The summer is hot, the sun shines on the earth, and there are cool breezes in the air from time to time, gently blowing the light yellow curtains, and in the side room, the music of the piano sounds, floating in the wind.
Princess Zhen Xue of Beijing was sitting in front of the window, with her soft and watery eyes under her beautiful eyebrows in a daze. The sound of the piano seemed to be a bit complicated, and it was clear that the person playing the piano was in a very uneasy mood.
"Mom, my godfather said yesterday that he was leaving today." Shui Xin raised a pretty face and said in a sweet voice.
Zhen Xue raised her eyes to look at her daughter. Her watery eyes were blank for a moment, and she said softly: "We will see you again in a while."
When she went to pick up Xinxin yesterday, the man didn't show his face and seemed to really not want to see her. Did she do something wrong? Why did she treat her like that...
That's right, I've already taken advantage of her, and I'm tired of it.
Shui Xinnuo said: "My godfather told me a story before he left, but he hasn't finished it yet."
Zhen Xue's jade-like face showed a look of absence. Beiqi pursed her lips and couldn't help stroking the ring in her hand. Although she knew she shouldn't, there was still a feeling of resentment in her heart.
Since there is no relationship, why would you give her this? I really want to take it off and throw it away.
Thinking of this, she gently rolled up the ring on her hand, but the young lady Hua Xin hesitated for a moment and made no move after all. She sighed quietly in her heart.
At this moment, the voice of a female official came from outside, saying: "Princess, Princess Chu is here."
Zhen Xue's jade face changed slightly, she put away the trace of sadness in her heart, stared at her, and said softly: "Go and welcome the person in."
"Auntie is here." Shui Xin said with joy on her face. The little girl's worries went away as quickly as they came.
After a while, Princess Chu Zhen Qing, accompanied by her mammy and female officials, entered the wing room. This beauty was wearing a red dress and gorgeous clothes. Her face was gorgeous and even charming. Although she was not wearing heavy makeup, she was already visible.
Somewhat bright.
"Sister, why are you here?" Zhen Xue looked at Zhen Qing in surprise and asked in a condensed voice.
Zhen Qing said softly: "The news just came from Jinling, the old lady is not in good health."
"What...what is going on? Things were better a year ago." Zhen Xue felt anxious, holding Zhen Qing's hand and asked.
Zhen Qing sighed: "I am getting old and my body is not feeling well. Now, according to the doctor, it seems that the weather is hot and humid, and my heart feels stuffy, and I often can't breathe."
Zhen Yingjia's mother was quite old. She entered the palace at a young age and suffered a lot. She had just passed her eightieth birthday. As she got older, she started to suffer from headaches and fever. She had an old disease.
Zhen Xue frowned and asked, "What should I do, sister?"
Zhen Qing sighed and said: "What my mother meant is that at the age of the old lady, it is difficult to talk about some things. The road has been peaceful in the past two years. It is for us sisters to take the children to take the time to go to Jinling so that we can visit.
Grandma, it happens to be summer and the weather is warm. Is it possible for my sister to go there?"
Sisters Zhen Qing and Zhen Xue were almost brought up by Mrs. Zhen's side. Now Mrs. Zhen's health is not good, and her two granddaughters are thinking about marrying away to Shenjing, so a letter came to call them.
Zhen Xue sighed and said: "The prince is still in Datong and has not returned yet, otherwise it would be nice to go back together."
Zhen Qing said softly: "Sister, I can't wait for my brother-in-law. The prince can't get away this time, so I just want to go to Jinling. Sister, the old lady loves us two a lot. She didn't visit last year.
It’s time to go back and take a look this year.”
Zhen Xuegai nodded and said softly: "Sister said so, but I still have to tell my mother-in-law about this matter."
In fact, she also wanted to go home and have a look. In this noble and luxurious palace, she felt like a prison without freedom.
"Princess Beijing will definitely agree. This is the ultimate principle of filial piety." Zhen Qing smiled sweetly and said softly: "Then I have prepared the boat, selected some guards, and will return to Ningjinling on a selected day."
Shui Xin blinked his big black grape-like eyes and said softly, "Mom, we can go south together on my godfather's boat."
When Zhen Qing heard this, her beautiful eyebrows condensed, her phoenix eyes looked at Zhen Xue with a gloomy face, and asked: "Sister, Uncle Yong Ning has also gone south?"
