Chapter 49 Come to ask for advice

When Yu Shu opened her eyes, she found herself in a woods.

It is said to be a forest, but the trees here are somewhat sparse, and there are more lush bushes in clusters.

Suddenly, she heard an extremely small cat meowing intermittently.

Yu Shu frowned slightly and walked towards that place without revealing anything. Suddenly, a kitten as long as Yu Shu's forearm stumbled out.

Yu Shu looked at the little kitten, which was walking in a messy manner, with its head lowered and not looking at the road. It bumped into Yu Shu's calf, and then sat down on the ground with a 'snap'.

She pinched the back of the kitten's neck and lifted it up. The kitten was covered in white fur, with zebra-like patterns on its body. It purred like a cat, had a tiger-like head, and had four thick paws.

After lifting it up, Yu Shu suddenly realized something was wrong, and strands of donated blood dripped down the hair on its abdomen.

Yu Shu frowned, looked up and looked around.

There were no signs of a fight around. I really don't know how the little kitten was injured.

"Ouch~" The little kitten meowed sadly again.

Yu Shu hurriedly held it in her arms and patted her head comfortingly, "Be good, be good."

She raised her spiritual power and walked quickly towards the place where the sound of water was heard. After a while, she saw a small winding stream.

Yu Shu walked to the shore and put down the kitten. When she saw the kitten's injury, she took a breath of cold air.

The kitten's entire abdomen was penetrated by three long claw marks.

Yu Shu tore off a piece of cloth from the corner of her clothes and put it into the stream to wet it. She carefully wiped the wound of the kitten and cleaned up the blood.

The little kitten let out a few weak whimpers from time to time, which made Yu Shu frown even more tightly and move faster.

After the wound was a little cleaner, Yu Shu eagerly took out the wound medicine from the Qiankun Ring.

But when Yu Shu raised her hand and saw that her hand was bare, she was suddenly startled.

At this moment, Yu Shu suddenly realized that there was no 037 around.

"It's a dream again?" Yu Shu frowned in great distress and murmured.

The next second, bursts of laughter suddenly came to her ears, and Yu Shu followed the sound.

In the distance, a long-haired monster stood next to a woman, and there was also a small monster, running back and forth around the woman like she was having fun.

Looking at the patterns on the little monster's body, it looked very much like the kitten she had just rescued.

Looking at the scene in front of her, Yu Shu felt that it was very familiar, but she couldn't remember it.

She wanted to see the woman's face clearly, but she couldn't.

Yu Shu frowned, her dark eyes gleaming with confusion. She couldn't help but stand up and walked towards the woman.

But Yu Shu only took a few steps forward, and the woman seemed to have discovered her presence.

They all turned their heads to look at Yu Shu.

Their gazes were like nails, nailing Yu Shu in place, unable to move.

In an instant, the ground beneath Yu Shu's feet suddenly collapsed, and there was the familiar falling feeling again. She fell suddenly, not knowing where she was going to fall.

"Yushu, Yushu."

Ji Jue looked at Yu Shu's suddenly accelerated breathing, frowned slightly, and couldn't help but scream a few times.

After a few breaths, Yu Shu slowly opened her eyes while breathing heavily, her heart beating fast, and the sinking feeling still existed.

She met Ji Jue's worried eyes, closed her eyes, and leaned towards Ji Jue as if seeking a sense of security.

Ji Jueshen put his hand on Yu Shu's forehead, which felt cold.

His eyes were heavy and he asked worriedly, "What's wrong?"

Yu Shu exhaled and curled up slightly. Her voice was slightly hoarse, "I had a nightmare, Master."

"Dream?" Ji Jue was not relieved after getting the answer. There was some doubt in his eyebrows, "What dream scared you like this?"

Yu Shu opened her mouth and was about to speak, but when the words reached her mouth, she turned around again. She paused and said vaguely, "It's nothing, I forgot, Master."

Ji Jue narrowed his eyes, and then slowly continued, "It's okay if you don't remember."

Yu Shu stood up and stroked her forehead to calm down.

Before she had rested for long, 037 jumped into her arms and shouted to find the spiritual grass.

Yu Shu looked a little helpless, but her condition was much better than before.

She hugged 037 and walked towards the direction 037 pointed, "What kind of magical grass is this time?"

I don't know if it was Yu Shu's illusion, but she felt that 037 was heavier than yesterday.

037’s round little black eyes were full of excitement.

[On the tree on the left, host!]

[There are Sanqing fruits on that tree! Hurry up, hurry up! 】

"I'm already fast enough," Yu Shu pushed up her sleeves, revealing two plain white arms climbing up the big tree, struggling to climb up.

Seeing that there was still a little distance, 037 couldn't help but jump on Yu Shu's head, stepped on Yu Shu's head, jumped up hard, and reached the tree first.

"037!" Yu Shu gritted her teeth and shouted, her eyes filled with traces of anger.

She grabbed a branch, climbed up using her hands and feet, sat on the branch, and took a long breath.

And 037 had already jumped into the pile of leaves to pick fruits.

Yu Shu leaned against the big tree, frowning slightly, and kept fanning the wind with her hands.

There was a lot of noise not far under the tree, which immediately attracted Yu Shu's attention.

She looked over there and saw a bunch of monks wearing the same uniforms gathered around, laughing and having fun.

Yu Shu knew the wrong sect. She looked at the uniform and couldn't remember which sect it was.

Suddenly, a little white fox ran out from the crowd.

But in the next second, a long sword penetrated the little fox's abdomen, directly pinning it in place.

"grumble--"

A shrill cry suddenly rang out, and a pool of blood instantly oozed out from under the little fox.

Yu Shu straightened up reflexively, her face immediately changed, her eyes widened, and her heart trembled uncontrollably.

She looked stunned and murmured, "Is this the Wuya Sect?"

037 held the fruit in his mouth and walked gracefully. He threw the fruit into Yu Shu's arms with a satisfied face, as if he had eaten and drank enough.

Seeing Yu Shu's expression, 037 followed Yu Shu's gaze and looked down.

Seeing the tragic scene below, 037 narrowed his eyes.

[Tsk, that little fox hasn’t even opened his spiritual wisdom yet. What a sin.]

037 glanced at Yu Shu's clenched fists and reminded faintly.

[Host, you have offended many sects in the past few days since you entered the Secret Realm of Acquaintance Wood. 】

Yu Shu's body stiffened for a moment, her eyes flickered, and she pursed her lips, "That's right, it's better to do less than to do more."

Below, the monks of Wuya Sect were laughing happily.

"Skin off this little fox and go claim credit from Master!"

Ever since their master's beloved disciple was killed by the fox demon, Wuya Sect has an unwritten rule.

A fox skin is exchanged for a bottle of elixir.

Pills are so precious to monks from small sects like them. Even the most common pills cost them a lot of spiritual stones.

"It's my turn this time, right?" said a slightly fat man next to him.

The four people looked at each other, and an undercurrent began to surge between them.

The four of them were in a stalemate, no one wanted to give away the benefits they had gained.

Suddenly, a cold voice sounded from behind them.

"I've heard about Wuya Sect's reputation for a long time, so I came here to ask for advice."
