1254Busy Qin Engineers

To deal with the large number of Qin troops scattered in the wilderness, the Air Force of the Tang Empire had its own relatively mature method.

They use guided weapons and ammunition to attack those command nodes that are discovered, and for those Qin troops congested on the road, they prefer to use cluster bombs to cover the attacks.

Of course, in the land that they are about to occupy, the Tang Empire will not use those strange fuses. They will use impact fuses that are easier to handle. Anyway, the attacks will only be on exposed living forces.

A large number of Qin army infantry will soon be covered and eliminated by such cluster bombs. After all, they are not guerrillas and cannot be too dispersed to avoid these bombs.

In the end, about 30,000 Qin soldiers died in the bombing, and about 50,000 soldiers were injured.

These troops eventually surrendered to the Tang Empire. The Qin army in the encirclement was divided and surrounded by the Tang army with little resistance, and was completely annihilated.

Of course, not all Qin soldiers were willing to hand over their weapons. Wang Luo and some Qin soldiers continued to fight in the encirclement for several days.

But at this time, the main force of the Tang Empire no longer paid attention to the collapsed Qin soldiers behind them.

Strauss's troops stayed to rest and recuperate, and were responsible for destroying the remaining enemies. Admiral Burton's troops immediately set off and launched an attack on Dongqing.

The armored troops of the Tang Empire advanced along the railway, but the Qin army resisted desperately and failed to stop the Tang army's advance.

In less than two days, Bolton's 1st Armored Corps reached the vicinity of Dongqing, while Qin's main force, led by Ying'an, was preparing to fight the Tang Empire in a bloody battle near Dongqing.

.

They really had no way out, because to the north of Dongqing was the Blackwater Oil Field. Of course, it was impossible for the Qin State to willingly hand over the oil fields in their hands to the Tang Empire.

On the other hand, the considerations of the top officials of Qin State are: they have been operating in Dongqing for at least several days, and have built some defense lines. Plus Dongqing City's bustling urban area, if it turns into a street fight, no matter what,

You can also delay it for a few days.

As long as they hold off, snowfall will come soon, and the Tang Empire's attack is likely to be blocked by the weather. Qin will have time and opportunity to strengthen its defense lines and drag the war into a confrontation stage.

Once the front line stabilizes, Qin can mobilize troops and generals to reinforce the front line. A stable defense line will make it easier to mobilize troops, allowing Qin to continue fighting the war in a way that is more suitable for its own pace.

Therefore, the order Ying'an received was: defend Dongqing, even if it loses part of the urban area, it doesn't matter. As long as it waits until snowfall arrives, Qin can stabilize the situation.

Ying'an thought the same way: he ordered his troops to build a defense line around Dongqing, occupy the houses in Dongqing City, and build barricades to prepare for a decisive battle with the Tang army.

This is the most familiar routine used by the Qin State to deal with the Tang Army: in previous wars, they dragged the war into street fighting and positional warfare in this way to offset the Tang Army's technological advantages.

Unfortunately, they seemed destined to fail this time: Burton commanded his army group to quickly bypass Dongqing from both wings. With good maneuverability, the Tang army surrounded Dongqing along the edge of the city.

As a result, Ying'an, who was stationed in Dongqing, was completely panicked. He never thought that the Tang army would give up street fighting and bypass the solid defense line he had built in the form of encirclement.

It seemed that the other side had lost interest in street fighting. The Tang Army's troops relied on good supplies and a large number of trucks, and had no intention of engaging in street fighting with the Qin Army who was well prepared.

On the other hand, the Qin army did not have the guts to go out of the city to fight in the field... The Tang Empire left enough troops to keep an eye on the Qin army who were dismounting. It was only at this time that these Qin troops began to experience the disasters that Wang Luo's army had experienced.

The Tang Army's armed helicopters took off from the newly repaired airport in Xiajian, and could easily participate in the battle near Dongqing.

At the same time, after simple maintenance, the field airport on the lower side can take off and land advanced attack aircraft such as Thunderbolts and Invaders - this must be praised by the engineers of the Great Qin Empire.

They were building a large airport for their TA-183 fighter jets, but who knew that just half of the time it was built, it would become a city controlled by the Tang Empire.

These engineers of the Qin State had no choice but to abandon the field airport that had been repaired 90% of the time, and evacuated there along with the large forces.

The irony is that these engineers did not escape in the end. The time they bought by not blowing up more than half of the airport they built was wasted on congested roads.

Now these engineers have become the main force in the construction of prisoner-of-war camps in the Tang Empire. They not only built prisoner-of-war camps, but also built field hospitals... After all, the Qin army had too many wounded.

The engineers of the Tang Empire repaired the field airport in Xiajian, then easily transported a lot of equipment by air, and directly transformed it into a large comprehensive air force base.

Not only can it take off and land Thunderbolt and Intruder attack aircraft, it can also take off and land J-7 fighter jets, Type 3 early warning aircraft, as well as various armed helicopters, transport helicopters, and Type 130 transport aircraft.

In short, the hard work of the Qin army in building the airport was regarded as a wedding dress for the Tang army, and this airport became the biggest support for the Tang air force to attack Dongqing.

Pilot Wang Hai patrols the airspace he is responsible for in his J-7 fighter jet. His aircraft has been improved and is the latest model that can launch two Thunderbolt air-to-air missiles.

Although the J-7 can only launch air-to-air missiles in combat and does not have beyond visual range attack capabilities, it is still the most powerful fighter in the world that can reach the sky.

This is indeed undisputed, because even if the F4 Phantom fighter jets equipped by the Navy are included, the J-7's air combat capabilities are still among the best.

The third-generation fighter that can completely crush the J-7 has not yet been manufactured. The Tang Empire is working hard to produce the SU-27 on the drawings. It is a "super third-generation" fighter worthy of mass production.

Compared with the fast-flying F-15, the aerodynamic design of the SU-27 fighter jet is obviously better. Moreover, its range is super huge and it has more room for improvement.

After all, Mao Xiong's poor electronic technology forced them to find ways to give the plane a huge nose and enough internal space to install their computer that was larger than a refrigerator and an old computer with a diameter of more than one meter.

radar……

As a result, after Rabbit mastered better electronic technology, the performance of the SU-27 and a series of subsequent improved fighter jets easily overwhelmed other opponents.