In the past two or three days, Zhen Qing was busy arranging things in Beijing, and she really didn't pay much attention to Jia Heng's movements.
Zhen Xue looked a little unnatural and said softly: "I heard that I am going to Yangzhou for business. I heard Xinxin and her godmother said it before."
When Zhen Qing heard this, a light of understanding flashed through her eyes, and she asked casually: "Going to Yangzhou? What are you going to Yangzhou for?"
Suddenly, before Zhen Xue could respond silently, a bright light flashed through Zhen Qing's heart.
Yes, there was a fire in the archives of Yangzhou Salt Transportation Department not long ago, and public opinion in Shenjing was aroused. It was also during such a sensitive period when the court was rectifying salt affairs, and that bastard actually went to Yangzhou. So, wouldn't it be like facing a formidable enemy over there?
?
No wonder, no wonder... The old lady must have noticed some rumors, so she asked her mother to send a letter to visit her relatives in Guining?
The so-called prophet of spring water, the Zhen family has other information channels to spy on some of Emperor Chongping's thoughts and movements in the palace. Of course, the old lady of the Zhen family is indeed not in good health, and she misses her two granddaughters who are princesses in Beijing.
This is also the main reason.
"Sister, it's not too late. The sooner we do it, the better." With this thought in Zhen Qing's mind, she became a little impatient. She had experienced the bastard's methods. If she went to Yangzhou, she would probably cause a stir.
The bloody storm.
Zhen Xue nodded, with a gloomy look on her frosty jade face. Will she encounter him when she goes south to her hometown in Jinling? There is also a long distance between Jinling and Yangzhou, so most of them will not be able to encounter him.
Zhen Qing suddenly remembered something, looked at Zhen Xue with a half-smile, and said: "Sister, Uncle Yongning is in Yangzhou, and he must go to the Jinling household department to conduct an investigation. Then he and Xinxin may meet again as father and daughter."
Zhen Xue: "..."
Shui Xin's face showed anticipation and she said, "Auntie, do you want to see your godfather?"
Zhen Qing pinched the little Loli's pink cheeks and said with a smile: "Yes."
Zhen Xue listened to the conversation between the two and sighed quietly in her heart.
…
…
On the river, the boat raised its slightly swollen sail and sailed on the vast expanse of blue waves. The surging river water roared on both sides of the boat, and the blue-white water flowed towards the distance. This road passed by Chen Hantai.
The channel dredged by the ancestors and Emperor Taizong led directly to Tongguan, and then turned around the Yellow River and headed south, directly reaching the land of Huaiyang.
Cabin, on the second floor——
Jia Heng lifted up the curtain and looked far into the distance, looking at the sunset passing quickly outside the boat and the winding green mountains. He couldn't help but feel comfortable. He said softly: "Sister Lin, look at this sunset scene, it's really what Bai Letian said."
, a ray of setting sun spreads over the water, half the river is red in radius."
Daiyu looked at the scenery and whispered: "The green mountains are still there, and the sunsets are red several times."
Jia Heng turned to look at the girl with beautiful eyebrows and asked, "Why is Sister Lin chanting this poem?"
Who said Daiyu couldn't talk? He talked about the sunset, and then turned to the poem he wrote. This was a girl taking the initiative to find a topic.
Under the smoky eyebrows of Daiyu, those starry eyes shine brightly. The setting sun shines through the bamboo curtains on her soft and fair face. A red rope is wrapped around her beautiful neck, and the sheep charm tied at the end is on the milky white lamb.
It is soaked with sweat beads and powder.
The girl's pink lips parted slightly, and she said softly: "I didn't know much about the artistic conception of this poem before, but today I heard boats sailing on the river, with warships guarding the left and right, and I seem to have a deep understanding of it."
Jia Heng said: "That was the emotion I had when I was writing the history of the Three Kingdoms."
Daiyu stared at the young man, with curiosity on her face, and asked softly: "How come Brother Heng knows so many stories? I just listened to "Flowers in the Mirror", and it seemed like I could read a storybook at any time."
Why do you have so many stories in your heart? It seems like you can never finish them in a lifetime... Hmm?
Jia Heng picked up the tea cup and said softly: "I have been influenced by it since I was a child. I heard that if there were many books, I would compile them. If I hadn't joined the army, I would have made a living by writing books."
