The little beggar rolled his eyes, without even opening them, and said weakly: "I have been living here since Changzhou, and I have relied on others' alms to live in Linggu. It was only two days ago that I found this ruined temple to stay.
If you can’t even fill your stomach, how can you bother to see any Buddha statues?”
At this time, the bull-headed monster seemed to be blessed in its soul. The simple and honest expression on its face disappeared, and its expression was extremely serious. It said: "Although I have cultivated the monster body not long ago, I have also heard that the temples of gods and Buddhas in Jiangling County are extremely efficacious. They are not as effective as mine."
If you beg sincerely, you can get a chance of survival if you say no."
The little beggar sneered, narrowed his eyes and said, "Let me ask you, how long has it been since there was no incense in this temple?"
The bull-headed monster was stunned for a moment, looked at the ruined temple again, and said, "It's at least a few years old."
"That's it," the little beggar sneezed hard and closed his eyes again, "If this temple is really effective, no one will care about it. You can't understand such a simple truth. You are really stupid.
Object."
The bull-headed monster let out a long sigh, stood up straight, walked slowly under the stone platform of the Buddha statue, looked up at the dilapidated Buddha statue, and said: "The rain is so heavy, you and I might as well give it a try, otherwise we won't be able to survive."
In three days, this ruined temple will completely collapse. At that time, the celestial body and ghosts will infiltrate the body, and it will still end in a bad death."
His behavior was extremely pious, as if he had suddenly changed into a different person, and he knelt down respectfully towards the Buddha statue.
The little beggar was frightened by his expression. He couldn't help but sit up straight and stared intently at the bull-headed monster kneeling on the ground.
After the cow-headed monster meticulously bowed and kowtowed three times and nine times, it looked up at the blurry Buddha statue and said word by word: "The Buddha is merciful and hopes to give you a glimmer of life. From now on, the old cow will worship day and night and never dare to slack off in the slightest."
.”
After a few breaths, the Buddha statue did not change at all, and a look of despair inevitably appeared on the face of the bull-headed monster.
The little beggar rolled his eyes, as if he had thought of something, and said, "Let me ask you, do you know which Buddha this is?"
The bull-headed monster shook its head, its tall body collapsed to the ground, and fell weakly under the stone platform.
The little beggar stood up and looked back and forth in the small ruined temple, finally stopping on a dilapidated wooden plaque.
He raised his leg and kicked the bull-headed monster hard, and said: "Go and turn over that wooden plaque and see what is written on it."
When the bull-headed monster saw the little beggar acting like this, he thought of the joints, his eyes brightened slightly, he mustered up the strength to stand up, took three steps at a time, and grabbed the wooden plaque.
The front of the wooden plaque was always facing the ground and was already covered with dense spider webs. The bull-headed monster stretched out its big hand and rubbed it hard, gradually revealing several ancient seals engraved on it.
The little beggar stared at the wooden plaque without blinking, with a dazed look on his face, and murmured: "Horsahead Vairocana Bodhisattva, Protector of the Ming King? What kind of Buddha is this? Why have I never heard of it?"
Suddenly, the expression of the bull-headed monster changed drastically. He pointed at the dilapidated Buddha statue on the stone platform and said in a trembling voice: "The Ming King Bodhisattva has appeared!"
The little beggar turned around and saw an incredible scene.
The distorted head of the Buddha statue that was missing most of it actually emitted a blazing Buddha's light. The golden threads were intertwined, and in a moment, a one-eyed horse head with eyes closed was condensed!
The golden threads circled and flowed, never stopping at all, but twisting and changing with the outline of the Buddha statue. After an unknown period of time, a terrifying and terrifying stone statue finally emerged.
The stone statue is red all over, with three sides and eight arms. Each horse-faced forehead has a giant eye. Its three single eyes are no longer closed, but open wide, with fangs exposed, and hair and beard.
It is red and yellow in color and stands upright, showing a fearless and angry look.
The three faces of Horsehead Vairocana Bodhisattva represent emptiness, spirit, and nature, the eight arms represent wisdom and compassion, the three wide-open eyes represent subduing the demons of three lives, and the exposed fangs represent the deterrence of all evil obstacles that hinder the movement of animals.
There are six realms of reincarnation in Netherworld Fengdu. Each reincarnation is guarded by a Dharma-protecting King, who is worshiped by all living beings in the world.
Horsehead Vairocana Bodhisattva is the hell king who protects the animal realm.
There are many sects of the Origin Sect of Buddhism, and there are many Bodhisattva sages and true Buddhas. Most of the monasteries of these Bodhisattva sages are not in the Holy Mountain of Sumeru, but are scattered in the Three Realms.
After the last immeasurable calamity, the nominal co-owner of heaven and earth was the Thirty-Three Heavenly Courts. However, after the great calamity, the Thirty-three Heavenly Courts were unable to put pressure on the Buddhist origin religion.
This has also led to many Bodhisattva sages competing for merit and luck, and the conflict between them has become more serious. If the creatures in their respective dojos are not careful, extremely violent conflicts will break out.
The realms of Fengdu and the six realms of reincarnation are all under the control of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva once said, "If hell is not empty, you will not realize the true Buddha." This Bodhisattva can compete with the immeasurable Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Supremely powerful, and this Horsehead Vairocana Bodhisattva, who protects the way of animals, is one of the hell kings under his seat.
Although they both belong to the origin of Buddhism, the lineage of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has never gone to Nanzhanbuzhou and Xiniuhezhou to preach. Now, a Buddha statue of Horsehead Vairocana Bodhisattva has appeared in the Eastern Tang Dynasty. It is really shocking.
People are surprised.
Although Horsehead Vairocana Bodhisattva has been given the title of "Bodhisattva", he has no real "Bodhisattva" cultivation at all. As the King of Hell, he only has a special status because he guards the animal path, one of the six paths of rotation.
He raised his title by half a level and called him "Horsahead Vairocana Bodhisattva".
As the Buddha's light shone, the space under the stone platform was distorted, and more than ten plates of spiritual fruit, fine wine, and delicacies appeared one after another.
The alluring aroma of fairy fruit spirit wine filled the entire temple in an instant. The bull-headed monster knelt on the ground, saliva flowing uncontrollably from his mouth, but he still bowed several times to the dilapidated Buddha statue that had been restored to its original state.
I just grabbed a plate of delicacies and ate them.
The little beggar came back to his senses, looked up at the weird Buddha statue, sniffed the sweet aroma of wine that filled his mouth and nose, grabbed a pot of wine and poured it into his mouth.
He drank so quickly that he actually choked on the spiritual wine. The little beggar coughed hard until his nose and tears flowed down. He shouted with a smile and a cry: "If this Tianjia spiritual wine is released,
In Jiangling County, even a thousand immortal stones cannot be bought! I really never thought that I would be saved by a god and Buddha who I usually think is useless!"
After finishing the pot of spiritual wine, the little beggar put the pot aside, stood up with all his strength, walked respectfully to the stone platform of the Buddha statue, knelt down with great piety, bowed his head and said
: "Bodhisattva is compassionate! Buddha is compassionate!"
The bull-headed monster who was eating and drinking at the side also stopped eating when he saw this, and then knelt down together, bowed his head and worshiped: "Bodhisattva has mercy!"
