"Story? Donor Chen, please tell me." Wu Ming nodded.
Chen Lu thought for a while, nodded, and organized his words:
"Once upon a time, there was an old monk and a young monk traveling far away, and they met a river on the way.
I saw a woman who was about to cross the river, but she didn't dare to cross.
The old monk took the initiative to carry the woman across the river, then put the woman down and continued on the road with the young monk.
The young monk couldn't help muttering all the way: What's wrong with Master? How dare you carry a woman across the river?
The little monk walked and thought, and finally couldn't help it anymore.
The young monk said to the master who was facing him: "Master, have you violated the precepts? Why did you carry a woman on your back?"
The old monk smiled and rubbed the little monk's head: 'I have already let go, but you still can't let go!'"
After listening to this brief story told by Chen Lu, Wu Ming fell into deep thought.
It’s hard for the monks at Leiyin Temple not to want to hear it.
How have you ever seen all the saints in the contemplation? My lover came without inviting me.
It was not the old abbot and Yuan Hui who were eavesdropping.
This can be regarded as the reward for helping me return to Qian Country."
Wu Ming shook his head: "What the Buddha said about cutting off the seven emotions and six desires actually refers to seeing through the world of mortals, because the seven emotions and six desires are external factors and are caused by the relationship between our hearts and the outside world. When the seven emotions and six desires arise, people will easily have discrimination, delusions, and attachments. It will be impossible to continue practicing, let alone achieve enlightenment and attain Buddhahood."
In the story of Taoist friend Wu Ming, the reason why the monk was confused and even fell down was because he was resisting his own heart."
Wu Ming nodded painfully: "Donor Chen, please tell me."
There is no restraint in the struggle for lovesickness, and the desire to be with you is so great.
He is extremely smart and considerate of the world, but he is always at a loss here.
But there is one thing that I have always been curious about. I wonder if Fellow Taoist Wuming can answer it?"
I only pursue what I want.
But the old abbot knew that this poem was definitely written by an enlightened monk, and it was indeed unlikely that it was written by Mr. Chen, because to write this poem, one must have a deep understanding of Buddhism.
However, a senior wrote a poem, which may be of some inspiration to fellow Taoist Wuming.
But how can a person see through the world of mortals if he has never even experienced it?"
Seeing Wu Ming frowning, Chen Lu said.
"As I said, after all, I am not a monk, I am just an ordinary person, and I am not pursuing Buddhahood.
Wu Ming's mind is extremely unstable, and even his current state of Guanhai is on the verge of collapse.
"Then from the perspective of Benefactor Chen, how should he choose? Isn't it wrong to choose the Buddha in his heart and give up the worldly emotions and desires?" Wu Ming looked at Chen Lu painfully.
"Amitabha."
Wu Ming replied: "What the Buddha said."
I have the intention to go to the forest with my begging bowl, but I am disappointed with the beauty.
"Fellow Taoist Wuming, it's useless for you to ask me.
"Yes." Chen Lu nodded, "There is one last sentence, but I'm afraid you need to understand this sentence yourself."
Even the well-informed old abbot has never heard of this poem.
I once worried that being passionate would harm my holy life, and when I entered the mountains, I was afraid that I would not be able to fall in love with the city."
Wu Ming is questioning himself, questioning everything he has learned so far, and questioning his own beliefs.
"Yes, there is the last sentence."
Chen Lu looked directly into Wu Ming's eyes.
"But I think there are quite a few differences between the story you told, Wu Ming, and the story I told."
"The monk in the story has Buddha and a girl in his heart.
Having said this, Chen Lu stopped talking and just looked at Wu Ming with a smile.
I want to lean against the green window and accompany you, but I regret my misguided life.
"Beauty is not born from a mother's womb, but grows from a peach tree.
The peach blossoms that have been hated are easy to fall, but the falling flowers are more sentimental than yours.
"I didn't say anything wrong."
"What's the last sentence?" Yuan Hui felt itchy in her heart!
Although this poem is all about love and love, it is because this poem is really good.
The old abbot smiled slightly: "Wait, wait for your junior brother, see if he can tell you."
He cannot give up, cannot escape, and can only be confused. Therefore, his mood is damaged and he can only fall into the situation.
"Buddhist countries say that becoming a Buddha requires cutting off the seven emotions and six desires. Who said that?" Chen Lu asked.
Wu Ming, who was savoring the poem, opened his eyes and asked doubtfully: "Almsgiver Chen, is there a last sentence in this poem?"
He knew that he was a monk, so he wanted to give up the girl and pursue the Buddha in his heart.
"Master?" Yuan Hui walked to the old abbot's side, "Is there a last line in this poem?"
He went to the mountain to pay homage to a Taoist monk and asked the guru to explain the cause.
Chen Lu put his hands behind his back and read slowly.
I am just an envoy of the Qian Kingdom.
I don’t understand Buddhism and I am not attached to Buddha.
Wu Ming opened his mouth slightly, wanting to say something.
The old abbot nodded.
Practice stillness and contemplation in quiet time, and see the lover hanging in front of you.
If we put this mind into learning the Tao, what is the difficulty in becoming a Buddha?
We are of the same mind and have a long relationship. Although this life is short and lingering,
On the day when I meet you again in the next life, I am a young man facing the wind in a jade tree.
Not observing birth and death and impermanence, but looking towards death in reincarnation,
"Of course, this is just my personal opinion."
"If junior brother can realize it," Yuan Hui glanced at the old abbot.
Fellow Taoist Wu Ming just said that he has seen through the world of mortals.
And this kind of doubt will make his mind collapse.
The wild horse on the mountain is difficult to tame, and it is hard to control him even if he is caught in a trap.
I lament that my magical powers are empty and full, and I cannot tame the person beside my pillow.
Chen Lu: "But a person who has lost even the seven emotions and six desires, is such a Buddha the cold and aloof Buddha statue, or the Buddha who truly feels the suffering of all people and cares about the common people?
Chen Lu shook his head and said.
But he found that the girl already occupied as important a position in his heart as Buddha.
Wuming put his hands together and said, "Amitabha, Wuming listens."
But when Chen Lu recited this poem, it caused bursts of Buddhist sounds in the hall of Leiyin Temple.
"."
I am not that monk.
In the Leiyin Temple, the old abbot put his hands together and saluted in the direction of Chen Lu.
But he couldn't refute it.
Sit quietly and practice contemplation to open your eyes, and pray to the Three Jewels to descend on the spiritual platform.
Chen Lu asked again: "Then why did the Buddha say that one must cut off the seven emotions and six desires in order to become a Buddha?"
"In my story, the old monk and the woman have no feelings. The old monk has Buddha in his heart, so the old monk just carries the woman across the river. He is doing a good deed. In his heart, he is not carrying a woman, but a woman. It is a Buddha.
But in the story of Wu Ming You, in the heart of the monk, there is not only the Buddha, but also the girl.
In my opinion, he has not truly faced his own heart."
Chen Lu smiled again.
"If your junior brother can realize it."
The old abbot smiled slightly.
"Amitabha."
[I will post one chapter first, there are three more chapters, but it will be a little later, I will revise it.]