Daiyu raised her eyes to look at the young man, her starry eyes sparkling, and said softly: "Brother Heng, even if he is not a general, I think he can become famous all over the world by writing books."
Jia Heng chuckled lightly, shook his head and said, "Bai Wuyi is just a scholar. Maybe he is unknown and unknown."
Daiyu said softly: "Brother Heng is extremely talented and charming. He is in the bag, but you can see the end immediately."
As a young man who had witnessed the young man in front of him from being a commoner in Liutiao Hutong in Ningguofu to today, Daiyu felt no less emotional than ordinary people. She just didn't pay much attention to it before, but after paying attention to it, she would feel that it was almost a life legend.
Since the founding of the country, there has been such a figure since the founding of the country.
Jia Heng cast his warm eyes on Daiyu and joked with a smile: "I'm a little unaccustomed to my sister being so complimentary to others."
Talking to Daiyu has happened before, but it is much rarer to be alone like this. The young girl is not as sharp as Lin Tao in the past.
But what can I say? Women are all born actors. Who knows what kind of acting they will be as time goes by and the mystery dissipates?
When Daiyu heard this, she couldn't help but feel a sense of shame in her heart. Ruyu's cheeks were slightly red, and her hands hidden under her sleeves gently twisted the handkerchief and whispered: "What Brother Heng said seems to be like what I usually say."
He's used to being mean and mean, and his eyes seem to grow to his forehead."
In the mind of the person in front of me, is she the one who is waiting for Xiaoxing?
Jia Heng smiled and said softly: "The one with eyes that reach his forehead is Erlang Shen."
Daiyu still has the same temperament, but he is still him after all. Daiyu is still restraining her temperament, and it is unlikely that she will act like a girlfriend.
Dai Yusu held the handkerchief in her hand, looked at Jia Heng with shining eyes, and said with annoyance and anger: "Brother Heng turns out to be able to make fun of people."
Jia Heng said softly: "I have always known that Sister Lin has a straightforward temperament. Although sometimes she is outspoken and quick-hearted, her heart is kind and as clear as crystal. I remember the first time I met my sister..."
When Daiyu heard the words, she clenched the handkerchief tightly with her hand hidden in her sleeve, turned her head slightly, and turned her shy face towards the young man, while the emerald earrings on her earlobes shone brightly, as if "You continue to talk"
, I'm listening".
No one is not curious about other people's evaluation of themselves, especially Jia Heng, the patriarch of the Ning and Rong mansions.
This doesn't even have anything to do with the ignorant romantic thoughts of youth, but is determined by Jia Heng's current status in the world.
Just like Liu Xianglian's surprise in the past: "I didn't expect Mr. Ming to know my name?"
Seeing Jia Heng's silence, Daiyu pursed her pink lips, but finally couldn't hold it back and whispered: "What happened when we first met?"
Jia Heng said: "My sister looked at the worries hidden between her eyebrows. She frowned and her eyes were gloomy."
Daiyu was silent for a moment, looking at the young man with bright starry eyes, her delicate eyebrows slightly wrinkled, and asked: "What Brother Heng said...is the time Brother Heng went to Rongqing Hall for the first time?"
She remembered that it was probably the first time she saw him. The young man in front of her was like a clanging sword, and he would rather break than bend.
Jia Heng said warmly: "No, I guess it was after I returned from suppressing the rebellion. At that time, the old lady introduced some younger sisters."
He picked up the tea cup and took a sip. Why did he keep talking about this with Daiyu?
But sometimes young men and women chat together and just talk about whatever comes to mind.
"Who would have thought that I was a poor talker and was annoying, just disappointing Brother Heng." Daiyu lowered her eyebrows, pursed her lips slightly, and said in a cute voice.
She had certainly heard a lot of gossips made by the wives and maids of Ning and Rong Houses about her, and they even compared her with Sister Bao.
Jia Heng said: "Why did my sister say that?"
Daiyu gently stroked a braid under her beautiful neck, looked at the bamboo curtain aside, and whispered: "They are not as good at talking as Yun Yatou and Sister Bao, and they are not as smart and capable as the third sister."
These are the people in front of him who usually like to interact with each other, especially the third sister, who is quite popular with him.
