Chapter 675 Eight Statues

The blind person is good at hearing, and the deaf person is good at seeing. Novel . One source of absolute profit, use the teacher ten times.

This is what the Chinese classic "Yin Fu Jing" says.

People who cannot see have particularly sensitive ears; people who are relatively deaf usually have particularly good eyesight.

This is a general situation.

Of course, this does not apply to old people who are deaf and blind.

Why does this happen? From a pros and cons perspective, if you don’t have eyesight, you need hearing to make up for it, and vice versa.

From a deeper and more essential perspective, a person's overall output or energy consumption is limited. If you use it here, it will be difficult to use it there at the same time. Even if you use it, it will not be used well.

This is also the truth of the saying "it is difficult to do two things with one mind".

Listen to music with headphones and read a book at the same time.

Either you can't read books well and don't know what you read when you turn the page; or you can listen to songs but don't know where you heard them.

For a fat person, regardless of his physical health, his energy level is generally not very good.

Because a considerable part of his/her energy is used by the body for its own metabolism, it is impossible to achieve a relatively 100% output, maybe only 70% or even 60%.

"Is your intuition accurate?"

This was the first time Xu Guangling asked Shen Xin face to face.

In fact, of course there is no need to ask at all, because the answer is yes.

Shen Xin does not have an abnormality in the top of her body.

Even now, Xu Guangling has only seen one example of a person who was born with a large orifice, and that is the Ito sisters. Apart from that, there is no other.

But around Shen Xin's top orifice, the fluctuations of his life aura are indeed much more active than those of ordinary people.

At the same time, her overall life aura was relatively silent.

The comparison between the two is extremely obvious.

Compared to ordinary people, in Xu Guangling's eyes, he was like a firefly in the dark night. Although it was not burning, it was still twinkling.

There is no glory of the sun, but there is the glory of the moon.

"Those who have deep desires have shallow secrets."

This is a quote from Zhuangzi's "The Great Master". In fact, the core of this sentence comes from the same source as the sentence in the "Yin Fu Jing".

To expand the scope a little further, this is also the fish and the bear's paw that Mencius said, you can't have both.

Why can’t we have both?

Just like the two ends of a scale, you are either high on one end and low on the other, or high on one end and low on the other.

I want both ends to be high

That's not a scale!

When used in chess, you can either give up the pieces to gain momentum, or be greedy for the pieces and lose the momentum. All the advantages and disadvantages lie in the choice. If you want to have both, unless your opponent is a fool and is not at the same level as you at all.

Otherwise, both are stupid.

The reason for stupidity is that it violates the "Tao".

Xu Guangling did not know about Shen Xin's past.

But he doesn't need to know. Just from his current physical and mental condition, he can gain a general insight.

From a secular perspective, Shen Xin's current situation is very bad. She has no desire or motivation. In a sense, she is like a vegetative state or a living dead.

But it is precisely for this reason that she considered the "source" to the greatest possible extent.

At the same time, in a certain sense, he still retains a considerable "innocent heart".

The source is abundant, but the contamination is shallow.

Like in mountain spring water.

The water in the mountain spring is clear, and the water in the mountain spring is turbid.

Although Shen Xin comes from mountain spring water, her texture is closer to that of the mountain.

Therefore, one of the statues Xu Guangling carved for her was called "Innocent".

Its biggest feature is its eyes.

Those are a pair of eyes that are extremely clear, but seem to be able to reflect everything in the world.

And reflection is simply reflection, as a couplet says, "The wind comes and thins out the bamboos, but the wind goes away and the bamboos leave no sound; when the wild geese cross the cold pond, the wild geese pass by but the pond leaves no shadow."

The opposite of innocence is sophistication.

The opposite of innocence and sophistication, both of which are detachment.

Therefore, another statue carved by Xu Guangling is named "Transcendence".

When carving this statue, Xu Guangling actually made a small reference to his two teachers. Therefore, although the shape of the statue is that of Shen Xin, the spirit inside it is not what she can possess now.

Innocence belongs to children, to the beginning.

The spring water in the mountain will eventually come out of the mountain, and after it comes out of the mountain, all kinds of contamination are inevitable and unavoidable.

But this is just a process.

Some people are completely assimilated in this process, from being contaminated to being transformed into the contamination itself.

There are also people who have been stained and stained all the way, but in the end, they are "not afraid of the floating clouds covering their eyes, just because they are at the top". After walking through thousands of mountains and rivers and experiencing vicissitudes of life, they shake off the fallen snow and raise their eyebrows with a faint smile.

That smile was both innocent and worldly, neither innocent nor worldly.

Rather, it embraces both and stands above both.

Mr. Zhang is like this.

The same is true for Mr. Chen.

There are eight statues in total.

Xu Guangling psychologically induced Shen Xin from eight aspects.

With the realm and height of the Grand Master, and the means of the clairvoyance, it is enough to ensure that these statues are both concrete and extremely subtle, and can completely and 100% present the charm that Xu Guangling wants to express.

It can also make anyone look at it for a moment, and they will be fascinated by it.

Not to mention, the portraitist of the statue himself, Shen Xin.

But this is just an "introduction".

Since he entered the path of Grand Master two years ago, Xu Guangling has understood the interaction between body and mind very thoroughly.

The mind can affect the body, but it is still limited.

The body affects the mind, and forcing changes in the mind through changes in the body is the kingly way and the great road.

And if the two work together, the effect can be said to be immediate and incredible.

So, outside of that "introduction", or in other words, inside.

Xu Guangling also prepared real "medicine".

Shen Xin hugged the eight statues and returned to her small building as if sleepwalking.

She walked mechanically, step by step, and unknowingly walked back to her room. Then, she carefully spread the statue on her bed.

That is also the cleanest and tidiest place in this small room.

Then, she knelt on one leg in front of the bed and looked at the statues without blinking.

She first found the first among these statues.

The one who smiled slightly.

She had been looking there for a long time before, but at this time, Shen Xin was still entranced again, staring blankly at the small statue in front of her.

After looking at it for an unknown amount of time, Shen Xin came to her senses and changed another one.

As for this second statue, Shen Xin was immediately entranced as soon as she saw it.

Shen Xin's bed was next to the window, with the dark blue curtains half-opened.

It was noon, and the beautiful sunlight filtered through the screen window, shining brightly and warmly on the bed, the ground, and Shen Xin's body, but she didn't notice it at all.

All her mind was attracted by the statue in her hand.

The sun gradually turns away.

The sunlight gradually deviated from the bed, moved from the middle of the bed to the end of the bed, until it completely disappeared.

But Shen Xin didn't know when she lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

While sleeping, she vaguely seemed to have had a dream.
