1470 Imperial Flagship

In order to support long-range cross-sea operations, the Tang Empire added many new weapons and equipment to its arsenal, and the dock landing ship was one of them.

Tang Mo took out many versions of landing support ships at once, some with a tonnage of more than 40,000 tons, and some with a tonnage of about 20,000 tons.

These ships look like small aircraft carriers, except that they are much simpler and cheaper than aircraft carriers.

However, there was an exception. The Tang Empire built a special command ship. This ship was a dock landing ship, but it used a lot of communication equipment and installed a lot of electronic systems. The cost of the ship was sky-high.

In the equipment sequence of the Tang Empire, only one battleship was built, and it was named Admiral Bernard and was used as the flagship of the Imperial Navy.

According to the plan, if Tang Mo is willing to go to the front line in person, he will also choose this ship for his flagship. This modified version of the luxury battleship even has a special emperor's room inside, and the decoration inside is based on the yacht level.

This room has an area of more than 90 square meters, with a separate bathtub and a reception room. It is considered a luxury on a battleship where space is at a premium. The room is even surrounded by armor protection comparable to that of an ammunition depot, and all kinds of facilities are available.

At the same time, a large number of satellite communication antennas are installed on the entire battleship, which can ensure contact with every fleet in the Tang Empire. If necessary, it can also directly contact the air force and army.

The straight and connected flight deck can accommodate seven Black Hawk helicopters taking off and landing at the same time. Of course, in many cases these aircraft are not used to support landing operations, but to transport naval officials to prepare for meetings.

Similarly, what is parked in the dock at the rear of this warship named after the naval marshal is not a landing craft or a hovercraft, but a speedboat for transportation, so as to ensure the safe departure of important people on this command ship in an emergency.

In addition to this command ship, the Navy also began to build five dock landing ships of the same class at the same time. These landing ships are all serious landing support ships. Their appearance is similar to China's 075, and their functions are of course similar.

As for the so-called stealth performance, there is indeed no such thing. Although the appearance is the same, its technical standards have not reached the corresponding height. The naval warships of the Tang Empire do not need the so-called radar stealth performance. Anyway, the enemy's radar is only that

What's going on...

Therefore, if we really know that the Tang Empire is desperately building a large number of advanced dock landing ships, we can also infer that the Datang Empire will not conduct large-scale cross-sea landing operations in a short time.

It is regrettable that no country’s intelligence agency has the ability to insert its informants into military restricted areas like Longdao. The dock landing ships built in Linshui and Dongwan are small in tonnage and not very eye-catching.

The intelligence agencies of various countries are still focusing their attention on traditional warships. Everyone is looking at the aircraft carriers, cruisers, and destroyers that Tang is building. Where will they care about those ships that have no idea what their purpose is?

In fact, in addition to battleships, the strength of the navy is more directly reflected in the quantity and quality of support ships. A powerful naval country must have more and more advanced support ships.

This is what the Tang Empire is like now. What really makes the Tang Empire's navy invincible is the seemingly inconspicuous advanced support and supply fleet. The technology used by the Tang Empire's oil ships is even far superior to the serious warships of other navies.

The Tang Dynasty's supply ships generally have a speed of more than 20 knots and can carry out horizontal supply. These new technologies have improved the supply efficiency and can even complete complex maritime weapons and equipment supply operations when necessary.

These ships can replenish fuel and ammunition for aircraft carriers, and some can even reload missiles for destroyers and cruisers. It is precisely because of these supply ships that the Tang Empire's navy can operate unscrupulously in the waters of Dorne.

Moreover, in a state of war, it was these supply ships that provided additional services to the officers and soldiers of the Tang Imperial Navy, ensuring that the naval officers and soldiers could persist longer in a tense combat environment.

In addition to regular supply ships, the Tang Imperial Navy also had specialized cold storage ships to provide ice cream and frozen meat to the fleet.

The Tang Navy even had a dedicated cruise ship to provide rest services. Naval officers and soldiers on vacation could even rest on the cruise ship, where there were more spacious beds and more professional entertainment facilities. The officers and soldiers could enjoy a vacation without returning to the port.

A short vacation.

Unfortunately, it is not easy for spies from various countries on the Eastern Continent to obtain some information about Tang destroyers, so they will not care about the performance of supply ships.

It is precisely because of these supply ships that the Tang Navy has been able to maintain high efficiency and strong combat effectiveness.

Therefore, Loew has been paying attention to the construction of naval landing ships. To a certain extent, the progress there represents the progress of Tang State's plan for the Eastern Continent.

In addition, Tang State's armed helicopters specially prepared for the navy are also undergoing test flights. The development progress of these helicopters also determines the combat effectiveness of the dock landing ship.

While everything was being prepared, the Tang State did not stop its activities, but on the contrary, Tang Mo had been planning a landing on the Eastern Continent.

However, it seems that the Tang Empire is concentrating on developing its own infrastructure and economy, without investing much in the military. But in fact, the Tang Kingdom's preparations for war have not stopped, and have even accelerated.

In order to confuse the countries around the world on the Eastern Continent, the 7th Army of the Tang Dynasty stationed at Qingluan Port held a large-scale landing exercise while waiting in boredom.

This was regarded as a semi-public show of force. The purpose was to attract the attention of Dorne and other empires and make them think that Tang's landing operation plan had indeed chosen Dorne.

Of course, this was also a test to see whether Tang State had the ability to conduct a large-scale cross-sea landing operation.

Many problems were exposed during the exercise, which made the Tang State's General Staff a little worried. Facts have proved that although the Tang army is powerful, landing across a distance of more than 900 kilometers is indeed much more complicated than imagined.

Various accidents occurred frequently during the exercise, and one soldier even died. This made Eric, the commander of the 7th Army, so ashamed and angry that he submitted a resignation report to Emperor Tang Mo.

Fortunately, this report was thrown directly into the trash can by Tang Mo, otherwise Eric would have become the first Army-level commander of the Tang Empire to resign due to an exercise accident.

happy New Year to all.
