1173, Yarkand Khanate

The Yarkand Khanate was a country founded in 1514 on the old land of the original Chagatai Khanate by Said, the third brother of Mansur Khan of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate, a descendant of Chagatai Khanate. It lasted until 1680.

It was destroyed by the Junggar Khanate, which lasted 166 years.

Because the early ruling center was in Kashgar (referred to as Kashgar), it was also called the Kashgar Khanate.

The history of this country is not long, but it is very chaotic. Their history and the inheritance of the Great Khan will not be described in detail. They are of mixed Vymun blood and believe in Islam.

There was a reason why they came to Jiuyuan City this time and took a trip through the muddy waters.

They and other desert Mongolian tribes who believe in Lamaism are mutually exclusive in terms of belief. They are not pure Mongolians in terms of blood.

Because of the integration of multiple ethnic groups, this country was very unstable. After entering 1594, they had been torn apart and their national power was in decline.

In 1627, Abdullah, the son of the ruler of Turpan, Abdulrajim, succeeded to the throne. There was a short-lived revival.

Abdullah took advantage of his brother's struggle for the dominance of Turpan. Abdullah led the Turpan army to send troops to Yarkand City (Yarkand City), once again unified the Eastern Chagatai Khanate and made Hami surrender.

He appointed his younger brother Suritang as Turpan Aqim (transliteration of Arabic hakim. It means "local ruler", similar to the "governor" of the Qing Dynasty. In the Yarkand Khanate, Aqim was the highest administrator of the region.

Presides over military and civil affairs.) and has direct administrative jurisdiction over Turpan.

Then, he sent troops to the Ili Valley, defeated the Junggar Khanate army in the Gonnas Grassland, and regained control of the Ili Valley and Lake Balkhash.

After a series of wars, the Yarkand Khanate once again unified Tashkent and Fergan. The Yarkand Khanate generally returned to its territory during the Saiyid period.

This time, if the Yarkand Khanate does not participate in the great alliance of the Mongols in the Western Regions, it is likely that they will be excluded from the Mongolian alliance. And they themselves have a guilty conscience, fearing that they will be excluded by other tribes because of their beliefs and lineage.

.

But this time, if the Oirat Alliance wants to send troops, it must pass through the Ili Valley and Hami.

This is the territory of the Yarkand Khanate. Therefore, the Yarkand Khanate sold a favor and joined in to prevent them from forming an alliance against the Yarkand Khanate.

Abdullah, like Oirat, also had the mind to expand eastward. He also coveted the land in the seven parts of Guanxi, the Alxa region, and even Qinghai.

The Yarkand people were able to defeat the Junggar people the year before last mainly because they took advantage of the internal contradictions in Oirat. Otherwise, the Junggar people would not spit it out in the Ili Valley.

This time, the Yarkand Khanate was led by the younger brother of Great Khan Abdullah, Aqimsu Litang of Turpan, who came in force with 30,000 infantry and cavalry.

They have 10,000 cavalry and 20,000 infantry. The soldiers and horses of the Yarkand Khanate are generally equipped with chain mail, which is somewhat similar to the short-sleeved chain mail of a short coat. They wear a helmet on their head and a scimitar on their waist.

Among the infantry, there were 10,000 crossbowmen and 10,000 sword and shield bearers. Their shields were small round shields.

This time, Abdullah asked them to make soy sauce, so he did not send elite matchlock gunners. Before coming, Abdullah gave Suri Tang instructions.

The focus of this trip is to prevent the Oirat people from forming an alliance to exclude the Yarkand people.

As for fighting, just think about it. Don't really fight against the Ming Dynasty's capital camp.

It is not a good idea that they can annihilate the Mongolian Mongolia. If the losses are too great, it is not worthwhile. Of course, if the Ming army is defeated, they will have to get a piece of land back from Monan. It can't be a waste of time, right?

Suli Tang naturally understood this. These soldiers were soldiers from Turpan and were his subordinates. Naturally, he was unwilling to suffer too much loss.

