whale with white teeth like snow-capped mountains, hanging among them.

Konghou's sorrow was not returned.

——"The public does not cross the river" Li Bai

Based on the words about offering sacrifices to heaven and earth in the ruined stele, Bai Fu deduced the real secret of Xia Yu's Nine Tripods: the bronze Nine Tripods were not made by Dayu, but were accidentally discovered in the process of controlling floods!

According to textual research, when Dayu was controlling the great flood, by chance, he discovered eight huge bronze tripods in eight immortal mountains and rivers.

These eight bronze tripods have a mysterious pattern cast on the bottom of each tripod, and a huge unique symbol and eight landscape paintings are cast on the outside of each tripod.

After Dayu discovered these eight bronze tripods, he was overjoyed and thought they were a gift from God, so he asked the wisest white-robed elder in the Chong tribe for advice.

After the elder in white robe inspected the bronze tripod, he informed Dayu: "The mysterious pattern on the bottom of the tripod should come from the ancient star map. The huge unique symbols on the outside of the tripod are from the "Xiantian Yi" (Xiantian Yi) created by Fuxi based on the Hetu Luoshu.

Innate Bagua).

These eight tripods come from the ancient divine world and contain the mysterious power of Pangu to create the world. It is unknown why they are living in the world. The Bagua symbols represent the eight sources of power that make up the heaven and earth. If you can understand this power, mortals can also have the power of the gods to create the world.

Juli."

The reason why Dayu was able to successfully control floods later was that he obtained the source of the power of heaven and earth through the Bading Cauldron.

In order to help Dayu control the floods, the elder Baipao invited the seven wisest elders from the tribes in the world to join in retreat and study. However, after several years, they still could not understand the mystery of the bronze tripod.

Just when everyone had learned nothing and was about to return to their respective tribes, in order to thank the eight elders for their kindness, Dayu personally bid them farewell.

Dayu ordered his people to place eight bronze tripods according to the eight trigrams and fill them with fine wine so that everyone could not get drunk until they returned home.

That night, history books record, was the night when the "Po Jun Kill" comet was finishing its runoff, which was rare in a century, and the night sky was filled with stars.

When the eight bronze cauldrons were filled with fine wine, a breathtaking sight appeared. After the wine in the eight bronze cauldrons reflected the stars in the sky, the entire universe and time and space were projected in mid-air, reflecting the stars in the sky.

The eight elders had an epiphany and understood the mystery of time and space contained in the Eight Cauldrons.

Because Pangu's power could open up the world, the eight elders named the Tao they realized as Shennong's "Lianshan Yi" (Lianshan Bagua).

The mountains represent the creation of the sky and the earth, and the Yi represents the endless changes in time and space. The concrete representation is Yao, which opens up the sky in one stroke. The Yang Yao, integrated into one, shows the sky. The Yin Yao, divided into two parts, shows the land and water.

But the power of Pangu in Bading is too powerful and cannot be endured by all things in the world.

If humans, animals and beasts directly channeled Pangu's power, they would be like a giant waterfall flying down three thousand feet. Their blood would surge in an instant, and they would be wiped out in a moment.

In order to tame the power of the Bading Cauldron, the Eight Great Elders came up with a way to cast a new bronze cauldron containing human spirituality and guide the power of the Bading Cauldron into the new tripod.

The new tripod is engraved with the famous mountains and rivers of Kyushu, ghosts, spirits, and strange objects. It is embedded with mechanisms and is constantly rotating to tame the imported power of Pangu, making it like a river rushing into the sea, and then it becomes gentle and can be controlled by humans.

So on an auspicious day, Dayu led all the tribal leaders and eight elders in the world to kneel to heaven.

Use the gemstones of all tribes and clans in the world as the heart of the cauldron, use the blood of Dayu and the leaders of each tribe as the blood of the cauldron, use boys and girls, beasts and livestock as sacrifices, and use the souls of the eight elders as the soul of the cauldron, injecting human wisdom and spirituality into it.

The newly cast ninth bronze tripod.

After the eight elders finished casting the spell, they sacrificed themselves on the cauldron, and the ninth bronze cauldron was finally cast.

Through the Ninth Cauldron, Dayu lent to heaven the power of Pangu that created the world contained in the Eight Cauldrons to help mankind control all things, thereby moving mountains and reclaiming seas, and finally successfully controlled the floods that plagued the Central Plains.

