Chapter 41

Tong Hua'an and Xuan Jinyan stayed at Prince Xuan's Mansion until after dinner and left for a night's rest. The next day, they left in a carriage with Tong Ke, his wife and Tong Xiaoye.

Xuan Jinmo did not show up, but sent a message saying that he was too busy with work and would go to visit Tong Ke in person when he had time. The soldier who sent the message brought some gifts, some snacks in the capital, and some daily snacks.

Li Xuan Jinyan likes to eat very much.

Xuan Jinyan still seemed to be uncomfortable, but her face looked better. She was sitting in the carriage, wrapped in a bright red cloak with fine fox fur on it. It was snow-white, soft, and warm to protect her neck, making her look even more attractive.

Her skin is like snow, and her eyebrows are like paintings.

Tong Huaan was discussing matters with his parents in the carriage in front. There were only four people in this carriage, Xuan Jinyan, Tong Xiaoye, Aying who took care of Jinyan, and Xiaoye's slave Ahui.

The weather was not very good. It was overcast and windy. The spring wind was strong and the dust was heavier. In front was Wanlong Mountain, which was a bit foggy. It felt vaguely damp and uncomfortable. Tong Xiaoye turned the corner of the car.

curtain, looking outside.

As dusk approached, the group found an inn to rest and prepare to eat something before leaving.

Xuan Jinyan took off her cloak and got out of the carriage. She looked around and saw that Ah Ying was packing things in the carriage and Ah Hui was helping the young mother prepare food. She hesitated and stopped.

"Sister-in-law Jinyan, what's wrong?" Tong Xiaoye happened to be walking side by side with her, so she stopped and asked with a smile. Although Xuan Jinyan rarely talked to her and her expression was indifferent, Tong Xiaoye never cared at all.

Meaning.

Xuan Jinyan hesitated, looked around, and whispered in Tong Xiaoye's ear.

After hearing this, Tong Xiaoye looked around, pointed to the back, and said softly: "It must be at the back. I'll accompany you there. This is just an inn on the road, so you'd better be careful."

Xuan Jinyan nodded. This was her first time traveling far away. The surrounding scenery was very unfamiliar. It was already far away from the capital, a day's journey away. Although there were still flowers and trees, and the mountains and rivers were beautiful, it still looked strange.

After leaving the extremely simple toilet, Xuan Jinyan looked at the back of the inn with some curiosity. There was a sparse forest. Where she could see, there was a little white rabbit nesting on the ground. It was probably injured.

, the body trembled slightly, and his eyes looked pitifully at Xuan Jinyan.

"Sister-in-law Jinyan—" Tong Xiaoye was shocked when she saw Xuan Jinyan walking towards the woods alone, and immediately took a few steps to follow.

Xuan Jinyan just bent down and wanted to check the little white rabbit on the ground, but she felt a tightening on her wrist, her vision went dark, her body seemed to be soaring in the clouds, and she could only hear the sound of wind whizzing past her ears, cold and sharp, and there seemed to be something

Raindrops fell on the face.

Tong Xiaoye looked at the sudden appearance of the men in black and the fast-moving horses. The horses must have been trained, because when these horses appeared, they were completely silent. When the people came and put Xuan Jinyan on the horse's back, the horse unexpectedly

Neither neighing nor struggling.

Just as Tong Xiaoye was about to shout for help, the man on the horse turned back and glanced at her. The man's face was covered with a black cloth, only his eyes were exposed, and his eyes were cold.

Tong Xiaoye's last memory was a low voice saying: "Take her with you."

By the time everyone discovered that Xuan Jinyan and Tong Xiaoye were both missing, they had disappeared for about a cup of tea, and it was impossible to find them again.