Yang Fan stood by the river and watched the busy engineers carrying various bridge-building equipment onto the pontoon.

The wooden boats were fixed one by one, and then three-meter-wide wooden boards were laid on them. Three pontoons extended toward the opposite shore little by little in the darkness.

An hour passed and the construction finally stopped.

"Sir, the pontoon bridge has been repaired." Zhang Geda came over to report. "Nothing was found on the other side."

Yang Fan waved his hand and said: "Cross the bridge immediately."

"Here!" After Zhang Geda accepted the order, he immediately led his group of servants onto the pontoon.

The Jia Ding Regiment is a cavalry force of 3,600 men. It is the best-equipped unit in the entire expedition, and it is also the unit with the strongest combat effectiveness.

River-crossing operations and amphibious operations are both very dangerous. If they attack halfway across the river, they may be severely defeated. Therefore, Yang Fan decided to let the Jia Ding Regiment take the lead. The Beijing camp had too few firearms and insufficient firepower.

The servants all led the horses, and the horses' hooves were wrapped in cotton to prevent them from making too much noise. Scouts on the other side of the river were watching on all sides and protecting the bridge.

The shallow-water heavy artillery ship also arrived near the other bank, ready to support the army crossing the river with its heavy artillery and machine guns.

It was already late at night. After the previous groups of patrol cavalry passed by, no new patrol cavalry came. They probably went back to sleep.

After crossing the river, the Jia Ding Regiment quickly advanced, took control of the commanding heights on the other side of the river, and set up a position one kilometer away, ready to block the Yarkand's attack at any time.

The results proved that Yang Fan was really worried too much. Until all twenty-four regiments crossed the river, the Yarkand people did not notice it. Even the four-wheeled carriage behind them pulled the Kangolev rocket over, and Franco from the Beijing camp

The machine guns and general artillery were pulled over. The Yarkand camp was not aware of it either.

"Master, these people are so vigilant, I really don't know how they survive in the Western Regions." Zhang Geda couldn't help but mocked.

"Don't underestimate them. They defeated the Junggars the year before last and took back the treasure land with rich water and grass in the Ili Valley. Last year, they even took back the land south of Balkhash Lake. They just marched for too long and were exhausted. Plus

They thought there was a natural danger in the Yellow River, and at the same time they didn't think much of us, so they didn't take strict precautions," Yang Fan said.

"Master, what you said is true. We are now surrounded by the city on three sides and the army is pressing down on the border. At this time, most people really dare not go out of the city to fight back. The master is really brave and extraordinary, and it is an extraordinary thing for people to do." Zhang Geda immediately offered a rainbow fart.

"Okay, stop flattering us. Prepare the whole army. Before dawn, we will launch Kangaroev rockets first, and then the whole army will attack." Yang Fan said.

At this time, the Beijing camp of the twenty-four regiments had quietly circled around the Yarkand camp, and slowly and lightly surrounded it from one kilometer away.

The main gun of the shallow-water heavy artillery ship anchored on the edge of the Yellow River also raised its muzzle. The maximum range of this main gun is 3,500 meters, and the Yarkand camp is only 2,500 meters away, so everything is within range.

Yang Fan was standing on a higher earth ball at this time. Surrounded by him were the cavalry formations of the Jia Ding Regiment, and at the bottom of the hillside were neatly arranged rocket launch rails. Behind the rails were carriages pulling rockets.

In this battle, Yang Fan does not plan to send out any more servants. Every one of Yang Fan's servants is an officer seed. There is no need to waste them in daily battles.

Unless the battle was defeated by the Beijing camp, Yang Fan would dispatch the Jia Ding Regiment as a reserve team to turn the tide of the battle.

At this time, in the eastern sky, the morning star has risen. It is about to dawn.

Yang Fan waved his hand and said: "Aim at the enemy camp, shoot with rocket coverage, and shoot out all the 3,000 incendiary bombs brought. Then let the gunboats open fire. If the Yarkands rush out, each regiment's assigned Folang machine cannon will

And the general's artillery also opened fire. Let the infantry prepare to charge."
