627 Brutal hand-to-hand combat

As the platoon leader ran forward, a bullet grazed his helmet. The Mirage troops soon discovered him and shot him several times.

Fortunately, there were no machine guns nearby, and the accuracy of the inconsistent single-shot shots was actually very limited, so the platoon leader ran to the side of the paralyzed No. 4 assault gun without any danger.

With this iron lump as a cover, there were a lot fewer bullets attacking him. Leaning behind the No. 4 assault gun, the platoon leader discovered that there were still several Tang Army soldiers lying on the ground following the assault gun.

He knelt down on one knee and looked at the corpses of these soldiers. Some were bleeding from the orifices, and some had wounds on their chests. They were all killed by the explosion just now. This damn large mine instantly turned into a mirage army.

It may not be a feat that can be accomplished.

Wiping a handful on his face, the platoon leader stood up and took a closer look at the paralyzed No. 4 tank. The tracks had been disconnected due to the explosion and hung loosely on the deformed power wheels.

The entire muffler barrel on the exhaust pipe hanging from the back of the vehicle body fell off. Two of the first four of the eight road wheels were missing, and two of them were lying next to the wreckage of the tank.

"It's over..." Seeing such a tragic explosion scene, the platoon leader knew that the crew of the assault gun was definitely in danger.

He tried it from the back and climbed up to the roof of the assault gun with great effort. Using the reverse slope at the back, he carefully prepared to climb near the hatch to see if he could open the hatch.

As a result, just when he was about to do this, the soldiers covering him shouted to him loudly. He looked over and saw that his men were gesturing at him.

The opponent pointed forward and made another gesture indicating that there was an enemy. Then he was suppressed by the incoming bullets and retracted into the crater.

The platoon leader understood that the Mirage people also wanted the remains of this assault gun, so they started a counterattack, trying to get closer to the assault gun.

He stuck his head out and took a look, and sure enough, densely packed Mirage soldiers rushed out of the trenches and charged towards the assault gun with bright bayonets in hand.

"What wrong have I done in my life, and I have to suffer here!" The platoon leader retracted his neck, took out the grenade from the pocket behind him, opened the safety cover and threw it.

The distance between the two sides was already very close. There were at least 30 enemies. He had to defeat them here before he could have a chance to retreat to a relatively safe position.

The Tang Army soldiers on the flanks opened fire, and the bullets swept over them, knocking down seven or eight Mirage soldiers who were about to rush out of the trenches. They blocked the reinforcements of the Mirage soldiers in front, but those Mirage soldiers who rushed out of the trenches first were already very close.

This No. 4 assault gun was destroyed by a mine.

"Boom!" The grenade thrown by the platoon leader exploded in the crowd of Mirage soldiers, sending five or six unlucky people flying.

The remaining Mirage soldiers were also blown into pieces and were thrown into disarray. Taking this opportunity, the platoon leader stuck his head out, picked up his Thompson submachine gun and started shooting.

"Boom, boom, boom!" The pleasant sound of the typewriter echoed in the platoon leader's ears. The Mirage soldiers in front of him fell one after another, and five or six more died in the blink of an eye.

"Bang!" A Mirage soldier fired at the Tang Army platoon leader. The Tang Army platoon leader retracted his head and the bullet missed him.

The platoon leader who had exhausted the magazine threw away the empty magazine, reloaded a new magazine, pulled the bolt to load the bullet, and stuck his head out again.

"Boom, boom, boom!" He pulled the trigger, and the typewriter began to make a crisp sound again. Bullets were shot out like raindrops, and the mirage soldiers on the opposite side fell one after another again.

But after all, he was just one person. He took care of this side, but could not take care of the other side: the Mirage soldiers on the other side of the assault gun wreckage had already circled around, and were already within a few feet of him.

When he finished emptying the magazine again and retracted to reload, he heard the sound of enemies approaching on the other side.

Some Mirage people had already begun to climb up the assault guns. With enemies on three sides, the Tang Army platoon leader began to regret that he had come to join in the fun.

He once again pulled out a grenade, pulled the tab and threw it towards the side where he had just fired before he could count the seconds.

The enemy over there has been suppressed for a while and is still relatively far away from him. Now he has to buy some time to clear the other side.

The grenade rolled to the ground but did not explode immediately because the distance was very close and it took two or three seconds for it to explode.

Taking advantage of this time, the platoon leader who was leaning on the rear of the tank quickly moved to the other side and pulled the trigger on the group of primary school students who were already pressed against his face.

When a large group of Mirage dwarfs saw a man suddenly appear in front of them, they were so frightened that they took half a step back, and then they roared and charged forward with bayonets in hand.

Waiting for them were the bullets from the submachine gun of the platoon leader of the Tang Army: "Thud, tug, tug, tug, tug!" Intensive strafing, at a very close distance, all the bullets were fired.

