Chapter 326

Wen Xiaoyun was about to see how the carriage turned over, when suddenly there was a loud shout in front of the street. She unconsciously raised her head and looked forward, but she stumbled accidentally, and her body instantly lost her balance.

"Oops~" Seeing the sharp corner of a wooden box on the ground full of water facing her head that was about to fall, Wen Xiaoyun struggled with her limbs in a panic, desperately trying to grab something to stop herself from dying on the spot.

.

Yin Nuo, who got off the carriage first, caught a glimpse of Wen Xiaoyun's hurried figure from the corner of his eye. He quickly turned around and grabbed Wen Xiaoyun's waist. Only then did Wen Xiaoyun's forehead stop just half an inch above the sharp-cornered wooden box.

Staring at the sharp wooden corners covered with copper with wide eyes, sweat dripped from Wen Xiaoyun's forehead.

Suddenly, she noticed something. The streets that were originally paved with stone bricks were now filled with water, which was as deep as a person's ankle.

Wen Xiaoyun raised her head blankly and looked at the blue sky and the big sun scattering scorching light.

She hadn't seen any rain in the past two days. How come the streets were flooded in such a short time?

After raising her headband and looking at the surroundings, Wen Xiaoyun realized that there seemed to be a huge traffic jam on this road, or perhaps it should be said that there was a huge "people" jam.

Most of the pedestrians on the street in front fell into the water, and the sounds of crying and screaming became louder and louder.

There is a young salesman carrying goods, and all the people and goods are folded into the water;

There was an old man pushing a cart, but his thigh was pinned down by the overturned cart, and he was weakly calling for help;

There was a young couple carrying a bundle and falling into a puddle with a baby in their arms. The baby was crying heartbreakingly in her arms. The woman struggled to get up and lift the baby, ignoring the tears on her face.

There were more ordinary passers-by, lying in a mess in the puddles and getting up in a panic;

Before Wen Xiaoyun could figure out what was going on, her whole body flew up and down.

"Ah -" she exclaimed before she could even escape her words, as her face hit a solid chest.

"You're still injured. It won't be good if you get wet or cold." Yin Nuo hugged Wen Xiaoyun and explained forcefully without any explanation.

Wen Xiaoyun closed her eyes and shook her dizzy head vigorously. Only through Yin Nuo's shoulder could she see clearly that the carriage they had been riding in had overturned into the water and could not be used at all for a while.

Yin Nuo held Wen Xiaojun in his arms without stopping. He took two steps forward and walked up to the coachman who was helping the horse lying on its side to stand up. He asked loudly, "Brother, what on earth is going on?"

The coachman put his hat on his head and wiped the water from his face in embarrassment. Then he waved his hand and pointed to the front of the road and answered loudly, "There seems to be a water tanker at the front. I don't know why, but it is facing a group of carriages."

I bumped into it. I thought that this road would be blocked now. I quickly stopped the car and thought about changing to another road. I never expected that a large row of water trucks collided with each other.

, all the water tankers exploded, and there was a flood of water all of a sudden. Those who were making big waves knocked down everyone on the street.

When I was making a U-turn, I bumped into a loaded carriage next to me and overturned."

Yin Nuo instantly darkened his face and looked in the direction pointed by the groom, only to see the buckets on the water trucks overturned to the ground, and the convoy on the opposite side also overturned to the ground. The scene was very chaotic for a time.

Yin Nuo frowned and said in confusion, "How can there be so much water in just those few water trucks?"

Wen Xiaoyun also looked puzzled, "Yes, the huge waves that can knock down the entire street cannot possibly come from those buckets."

At this point, the coachman seemed to remember Bai Yao's previous instructions to him, and quickly turned around, helped Yin Nuo hold Wen Xiaojun's arm, and looked the two of them up and down eagerly, "Are you okay, noble man? Are you okay?

Where did it break?"

Yin Nuo shook his head slightly, "We're fine, brother coachman, can our carriage still be used? I'll help you pull the carriage when I put the torture room at a higher place."

The coachman quickly waved his hand, "You can't do it, but you must not do it. The two noble men will take care of themselves first, and I will pull the horse right away."

Yinnuo looked around and felt that the water under his feet was still surging and was getting deeper and deeper. For a while, he couldn't find any higher place to put Wen Xiaoyun down.

"Cousin, I'm fine," Wen Xiaoyun saw Yinnuo's dilemma and struggled a few times before trying to jump into the water. "Xiaoyun can still withstand this small amount of water."

"Nonsense!" Seeing that Wen Xiaoyun was about to break free from his embrace, Yin Nuo became anxious at that time and hugged Wen Xiaoyun tighter, "You are such a small body, you really caught a cold, my parents will still come back to find you

I'll settle the score!"

Just as the two people were arguing, a more panicked exclamation came from the front.

Yin Nuo and Wen Xiaoyun both raised their heads and looked forward, and saw a group of brightly dressed knights running quickly from the opposite side with splashes of water.

"How could it be him?" Wen Xiaoyun saw it at first sight and wondered aloud.