Jia Heng said softly: "Everyone has a different temperament. It is said that the same rice feeds hundreds of people. The world is so colorful. People are like spring orchids and autumn chrysanthemums. They have their own temperaments. If everyone is the same, it doesn't make sense anymore? Besides,
Sister Lin has a pure mind and true love. I saw that Xiangyun and her sister were very close. Sister Xue and Sister Lin were also as close as sisters. I knew my sister’s character as pure as gold. I also knew my sister’s temperament. As for sister
There is no one else in the world who can be liked by everyone else."
Women generally talk about their shortcomings, not waiting for you to say "yeah", and then what should you do or what kind of rational analysis, but to seek comfort. Of course, at this time, they can hit their emotional needs with reason, that is,
It reaches people’s hearts.
Daiyu's heart trembled slightly when she heard this. Under Chunshan's dark eyebrows, her watery starry eyes looked at the young man and whispered: "Brother Heng..."
Pure in mind and sincere in love? She seems to be like this. It's not that she can't do it, she just feels like she can't do it. She always feels that she doesn't... somewhat hypocritical and untrue.
Jia Heng looked at the girl who was lost in thought. In fact, compared to Baochai's worldly knowledge, Daiyu's reputation among servants in the mansion was indeed not high. Let's talk about it.
It's not that he is discriminating against servants, but that servants who want to be recognized by Daiyu must be different from ordinary people.
He had gotten to know Baochai in depth, and she was indeed very good at talking. Maybe in the original work, Baoyu was a bit harsh like Sister Baochai, but in front of him, she was as gentle as water, even a little cautious, and she thought she had a good hidden secret.
, in his eyes, they are mostly invisible, even a little cute.
He is still a little unsure about the temperament of Daiyu, who is also the number one among the twelve hairpins. It remains to be seen whether she is a temptress or not.
Jia Heng suppressed the thoughts in his heart and said softly: "Brother Heng, not everyone likes you and hates him. I don't know how many people hate him and gnash their teeth."
I don't know why, but I suddenly thought of Princess Chu Zhen Qing. She looked like she couldn't stand the humiliation every time, and she gnashed her teeth at him. Most of her heart wanted to eat his meat, and she would definitely let Zhen Qing taste it if she had the chance.
Listening to the young man's comforting words, Daiyu felt filled with shame and joy, and whispered: "Brother Heng's quarrels with others over national affairs are different from ordinary matters in the back house."
Jia Heng chuckled lightly, his eyes were a little deeper, his voice was as smooth as jade, and he said slowly: "Actually, it's no different. National affairs are often subject to disputes of temperament, and speaking out about an official's impeachment memorial is like a shrew scolding the street."
In fact, this is the vulgarization of politics.
Daiyu looked at the young man with a smile on his face, especially the young man's clear and handsome face and the eyes that concealed the beautiful mountains and rivers, forming a strong contrast that she could not describe.
The girl has never said so many words to Jia Heng as she does now. Previously, she was cared for by her elders and lacked some sense of life. To put it bluntly, she was too high-minded, but not as good as Baoyu who was beside her.
It was a slap in the face, but now it has just stepped down from the altar and lost some of its halo.
And the charm of a mature man with a successful career, that kind of self-confidence and calmness from the inside out, or the man's tone, is itself a fatal danger.
If you happen to be young and promising, and abandon the barrier of appearance association, even a royal daughter would have a hard time resisting this. After running away for half your life, you will still have the demeanor of a young man when you return.
Jia Heng said warmly: "So my sister doesn't have to think about what is and isn't. I will be able to go home and see my uncle soon. Isn't my sister happy?"
Daiyu frowned slightly and said quietly: "I am even more timid when I'm close to my hometown. I don't dare to ask anyone."
Jia Heng: "..."
Seeing the speechless expression on the young man's face, Daiyu couldn't help but smile, and for some reason, she covered her mouth and smiled softly, and quickly turned her head away, like a shy lotus.
She was not sad for spring and autumn. Willows piled up in smoke, and her gloomy eyebrows dimly appeared before her eyes...
Jia Heng looked at the girl with undulating autumn hair under her smoky eyebrows, and said with a chuckle: "How nice is it that my sister is like this? When she smiles, she even has a dimple."
Daiyu lowered her head slightly, and her hands in her sleeves had already clenched the handkerchief tightly. For a moment, her heart rippled slightly, and she said softly: "Where are the dimples? Sister Yun only has dimples when she smiles."
The dimples are indeed cute and bright, and the person in front of her often pinches Sister Yun’s cheeks.