The first mirage soldier fell, followed by the second and third, followed by the fourth and fifth. And some of these mirage soldiers who rushed up with weapons still had that ugly look on their faces.

, a helmet produced on a temporary basis.

"Catch him alive! Catch him!" the Mirage officer leading the team shouted excitedly. As long as he could capture a prisoner, he would probably be promoted to company commander.

You know, until the war has reached this point, neither Qi nor Mirage has captured a single prisoner of the Tang army.

"Boom!" As the mirage officer shouted, the grenade at the other end exploded. The loud noise drowned out all the shouts, leaving only the buzzing in the ears.

The Tang Army platoon leader, who was also shocked by his own grenade, staggered and shook his head, trying his best to cheer up again.

At this moment, a Mirage soldier rushed in front of him, grabbed his submachine gun with both hands, and tried to take away his weapon.

With a strong shake, the Mirage soldier who was similar to Wu Dalang was thrown away. The platoon leader of the Tang Army continued to aim his gun and knocked down the Mirage soldier who tried to follow him.

He couldn't even hear the sound of his weapon, there was only a buzzing sound in his ears, and everything around him seemed to be shaking.

He was like this, and the surrounding mirage goblins were not much better. These people were also confused, and relying on their large numbers, they were ready to capture a Tang army alive and go back to claim credit and reward.

Another Mirage soldier rushed forward. Although he was shot twice in the chest, he still used his inertia to jump on the Tang Army platoon leader and threw him to the ground.

The submachine gun fell to the side, and he hurriedly pushed away the corpse of the Mirage soldier on his body. At this time, several Mirage soldiers had already surrounded him.

The Tang Army platoon leader pulled out the M1911 pistol from his waist and pulled the trigger at the approaching Mirage Army soldiers.

In the first shot, a bullet blew off the Mirage soldier's head; in the second shot, another Mirage soldier fell on his back, clutching his chest.

However, the Tang Army platoon leader was now a little desperate, because out of the corner of his eye, he had seen three Mirage soldiers climbing onto the wreckage of the assault gun.

Including the Mirage people on the ground who had already surrounded him, there were almost a dozen enemies left, but he only had one pistol left.

The mirage soldiers who were close to Chi Chi swarmed forward, and the gunshots from their pistols disappeared after seven shots.

It was impossible for the other party to give him another chance to change his ammunition. A Mirage soldier who rushed up stabbed the Tang Army platoon leader in the thigh with a bayonet.

A stinging pain came, and the angry Tang Army platoon leader's arm holding a pistol was hugged by another Mirage soldier who rushed up. No matter how hard he tried, he could not pull it out.

Just when he was about to completely despair, a Tang Army soldier with a bayonet rushed up and like a ferocious tiger, he flew away the Mirage soldier in front of him.

As soon as he raised his foot, he stepped on the head of the Mirage soldier who was holding the arm of the Tang Army platoon leader. He used him as a stepping stone. He jumped high and stabbed the Mirage officer who was stunned on the spot with his sword.

Before the Mirage soldiers could step forward and were shouting and preparing to fight, another Tang Army soldier arrived with a submachine gun.

He kept firing, and the Mirage soldiers who climbed onto the roof of the assault gun were hit by bullets, fell down from the body of the vehicle, and hit the ground heavily, no longer as ferocious as before.

Continuous gunshots rang out, and these mirage soldiers were all knocked down, and there were no more living enemies around.

The Mirage soldier who had just stabbed the Tang Army platoon leader in the thigh with his bayonet had no time to withdraw his weapon when he was hit on the head by the butt of a rifle and fell straight to the ground.

Before he could get up, a bayonet stabbed him in the chest, and blood spurted out from the blood tank, staining the brown uniforms of the Mirage Army red.

"I told you before that you have to look at the Type 1 rifle to fight with a bayonet!" The strong Tang Jun who was holding a 98k with a bayonet on it pulled out his weapon and shouted.

"Forget it! Brother! You just didn't have time to change into a submachine gun!" An officer holding a submachine gun walked up to the injured Tang Army platoon leader and looked down at the man who fell on the ground: "Sir! Are you okay?"

"Damn it, which one of your eyes can see that I'm okay? Call me the medic!" The Tang Army platoon leader, who was leaning on the corpse of a Mirage soldier and gasping for air, covered the hole in his leg with his hands and said in a dumbfounded voice.

"Platoon leader! Are you okay?" At this time, the Tang Army platoon leader's own troops also arrived. Several people gathered around and asked anxiously.

"Hurry up and call the medic!" Seeing that his pants and the hand covering the wound were stained red with blood, the platoon leader said weakly again.

"Medic! Medic!" The soldier who just said he was going to cover him shouted at the top of his lungs, and soon a medic carrying a medical kit rushed over.

In the distance, the Mirage's position has been broken through, and the Tang army is on the offensive. The remaining Mirage troops can no longer take care of the assault gun that was blown up in front of their position.
