Chapter Eleven Can't Escape

Green heaven and earth, green world.

Resisting the dizziness, Xiaolan held on to something. A green halo was spinning desperately in front of her eyes. Her legs were trembling, as if she was about to float. She wanted to vomit. She really wanted to vomit.

Why is this happening? Stop it.

quick……

As soon as her feet were in the air, a clear feeling of falling spread throughout her body, and the subtle touch of her body passing through the air woke her up.

Xiaolan's eyes widened, trying to catch something to stop her fall.

It's going to fall. It's going to fall.

"Wow!"

With all four feet facing the sky, Xiaolan finally touched the real ground.

Listening to the sound just now, Xiaolan couldn't feel her pain. She only felt that her surroundings were soft and her nose was filled with the fragrance of dry leaves.

Xiaolan felt no pain at all. She threw away the things covering her face and opened her eyes.

A small round patch of green sky.

Surrounded by green stone walls covered with vines, Xiao Lanping could reach from one end to the other with his hands raised. There were dried fallen leaves and flowers piled under his feet, which felt soft when he stepped on them, as if he were walking on clouds.

The green sky above our heads is part of a tree crown, and autumn flowers are still growing on the tree crown, lazily blocking Xiaolan's sight.

But the situation is not as romantic as imagined.

Xiaolan is underground.

It was such a deep well. The sky at the mouth of the well had shrunk to the size of a palm. Xiaolan smelled the smell and recalled herself before the fall, which made her more certain of her current situation.

I am dreaming.

There are real feelings and pain in the dream, this urge to escape like being trapped in hell.

She seemed to have returned to the dreamland where she saw the boundary monument.

When she thought of the boundary monument, Xiao Lan got excited. This time she had to see the boundary monument. The last time she looked across the mountains, it was too far away, and Xiaolan couldn't see what the boundary monument really looked like.

Get out of this well.

Thinking like this, Xiaolan was suddenly filled with strength. She stepped on both sides of the well wall with her feet, grabbed the vines with her hands, and moved towards the well mouth little by little.

The walls of the well are covered with lush moss and algae. Every time you move, your feet will slip.

The well seemed to get bigger and bigger as it went up. Xiaolan's hands were almost not long enough. There was still some distance to climb from the well mouth. It seemed that this method would not work for the time being.

bad stomach ache.

Xiaolan was startled by the sudden abdominal pain and twitched. Her feet immediately became weak and she could no longer push on the slippery well wall.

Holding on to a section of vines on the side wall, Xiaolan's whole body was half hanging on the well wall.

After exerting a lot of strength, she finally managed to catch a thick vine with her trembling feet. She could lie down and rest for a while at the edge of the trumpet-shaped well mouth.

My stomach still hurts so much that my whole body is scratching my head and making me anxious. It is a pain that Xiaolan has never experienced before. It always continues without giving anyone a chance to relieve it.

Not yet able to regain her strength, Xiaolan stayed on the spot and panted.

Look up, there is still a short distance to go, maybe you can do it in one go...

There was a feeling of something flowing on her thigh. Xiaolan didn't have the ability to take any action to see what happened. She just wanted to use her strength again and push herself out of the well.

Lift your left leg.

it hurts!

It hurts so much!

The pain at that moment seemed to paralyze Xiaolan's whole body, and her hands that were holding on to the vines lost consciousness at the moment. Xiaolan looked desperately at the wellhead getting farther and farther away from her, and fell to the bottom of the well again.

Ah! Belly!

It hurts like I'm about to die.

Xiaolan tried her best to lift her upper body to see what had happened to her, but she saw that her clothes from her belly to her knees were soaked in blood.

What's wrong with me?

The fear of not being able to escape was not as powerful as the impact this scene had on her. Xiaolan was confused and in pain. Her whole body was wrapped in severe pain, and she could only squeeze out a few weak calls for help from between her teeth.

"Help..."

The pleas for help and moans echoed in the dry well, and may not reach the forest at all. No one came to save her, only herself.

Xiaolan lay like a corpse at the bottom of the well. All the strength in her body seemed to have been drained away. Now it was difficult to even call for help, and she couldn't even move her fingers.

Looking up at the green sky, Xiaolan just hoped that this was indeed a dream and prayed that this nightmare would end soon.

The sky was getting darker, and Xiaolan was still awake. She couldn't feel the time passing by, but she could feel the pain getting weaker little by little.

She lost a lot of blood and had no strength at all, but the pain was gone, and Xiaolan regained some hope.

She gritted her teeth and straightened her upper body, leaning against the well wall, breathing heavily.

Once the oxygen comes in a little bit, the strength will be restored a little bit.

Try harder, try harder.

Xiaolan grabbed the vines high up with all her strength, biting her teeth on the vines, dragging her legs bit by bit.

She was able to stand up! She was about to cry. The feeling of bleeding disappeared. Maybe there was no blood left to bleed. The strength in her legs was also returning. She tremblingly hooked a vine with her feet and finally moved a little higher.

A little bit is good.

Xiaolan dragged her weakened self and long blood marks, inch by inch, towards the wellhead.

The green sky had already turned black, and there was no moonlight in the well. Xiaolan couldn't see anything. She could only rely on her hands to fumble around, looking for the next vine she could rely on.

I don’t know how far I am from the wellhead now.

Suddenly, there were some sounds in the quiet forest.

Xiaolan held her breath and stopped moving her hands to make sure she heard correctly.

It was the sound of footsteps, the footsteps of several people, accompanied by low voices, coming from far and near.

somebody is coming!

"Help……"

Xiaolan's voice was only a little thin. She finally saw hope and saw the fire brought by the hurried footsteps.

It turned out that there was only such a short distance to the wellhead. Under the light of the fire, Xiaolan saw the owners of the footsteps surrounding the wellhead. Xiaolan showed a happy and bitter smile, and she was finally saved.

Xiaolan stretched out her right hand towards the man in front of her.

But what was waiting for her was not the help from the other hand.

The man spat and kicked Xiao Lan hard on the shoulder.

"Bah, damn woman."

Xiaolan's eyes widened in disbelief, and her body slid down a few inches uncontrollably.

"Why!"

This time, the man didn't speak.

What answered her was the oncoming fire. The torch ignited the dead leaves and vines, spread to her clothes, and burned her skin.

She couldn't hold on anymore.

The man cursed one last time and threw the blazing torch at her. The group of people stood up and disappeared.

The sound of crackling flames surrounded her. Under the embrace of the flames, she finally saw clearly the flower trees at the mouth of the well and the green sky. The beautiful colors entangled in her eyes and gradually turned into dazzling red.

She fell into the flames towards the flames.

"No!"
