Chapter 323 Fish Marsh Flying Beams

The guest will not be here for a long time, and the good scenery is reserved for you. I am admiring the west tower, why ask for more information? Arouse the bright moon in the day, shine on my arms full of ice and snow, and the mighty rivers. The whale has not swallowed the sea, and the sword energy has already crossed the autumn.

The wild light is floating, the sky is far away, and the things are secluded. Zhongzhou is full of hatred, I don’t know how many people will be sad tonight? Who cares about the old hero? If fame is not enough, decision-making will take a long time. This matter is too expensive to explain, and I will help you in the future!

——"Shui Tiao Ge Tou·Visiting Yuebo Tower with Uncle Ma" by Xin Qiji

Deng Bi, also known as Taoist Priest Qingxuan, deciphered more oracle bone writing than the great Confucian scholar of Luoyang.

Bai Fu thought to himself: "I don't know what chance master had that allowed him to recognize these words. Next time I see master, I must ask him carefully."

After Bai Fu memorized these oracle bone inscriptions, he returned to Prince Yin's mansion again to see if there were any new clues.

Under the personal intervention of Prince Qing Li Cong, the craftsmen of Prince Qing's Mansion worked particularly hard to renovate the completed mansion.

The weeds and wildflowers in the courtyard of the inner hall have been cleared away, and the copper water tank has been gilded again. Stone carvings of lions and tigers lie majestically in front of the Yanxi Palace.

The walls and pillars were painted with new paint, the eaves were replaced with new tiles, and the palace was replaced with brand-new furniture. The paint surface shines brightly.

What pleased Bai Fu the most was the management of the lake in the back garden. The servants cleaned up the fallen leaves and algae on the lake, and channeled it to the waterway of Qujiang River. After the live water was injected, the entire lake shimmered like a Western lake.

Bai Fu boarded the boat, rowed the oars, and enjoyed the tranquility and ease of the water and sky.

When he paddled to the center of the lake, the water was crystal clear and sand and gravel could be seen. Bai Fu couldn't resist the temptation and took off his long gown, leaving only his shorts on his body. He jumped into the water.

Ever since Kanding Zhenqi entered his body, Bai Fu has developed a special affection for water, like a child's attachment to its mother. Snuggling up in the water is like curling up in the mother's arms, feeling peaceful and serene.

At the same time, he also has a new ability: when he is in the water, the pores all over his body open and close, as if he can breathe in the water, and he can stay in the water for several hours without having to surface for breath. In the water, his strength also becomes extremely strong.

Big, cutting through iron and metal is like squeezing a ball of mud.

Bai Fu sank himself deep into the bottom of the lake and sat cross-legged on the sand and gravel. It was a quiet and private place, far away from the hustle and bustle. Zi Fu closed his eyes and silently practiced Xuan Gong. His Qi moved freely, walking through the eight meridians of his body and circulating around the world.

sky.

Bai Fu felt that his whole body was at peace, his mind was clear, and he forgot both things and me.

I don't know how many hours passed, but a sound of "rustling" woke Bai Fu from his meditation.

Bai Fu felt particularly sensitive in the water. Bai Fu raised his ears and tried to figure out his feelings.

After concentrating for a moment, Bai Fu was surprised: "If the perception is correct, the sound should come from the sound of digging underground. But Prince Yin's mansion has been abandoned for a long time, who would dig a tunnel here?"

There must be something fishy about this?"

When Bai Fu surfaced on the water, it was almost midnight. The sky was like a sky filled with stars.

Bai Fu hid in the bottom of the boat and pushed the boat to the shore. After landing, Bai Fu used his energy to evaporate the water on his body, put on his clothes, and sneaked back to the Yanxi Palace.

After searching one palace after another, I finally found a clue in Shoukang Palace.

Bai Fu lay down on the floor tiles and listened carefully. There was an extremely subtle sound of digging earth underground. If it hadn't been late at night, he wouldn't have been able to detect it with his own ears.

There was a "pop" sound, as if someone dug up a floor tile. The gilt copper water tank was gently moved away, and a dark hole appeared at the bottom of the copper water tank.

With two "whoosh" sounds, two men in black jumped out of the hole. One of them was short and lean, and the other was the same height, but slightly fatter. The eyes of these two people suddenly appeared in the dark night, like a green light.

Eyes of the raccoon cat.

The two of them came to the Uonuma Feiliang in front of the Yanxi Hall. The Uonuma Feiliang is located in front of the Yanxi Hall and is the main passage leading to the Yanxi Hall.

Uonuma is a large pond, so named because the pond is filled with seven-color koi. The water in the pond is connected to the lake in the back garden.

The flying beam is a cross-shaped bridge above the fish pond. The bridge spans the water and leads from the four sides to the central square platform. It is gentle in the front and back and steeper on the left and right, like a roc spreading its wings.

The word "flying beams" is quoted from "Ode to Ganquan" by Yang Xiong of the Western Han Dynasty: "The scenery has been reversed but the flying beams are gone".

After the bridge was built, it and the fish pond were collectively called the "Yu Yan Liang", also known as the fish pond flying beam.

Thirty-four stone pillars are erected in the pond. The stone pillars are covered with pan-type column foundations. The pillars are connected by beams and squares. The bracket structure on the stone pillars bears the bridge deck, just like the brackets of a house.

These thirty-four pier stone pillars are Panlong pillars.

"Panlong" refers to a dragon that has not ascended to heaven. Panlong pillars often appear on roof ridges, brackets or imperial roads. Panlongs in fish ponds are entrenched on bridge piers.

The dragon pillars are carved from a single piece of stone, with dragons entwined around the straight stone pillars, and tigers perched on the dragon's plate, guarding the place from a dangerous position, looking wild and majestic.

Especially when it rains heavily, the clouds in the fish marsh are filled with bright clouds, and thirty-four dragon pillars protrude from the ground, lifelike. The dragons seem to be able to summon the wind and rain, and will jump into the sky at any time to make waves.

The entire fish pond is decorated with ingenious flying beams, and it was also a scene of a mansion when it was built.

The capable man said to the other man: "Brother, the tunnel was dug here and a copper wall was dug. This copper wall is about several feet long and wide. It should be a secret room."

From the ground level, the secret room should be under the fish pond."

The slightly fat man nodded and said: "No wonder Emperor Taizong couldn't find the secret room after digging three feet into the ground. No one would have thought that the secret room would be underwater.

At most, they drained the fish pond to see if there was any treasure hidden in the pond. But they never imagined that there were caves within caves and secret chambers under the water.”

The capable man narrowed his eyes and said with a smile: "If someone hadn't been working on the mansion during the day, who would have sacrificed the distance for the near and relied on the tunnel to enter the mansion.

It seems that God helps me!"

The two men in black put on water props, held reed poles in their mouths, and dived into the water. They should have treasures such as luminous pearls, which can illuminate the water.

The two of them went up and down, exploring every dragon pillar in the water.

About an hour later, the slightly fat man found a winding and circling dragon. The dragon had a thin body, smooth lines, teeth and claws, a coiled neck, and a ferocious head.

The slightly fat man was overjoyed and said: "That's it!"

After saying that, he put his hand into the faucet, grabbed the dragon's tongue, and turned it to the right three times. Hearing just a few clicks of the hinge, the water in the fish pond quickly receded, and a hole the size of a tabletop appeared at the bottom of the fish pond.
