In Fengtian, when it comes to the Marshal's Mansion, not many people don't know about it!
The story begins in 1911!
In 1911, Marshal Zhang served as the commander of the Fengtianqian Road Patrol Battalion and was stationed in Taonan Prefecture. On October 10 of the same year, the Revolution of 1911 broke out in Wuhan.
At this time in Fengtian, the revolutionaries, under the leadership of Zhang Rong and others, were also brewing an armed uprising.
After receiving the message from the insider, Marshal Zhang led his troops to Fengtian on a starry night on the 26th to "come to the rescue" for Zhao Erxun.
After arriving in Fengtian, Marshal Zhang led his troops to live in Laishengdian in the south of Fengtian City and then started a series of actions: forcing Lan Tianwei away and planning to kill Zhang Rong.
Following the blood of revolutionaries, Marshal Zhang entered Fengtian and became deputy military and political minister of the Security Council, commander of the 24th Town, and "minister of military training outside the customs", and took control of Fengtian's military power.
In September 1912, the thief Yuan Shikai appointed Marshal Zhang as Lieutenant General Commander of the 27th Army Division. Then Marshal Zhang began to settle his family and buy properties in Fengtian. He first rented a Taoist platform on Tongtian Street in Dayanmenli
Ronghou lived in an old house. By the end of 1913, he simply bought Ronghou's old house and at the same time bought the Jiangzhe Guild Hall on the west side.
In the summer of 1914, Zhang Dashuai demolished all these two old residences and began to build the Marshal's Mansion on the original site.
The newly built courtyards are a three-entry quadrangle and two sets of quadrangles in the north of the west courtyard. The three-entry quadrangle was built by absorbing the characteristics of the Qing Dynasty palace buildings in Fengtian City and following the living customs of Zhang Dashuai's hometown in southern Liaoning.
This three-in-one courtyard was basically completed in the autumn of 1915, and the indoor and outdoor decorations were carried out. It was not until the autumn of 1916 that the family moved into the courtyard.
In total, it took three years from construction to move-in, which is quite a lot of work.
When this three-in-one courtyard was built, Marshal Zhang had been promoted to the governor of Fengtian and the governor of Fengtian. By this time, people began to call Zhang "marshal" because at that time, Chinese officials called the governors of each province "marshal".
Because this new three-in-one courtyard was both Zhang Zuolin's official residence and a private residence where his family lived, people used to call it the Marshal's Mansion, and later it was called the Marshal's Mansion.
The rubber-tired cart stopped in the first courtyard. There is a hexagonal moon door on the east and west sides. After entering, there is a small courtyard with three wing rooms in each door. The east wing room is the kitchen of the handsome manor.
, there is a well in front of the door, which supplies water for the kitchen and the Shuaifu courtyard. The west wing is the kitchen warehouse and the chef's resting place.
The main thing Shen Wentao brought with him this time was food, so he was sent to the kitchen warehouse to be stored in the warehouse.
More than a dozen large cars crowded the small kitchen courtyard to the point where they couldn't fit anymore, so they queued all the way outside and parked in the first courtyard they entered!
The Japanese military police are busy with military supplies. The workers only move things into the warehouse, then register them one by one, and then have to pay for them!
Because the courtyard is narrow, the registration and warehousing process was very slow. It took a long time to register two large vehicles, and there were still a dozen large vehicles waiting behind.
On the third to last rubber-tyred cart, Luo Xiao pulled the wide-brimmed cloth hat on his head, then jumped off the cart, pretending to move his legs and feet, but actually observing the situation in the yard!
After looking at it for a while, Luo Xiao remembered the feeling of the courtyard in his heart. He was unwilling to stay where he was. He quietly stepped back and touched the second courtyard!
After just two steps, someone suddenly shouted, "Whatever you are doing, stop!"
Luo Xiao's heart moved, and she hurriedly stopped, then waited for the Japanese military policeman to come closer.
After looking Luo Xiao up and down, the Japanese military policeman asked in half-baked Chinese, "What do you do?"
Luo Xiao looked very calm on the surface, nodded towards him and said, "Taijun, I'm in a hurry and need to go to the toilet!"
"Toilet?" The Japanese military policeman heard this and looked left and right. He saw that the door of the toilet at the first entrance into the yard was blocked by a truck. So he thought about it, pointed to the second entrance into the yard, and said,
"Work over there!"
Luo Xiao nodded to him and then walked through the courtyard gate.
Between the first entrance and the second entrance, there is a courtyard wall seven or eight meters high, inlaid with polished brick carvings. In the middle is a large doorway with an openwork hanging flower roof, leading to the second entrance!
Inside the gate is a carved wooden screen that can be opened and closed on both sides. It is usually opened only when distinguished guests arrive, but it has been opened now because Shen Wentao is a friend of the Kwantung Army Commander Honjo Shige. Inukai
Naturally, Jian will be greeted with the most solemn etiquette!
Luo Xiao entered the second courtyard and found many Japanese soldiers standing in the courtyard. They were standing beside the wall and under the door and windows. Every key place was guarded!
Luo Xiao did not dare to linger in the yard, lest the Japanese would become suspicious. He quickly walked towards the toilet and entered the toilet!
Toilets in the north are generally dry toilets, which are dug in a large pit and raised with boards. For more advanced ones, a roof is added to the top to protect it from wind and rain.
The toilet in the Marshal's Mansion naturally has a roof, but there are two windows on the back wall of the toilet.
Luo Xiao listened and made sure there was no one outside the toilet. He quickly rushed to the window, stretched out his hand to push the window open, and then jumped out deftly.
Outside the window is an open space covered with green weeds. A little further away is the courtyard wall. This area seems to be cut off, with no exits on all sides!
Luo Xiaoka looked at it and saw that this was the blind spot of the watchtower on the wall, so he moved forward against the wall.
After walking about ten meters through the cracks in the long and narrow wall, we arrived at the side window of the second courtyard.
Stopping, Luo Xiao looked inside and saw that there was no one here, so he took out the tool, opened the window three times, five times five times two, and then got in!
There was no one in the room, and the door was closed. Judging from the layout, it should be an office. There was a wide desk in the center of the room, and behind the desk was a back chair with stacks of documents placed on it.
There are a pair of Taishi chairs placed in front of the gables on both sides. There is an exquisite hardwood small coffee table sandwiched between the Taishi chairs, with tea sets placed on it!
The layout here is completely in Chinese style, and it seems that Japanese people also like Chinese-style decoration.
Luo Xiao turned around and closed the window, then quietly came to the table, flipped through the documents to see if there was anything useful in them!
The documents placed here are all about the power composition of various warlords in China at that time. Most of them have no practical significance. There are even some hearsay things, such as the legendary Black Mountain Hero, whose name is only heard but whose identity is not seen.
The Kuai Dao Army and so on are of all kinds.
Luo Xiao rummaged through it for a long time and found nothing useful in the end. But just when he was returning the documents to their original positions, he suddenly found a document on the top and was startled!