Just when the people of the world are enjoying peace, the Ninth Cauldron, due to the infusion of human wisdom, spirituality and blood, not only possesses human wisdom, but also possesses human personality, and has inherited human cruelty and selfish desires.

After possessing this epoch-making power, the Ninth Cauldron never wanted to return the power of Pangu lent to heaven, and expected to lead the other eight cauldrons and always have the power to summon the gods.

The Ninth Cauldron extended its evil hand to Dayu, deeply affecting Dayu's mind. Dayu was no longer as gentle and courteous as when he was controlling the water, and slowly began to swell, full of selfish desires like the Jiuding.

Dayu used the power of the Eight Cauldrons to control all things, unified the tribes, and established the Xia Dynasty.

Dayu ascended to the top of power, and after tasting the bloodthirsty taste of power, he was no longer willing to share power with others.

In order to let his descendants have the power of Pangu for thousands of generations, Dayu gritted his teeth, abolished the abdication system of the Yao and Shun era, and passed on the bronze Jiuding, "Lianshan Yi" and the Xia Dynasty throne to his son Qi.

What you borrow must eventually be repaid.

Fast forward hundreds of years, I don’t know in what era, the "Lianshan Yi" which recorded the secrets of Jiuding was lost.

The kings of the Xia Dynasty did not know the true purpose of the Nine Tripods. They just followed the ancestral teachings and regarded the Nine Tripods as a national treasure to ward off evil and bring good luck. They concentrated them in the capital of the Xia Dynasty and displayed them outside the palace gates.

Without the protection of Jiuding, Xia Jie, the last king of the Xia Dynasty, went on an extortionate expedition and brought disaster to the world.

In order to save the world, Bading reappeared in the world, guided Shang Tang to realize the secret of Bading, drove away Xia Jie, and founded the Shang Dynasty.

After Shang Tang destroyed Xia, Jiuding was moved to his capital.

Shang Tang drew lessons from the fall of the Xia Dynasty and warned his descendants that they should govern the world with the benevolence of Yao and Shun instead of relying on the power of Pangu, the Eight Cauldrons, to rule the world by force. Otherwise, the laws of heaven are impermanent, and God will withdraw the power of Pangu again. In this way, Shang Tang

The morning is lazy.

After Pan Geng, a descendant of Shang Tang, established his capital in Yin, Jiuding moved to Yin.

According to Shang Tang's will, Pan Geng burned all the human fragments that recorded the secrets of the Eight Cauldrons that Shang Tang realized, and offered sacrifices to heaven, returning Pangu's power to heaven, thereby establishing the six hundred years of prosperity of the Shang Dynasty.

Because Pan Geng re-hidden the secret of the Eight Cauldrons in heaven and earth, later generations named the ultimate way of heaven and earth discovered by Shang Tang as Xuanyuan's "Gui Zang Yi" (Gui Zang Bagua).

This is recorded in the remaining inscriptions on the stele.

There are still many mysteries yet to be solved:

Will the power of Pangu, the Eight Cauldrons, never reappear in the human world?

What is the fate of the Ninth Cauldron that influenced Dayu's mind? Was it also sealed together with the Eight Cauldrons?

Is the "Book of Changes" introduced by King Wen of Zhou related to the mystery contained in the Bading?

When did these nine bronze tripods disappear from the world?

Bai Fu couldn't figure it out, and he probably had to continue rummaging through the pile of old papers in the library of Hongwen Hall to find the answer.

Bai Fufei jumped up to the eaves, stood with his hands behind his back, leaned against the sea and the wind, and sighed at the moon!

All my life's fortunes came from the bronze tripod at the bottom of the Wuhou Temple. How could I not feel emotional?

What's even more amazing is that Zhuge Wuhou met the bronze tripod only once in his life. This chance meeting made Prime Minister Zhuge's magnificent life possible and his achievements for a long time to come.

And in just a few years, he actually encountered bronze tripods twice in Bashu. Such an opportunity is rare and unparalleled in the world.

However, although I saw the Xunding Cauldron in Netherworld Valley, I was unable to channel the power of the Sunda Cauldron. Looking back now, it is indeed a pity.

According to the record of the broken stele, as long as you meet one of the eight cauldrons, it will be an unprecedented opportunity. Did you not take advantage of it? Should you find an opportunity to return to the Netherworld Valley, summon the enlightened beast, and try again?

Just when Bai Fu was thinking hard, he forgot that besides himself, there was another person who also knew the whereabouts of Xun Ding. From the day he found out, he never forgot it and thought about it in his heart...
