1370The army going south

Originally the task of attacking into Shu was given to the 7th Army, but later the task of taking care of the new recruits was handed over to the 8th Army under the command of Luo Xiao.

The idle 7th Army is still preparing for war in Tang State, and now they finally have their mission.

According to the plan, the 7th Army commanded by Eric was ordered to go south and assemble at Nanshan Port to prepare for a large-scale cross-sea landing.

The code name of this battle is called rehearsal. The Tang army is preparing to land the 7th Army in Shu under the cover of the main fleet.

If the plan succeeds, the Tang army will attack Shu from the south and north at the same time, encircle Zhang Xuan's troops, and completely change the war situation.

After Eric received the order, he immediately issued the order to set off. The 7th Army began loading and maneuvering, and the troops of ten divisions of the 200,000-strong army began to advance south along the railway line.

Naturally, such a huge momentum could not be concealed from others, and Qin's intelligence personnel in Tang State learned part of the information.

Because the Tang Army's troops began to move south on a large scale, the railway lines and trains began to become tense. This information was summarized and sent directly to the senior officials of the Qin State.

Based on this information, the senior officials of the Qin State immediately deduced the direction of the Tang Army's action: Nanshan Port! Although they did not know that the Tang Army was preparing to board the ship at Nanshan Port, they knew that the Tang Army was dispatching troops to target Zhang Xuan.

It was already very difficult for Zhang Xuan to carry the Tang Army's 6th Army, but now there is an additional 7th Army, which will definitely not be able to withstand it.

In order to support Zhang Xuan, the Qin army also began to mobilize troops in a targeted manner: but they had too many places to defend, so many that no one thought the Qin people could block these holes.

Now the Qin army lacks troops in several general directions, and there is a risk of collapse at any time. The Qin army hoped to support Zhang Xuan's troops of about 200,000, but in fact it only gave him a few tens of thousands.

Sun Guang is also one of the top two in the coastal area. He really hopes to get some reserves. In his opinion, the Tang army may land in his jurisdiction at any time.

The area entering Shu is almost controlled by Luo Xiao, and the Tang army may move south in this direction at any time... Unfortunately, so far, the Qin army has not been able to gather forces to stop the Tang army's actions in this area.

Compared with the Tang army, which moved like lightning, the Qin army was really slow to the point of despair. But there was no way, the Qin State was like a slow-moving giant, and what stood out in front of the Tang State was a terminally ill man.

However, the other participating country did not choose to sit still and wait for death at this time. The Dorne Empire tried to find a way to bring its troops to the Western Continent to help its allies.

Because the naval fleet was almost completely wiped out, Dorne did not dare to blatantly transport across the sea, but their main focus was to do their best.

Dorne's maritime transportation was scattered and unorganized, and it was all about chance. One transport ship after another was discovered and sunk by the Tang army, but no matter what, some fish would slip through the net.

Just like Rommel when the Axis powers supported North Africa during World War II, a large amount of supplies would be sunk when passing through Malta, but the Axis powers still transported supplies and personnel to Rommel bit by bit.

Relying on the leftovers leaking from these fingers, the African Legion persisted for a while. The Dorne Empire was also doing similar things. They were trying every means to transport their troops and weapons and equipment to Qin.

The transport ships transporting supplies and equipment moved more casually, while the transport ships transporting personnel and troops moved more cautiously. Although the losses were considerable, Dorne still maintained contact with the Qin Empire.

Sun Guang received another shipment of supplies at his Qingluan Port, which was sent from Dorne. Qin was in urgent need of anti-aircraft guns and Gobel 5 tanks.

The performance of these tanks is still not very good, but Qin no longer has the ability to arm its coast guard with heavy tank equipment.

Part of the supplies delivered by Dorn solved an urgent need: the weapons and equipment disembarked from Qingluan Port did not need to be transported by the Qin State, saving valuable transportation capacity and production time, and became a life-saving straw in the direction of the Qin State's coast.

Sun Guang relied on such a small number of tanks to form an armored force, and also deployed some anti-aircraft anti-aircraft guns in many places.

He currently manages nearly a million troops, which seems like a lot, but the number of places that need to be garrisoned is frightening.

These troops were scattered over a vast area, and there was almost no way to assemble them: let's put it this way, even the past Shushan defense line was under Sun Guang's control. From this point of view, we know how big his jurisdiction was.

But such a large area has now become a sieve. With the pressure of the Tang Army to the north and the pressure of the Tang Navy to the south, Sun Guang's troops have become minced meat, sandwiched in the middle of hamburgers.

Such a huge area cannot be strengthened at all. It is like the lower abdomen of the Qin State, soft and easy to attack.

As time goes by, the weather is gradually getting warmer, and after the last heavy snowfall of the year in the north, there are already signs of ice and snow melting.

This means that the Tang Army's attack will be weakened to a certain extent, and will also be strengthened to a certain extent! What is weakened is the attacking ground troops, who will fall into the mud, slow down the attack speed, and wait for the snowmelt water to dry up; what is strengthened is the air force

The bombing and operations in the southern region are determined by the climate.

The air force bombing, which was not strong in the first place, will gradually become terrifying as the temperature warms up. After several months of construction, the Tang Army has almost restored the airport near Dongqing and built several field airports east of the old capital.

.

These airports will be completed and put into use within the next month or two to support the Tang Air Force's larger-scale action plan.

With these airports, the number of Tang Army aircraft sorties will rise several levels, and the Qin Army in the north will face a more severe test.

And as the Tang army cleared away the remaining forces that had entered the city of Shu, another front had appeared in front of the two countries: the northern front of Shu!

On this front, the Tang Army has prepared the terrifying strength of three army groups, namely the Tang Army's 1st Group Army, 4th Group Army and 8th Group Army. Once these troops catch up with their logistical supplies, they will march south like wild horses that have escaped the reins.

On the other hand, Qin's troops in this direction did not exceed 300,000, and they did not even have a decent general to command them.

According to the plan, the Qin State will reinforce the northern war zone of the Shu State and strive to increase the number of troops here to 500,000 to 1 million to block the Tang State's attack.
