Chapter 71 Testimonials and Sanjiang's Testimonials
Chapter 71 Speech on the Listing and Speech on Sanjiang
It was a bit sudden, I also received the notice at short notice.
It looks like it will be available starting from today’s six o’clock update.
In fact, I felt a little uneasy and had mixed emotions.
It can be seen from the book review area that the lack of the word "Republic of China" in the title of the book has caused a lot of misunderstandings. Many people may just read the title or a few chapters and start criticizing me, saying that I am a "slave to support the Qing Dynasty"
.
My original purpose was to write the history of science and technology. The most explosive period in the history of human science and technology was not the early twentieth century, but it just happened to correspond to the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
I don’t know why many people cling to the “late Qing Dynasty” aspect.
I really couldn’t figure it out even if I jumped into the Yellow River. Although I explained it many times and even posted chapter explanations, many people may not have read the explanations I wrote and just preconceived the idea.
Originally, according to the title of the book "Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China", I can naturally think of the Qing Dynasty. So I can use a very objective attitude to examine this era, and there is no need to mix too much military and political issues.
This was originally a very good perspective.
However, in view of the many groundless insults that followed, it actually messed up the rhythm a bit, so I had to add a lot of subjective descriptions to the plot.
However, I decided to return to myself in the future and continue to write steadily, because in the future, I will be worthy of all the friends who subscribe.
Anyway, everything that needs to be explained has been explained. If there are still people who scold me just by looking at the title and the beginning of the book, I won't pay attention to it anymore.
As everyone knows, the history of science and technology is a niche history, and the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China were even more niche history.
I originally thought that I would become a niche within a niche, but I didn't expect that I would feel a bit like a negative.
And I really didn’t expect that so many friends would support me, and I would even be lucky enough to go to Sanjiang.
Really thank you friends for your support!!!
I am still a bit obsessed with history. You should have noticed that this book does not make assumptions, has no system, does not add points, and does not have the infinity of heavens. It follows a somewhat traditional route of historical writing.
But this is actually a bit tiring, because you can’t make it up randomly, and you must respect historical facts in everything you write.
So I wrote this article very seriously. The main text is 150,000 words, and the outline is almost 1.60,000 words.
There are countless kinds of information to consult.
My original intention is to hope that everyone will feel comfortable reading the book and also gain knowledge at the same time. I think this is what historical literature should be like. Otherwise, in terms of pure enjoyment, how can historical literature compare to fairy tales and fantasy.
So I am basically a research person, and I have consulted countless materials for many sentences.
Future updates will increase from the previous two chapters and 4,000 words per day to a minimum of two chapters and 6,000 words per day.
In short, it is on the shelves today. Brothers, please click to subscribe. It is already a great support for me!
If the total order exceeds 2,000, it will definitely need to be updated.
Of course, I am also very happy to be able to vote for the monthly vote. According to Jianghu tradition, after 200 monthly votes, you should add more ~ you must add more if you need to!
As for rewards, I don’t ask for them. I’m already satisfied by subscribing and voting!
At six o'clock, I will give you 10,000 words first. I hope you all enjoy reading it!