Jia Heng said softly: "Although I don't have a faint smile, my smile is still as bright as a flower."
When I took a closer look just now, it should be a shallow dimple formed by the apple of my mouth at the right corner of my mouth, but it is indeed not a dimple.
When Daiyu heard this, she was greatly ashamed. Xiafei's cheeks and drooped eyebrows darted back and forth at the words, but she didn't know how to answer these words.
Zicuckoo was listening on the side, with a cheerful smile on her face. As expected, the uncle looked at the girl differently.
Yuanyang looked at the two of them quietly, and his eyes were also on the young man, with a look of thought on his slender face.
Jia Heng picked up the tea cup, lowered his eyes and took a sip. He could not continue teasing Daiyu, but turned to look out the window at the rivers and mountains, and said to Qingwen: "Go and get the chess, Sister Lin and I will play.
One round, and then we’ll have dinner in the evening.”
Qingwen responded in a low voice, glanced at the girl with picturesque features and a charm that resembled her own, and hummed in her heart. She was as young as Miss Lin, and yet the young master also liked her so much. It was extremely rare.
Also teach her how to read and write? When she is older, I will hold her in her arms and take a bath.
Hum, it’s just love for the house and the crow, and the love for the queen...
Seeing Jia Heng drinking tea in silence and looking into the distance, Dai Yu looked at the stern and erect face. Under her sword-shaped eyebrows, her eyes seemed to hide a cold light, as quiet as a statue.
It was a kind of "people are in front of you, and your heart is in the sky", a mood of loneliness with a bit of sadness. It was a feeling that the girl had never experienced, or in other words, the young girl had never been in contact with other men.
They were chatting and joking one moment, and thinking about national affairs the next, instead of smiling playfully one second and throwing psychic gems the next.
Daiyu was silent for a moment and asked softly: "Brother Heng is thinking about Yangzhou?"
Jia Heng nodded and said slowly: "My uncle has been in Yangzhou for several years, and people there dare to commit murder. Is there anything else they dare not do?"
The Yangzhou salt merchants raised dead soldiers and used them as minions. The danger of destruction was increasing, so they would inevitably take risks. He was thinking of a breakthrough.
"Daddy, he is over there in Yangzhou, but has he received the letter from us going south?" Daiyu thought for a moment, frowned slightly, and asked with a focused gaze.
Jia Heng said softly: "We have sent people to fly pigeons to deliver the letter to Yangzhou. When we are on the way, Yangzhou will receive the letter."
"Brother Heng, do you think the matter in Yangzhou is difficult?" Daiyu considered her words, looked at the young man with a calm face, and said with worry.
My father and I both went to Yangzhou to handle this matter, and we didn’t know how many dangers were hidden there.
Jia Heng turned to look at Daiyu, smiled and said: "Fortunately, when we are in Luoyang and Kaifeng Mansion, we will stop there to replenish some rice, grains, fruits and vegetables."
Some things must be prepared in advance. The southern troops may not be reliable, and the Henan government guards can send troops to support them when needed.
Daiyu looked at the young man with a calm face and said softly: "Brother Heng has gone to Yangzhou, so you should be careful."
Jia Heng nodded and said with a smile: "When we get to Yangzhou, Sister Lin, a local, will have to fulfill her duty as a landlord."
Daiyu said softly: "Brother Heng, I didn't remember much when I was a child, but I can take Brother Heng to visit some famous places."
While they were talking, Qingwen brought chess over, and the two of them played chess and talked briefly. The summer was long and the heat was scorching.
The boat with its sails filled by the wind rode along the sparkling water waves, riding the wind and waves, and headed eastward like an arrow from the string in the bloody setting sun. Above the sky, the sky was high and the clouds were clear, and a gray dove flew by.
White clouds as white as cotton are flying towards the south.
Like the willows in the river, the lush green mountains are reflected in the distant river. The sky is reflected in the sky. Under the setting sun, the stars and herons rise. Suddenly, the sun and the moon rotate, and the light and shadow are intertwined. Looking back suddenly, it is already a few days later, Yangzhou thousands of miles away.
——
On the bank of Slender West Lake, a manor with green walls and brackets and flying eaves stands tall in the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River. In the manor, there are pavilions and pavilions, jagged rocks, and beautiful paintings of pines, cypresses, and sycamores, which become more prosperous in the hazy rain and mist.
depressed.
