1561 Dwarf Worker

A truck flew on an uneven road. The road was originally full of large and small craters, but now it has been barely filled and restored to use.

There were several soldiers holding weapons sitting on the truck, and beside them sat dwarf civilians wearing various clothes.

These civilians were workers who were willing to help the Tang Army. The Tang Army established a maintenance factory on the outskirts of Benn so that some damaged vehicles on the battlefield could be repaired nearby.

On one side of the road, there is a factory that is still smoking. The houses and factories have collapsed. A Tang Army soldier is inspecting the damage to the factory.

"Yesterday, a Scud attacked here...but it doesn't matter. Basically, it's safe here." The Tang officer who sent these dwarves away explained. His words made Buck, who was following him, even more nervous.

In the afternoon, he sent his "salary" home. His wife's face was full of disbelief: they had never seen so much food, let alone good things like canned sausages and meat.

After demonstrating how to open meat cans several times, Buck and the soldiers who sent him away left. Before leaving, the Tang soldiers assured Buck's wife that Buck would be back early tomorrow morning.

Buck also comforted his wife. He didn't know what he was going to do, but it was obvious that if he really wanted to die, there would be no need to give him so much grain and canned food.

Finally, he and several other workers arrived at the airport in the suburbs. This was the place where he first met Tang Jun and where his friend died.

After seeing the airport again, Buck was shocked to find that the place had changed. Their airport runway seemed to have been reinforced with a strong cement. The buildings in the distance had collapsed, but a tent was set up next to it.

district.

There is a row of helicopters parked on one side of the runway. There are about twenty or thirty helicopters at random. Many people are busy around these helicopters, seeming to be loading ammunition on them.

On the other side of the airport, there was a giant airplane parked that was bigger than a house. Buck swore he had never seen such a big airplane before. It was just parked there, and it already scared Buck.

The giant plane had opened the tail door, and a group of Tang soldiers were pushing the fixed cargo out of the plane. They were careful, and it was obvious that the value of these cargoes should be very high.

In fact, this is indeed the case. What comes by air are equipment for rebuilding the airport and allowing the airport to quickly return to service. Some are equipment for processing parts, and some are aircraft parts shipped directly by air.

This IL-76 transports helicopter engines. These engines are sent to the front line as spare parts. With these engines, the helicopter's attendance rate will be greatly improved.

"It's very efficient! Have you found someone yet?" After the car stopped, the Tang Army soldier at the checkpoint said jokingly as he checked the ID of the Tang Army soldier escorting the dwarf workers.

"You don't know how anxious those ground staff are. They called me several times a day to urge me." After taking back his ID, the Tang officer in the car pointed to the back: "Hurry up and do the work."

"Everyone get off the car! Everyone get off the car!" Tang Jun, who was in charge of the checkpoint, shouted loudly as he slapped the car. After hearing the order, the Tang Jun in the car turned over and got off, and the dwarves also jumped out one by one.

The team stood up next to the car, and Buck was surprised to find that a Tang Jun at the front of the team was taking pictures of them with a camera.

He didn't know what it was for, but he had seen cameras before. They were very expensive, and only the director of their factory had one. He heard that it cost a lot of money.

"They all look the same... How can we do this?" After taking pictures of the three dwarves, the Tang Army soldier in charge complained: "With a beard, the ID photo is of no use."

Although the one-inch photo on the Tang ID card is very clear and in color, these dwarves all have big beards. Apart from the style of their beards, they really have no obvious features.

What’s even more ridiculous is that because their beards are so long, most dwarves’ even one-inch photos won’t be able to capture the edge of their beards, making their features even less obvious.

"There is no other way, what else can we do?" The leading Tang officer shrugged helplessly: "Or I can send these people back, and you can explain the difficulties to the logistics department."

"Click!" Without further nonsense, the soldier who took the photo picked up the camera and started working again. Just kidding, the logistics team was almost crying from exhaustion. If he went to find trouble at this time, he would probably be poured five kilograms of antifreeze from the aircraft.

Only then can I leave...

When it was Buck's turn, Buck was a little embarrassed and didn't know what expression to make. He was half-frightened and half-uncomfortable and backed away slightly, leaving a big face in front of the camera that was often laughed at later.

The Tang Army is restoring production near Benn, and is also expanding its occupied area. They focus on compressing the position of the 2nd Dwarf Army to the west, and have achieved considerable results.

Harv's troops have been compressed into the 1st and 2nd positions, and have lost a large number of artillery. They are completely unable to threaten the Tang army from the west.

Without the interference of these troops, the Tang army gathered a large number of troops and began to attack in the south and east directions. The pressure on the dwarf 1st Army and the newly ascended 4th Army suddenly increased.

Buck soon came to a temporary warehouse, which contained some machinery. After he and a few people who came with him passed a simple test, they were all left behind.

According to the requirements, they had to produce some simple parts to replace the wearing parts on military trucks. Several people worked for four or five hours, and then they were shocked by the food that was delivered.

During the day, the Tang Dynasty's own army technicians are responsible for production here, and Buck and his companions were recruited to work the night shift. The night shift provides a dinner, which starts around midnight. It is actually a meal prepared in the canteen, with two vegetarian dishes and one meat dish.

, piled on a disposable dinner plate.

Buck had never eaten such good food, and the few people who came with him had obviously not seen such delicacies either. The way they devoured them made Buck feel embarrassed.

Then their work efficiency increased a bit, after all, they felt that they should be worthy of that delicious "late night snack".

At dawn, several people received their IDs so that they could face the patrols' interrogations calmly.

Then they got in the truck together and the bumpy ride home made them back to their respective homes before having breakfast.

My daughter-in-law and son came back today. I have been busy all day, so I only have one update. Sorry.