In the four-column and octagonal pavilion, with a "click" sound, on a chess board, a black horse kicked off the red cannon, and the word "general" sounded.
Wang Shouqi, who was wearing a silk uniform, retracted his hand and reached out to pick up the tea cup on the stone table beside him. He lowered his head and sipped the tea, but his old eyes under his thin eyebrows were still looking at the young man playing chess opposite.
.
Xiao Hongsheng frowned, thinking hard in his eyes. For a moment, helplessness appeared on his young and elegant face, and he raised his hands and said: "The old man is a master of chess. This game was lost to the younger generation."
Wang Shouqi put down the tea cup, smiled, and said: "If you hadn't taken that rook just now, you wouldn't have lost so quickly. The most taboo thing in chess is greed. If you are greedy for temporary gains, you will lose everything."
Xiao Hongsheng thought for a moment, his eyes became more solemn, and he said in a low voice: "Younger generation, please be taught."
Wang Shouqi had a smile on his old face and said, "Okay, let's go down here today. What's the matter with you coming here to see me?"
Xiao Hongsheng looked solemn and said in a deep voice: "The news from Jinling is that the old lady of the Zhen family will not have many good days."
When Wang Shouqi heard this, the smile on his face faded a little, and he sighed and said: "Time is not forgiving. So many years have passed in a flash, and it is no longer enough to refuse to accept old age."
Xiao Hongsheng asked: "Old sir, the people over at Jinling are not stopping either."
Wang Shouqi smiled and asked casually: "What new strategy has Grand Scholar Qi thought of?"
"The clues to the account books at the transportation warehouse have been broken. There is no movement at the moment for the Grand Scholar of Qi. However, in the previous case of reselling official grain, relevant officials from the Nanjing Ministry of Revenue have been questioned. The Nanjing Cangchang Minister and the Doctor have also been interrogated."
Xiao Hongsheng lowered his voice and said.
Wang Shouqi frowned, and his old face was full of solemnity.
At this moment, a housekeeper from outside quickly ran over and said, "Master, Master Cheng is here."
Wang Shouqi's expression changed slightly, he looked at Xiao Hongsheng and said, "Follow me to greet you."
Entering the flower hall, he saw Cheng Peili getting up, with a look of anxiety on his face, and whispered: "Mr. Wang, there is news from the capital that the commander in chief, Yongning Bo Jiaheng, has gone south."
When Wang Shouqi heard this, he was shocked and asked, "When did the news about this happen?"
Wang Shouqi also had a secret channel, but he was delayed for some unknown reason and had not arrived in time to deliver it. Instead, Ma Xianjun's people got the news first.
Cheng Peili said: "It was the flying pigeon in Beijing that sent the message. Yongning Bo Jiaheng went south a few days ago. I don't know what kind of errands he was able to do, but he led a large number of Jinyi palace guards, most of whom came to Yangzhou."
Wang Shouqi heard this and said in shock: "Does anyone else know?"
Cheng Peili said: "Lao Ma and Lao Huang knew about it, and they both thought it was someone who came with bad intentions."
Wang Shouqi paced back and forth. After a while, he looked at Cheng Peili and said in a low voice: "Calm down first. Even if you are coming for us, you can't act recklessly. Later, let's get together to discuss it."
Seeing this scene, Xiao Hongsheng felt a layer of gloom in his heart. He was really afraid that something might happen. Uncle Yongning had really gone south to organize the salt affairs.
Just when the Yangzhou salt merchants went south on official business for Jia Heng, they were faced with a formidable enemy, and Jia Heng's ship also arrived at Luoyang City smoothly.
Officials of the Henan Prefecture who set up offices in Luoyang City also got the news first that Jinyi Tiqi had brought the former Governor of Henan, the great Han Yongning Bo Jiaheng, to the border.
Needless to say, these important privy ministers must have had imperial orders.
The military administration of Henan was headed by Meng Jinwen, Yin of the Henan Prefecture, and Zhou Dong, commander of the Henan Guards. The latter was a general from the Beijing camp. He had fought against Gao Yue, but it was not a crime of war at that time, so he remained as the guard commander in Henan afterwards.
In fact, after the Central Plains Rebellion, the entire Henan Dusi Guard Army was reorganized and basically consisted of the former Beijing Camp Guoyong Camp.
