Introduction to the next world of the Olympus pantheon

In ancient Greek mythology, the pantheon with Zeus as its supreme ruler got its name from the fact that it lived on Mount Olympus. This was a highly organized and disciplined huge clan of gods. The gods each performed their own duties and were in charge of the heavens.

Various things. It is a reflection of the society in the patriarchal era, among which the main ones are Hera, the sun god Apollo, the ocean god Poseidon, the female war goddess Athena, the hell god Hades, etc. Also known as Ohlin

Persian pantheon.

1. The first generation of gods: gods of heaven and earth

Any myth must start from the origin of the world and mankind. In ancient Greek mythology, Chaos is the original god.

Through unisexual reproduction, Khaos gives birth to:

Gaia, goddess of the earth

Orebos, God of Darkness

Night goddess Knicks

Eros

Gaia gave birth to the god Uratius and the god Pentheus.

Uratius later married Gaia.

Nyx, the goddess of the night, has:

Thanatos

Hiptus

Nemesis Meneses

Eris, goddess of discord

Kyres, Goddess of Destruction

Moira, goddess of destiny

Orebus, the god of darkness, married Nyx, the goddess of the night, and they had:

space god aeter

Hemera, god of light

Uratius married Gaia and gave birth to twelve Titans.

2. Twelve Titans

1. These twelve Titans included six men and six women, and later formed six couples.

The six male Titans are: Oceanus, the river god

Koos

Creus

Early sun god Hyperion

Iapetus, father of Prometheus

Cronus, the youngest, bravest and most resourceful of the Titans.

Mnemosyne, the personification of memory

Early Moon Goddess Phoebe

Tethys, the earliest sea goddess

2. Because the god Uratius was greedy for power, he threw all the children born by Gaia back into their mother's womb. The earth mother Gaia was deeply dissatisfied with this, so she instigated her youngest son Cronus to castrate his father with a sickle.

.The splashing jing (fluid) impregnated the earth mother Gaia again and gave birth to

The Three Furies Alecto, Tisiphone, and Megara

Giants

3. Since then, the Titan gods have gained freedom, and the four brothers and four sisters among them have also gotten married and had children.

Theia and Hyperion gave birth to: Helius, the sun god, Selene, the moon god, and Eos, the dawn goddess.

Phoebe and Coos, gave birth to the goddesses Leto and Astraea

Oceanus and Tethys gave birth to 3000 rivers and 3000 little Poseidons

Cronus and Rhea gave birth to three daughters: Hestia, Demeter and Hera

Three sons: Hades, Poseidon and Zeus

3. Zeus seizes power

1. Overthrow of Kronos

Cronus was even more tyrannical than his father. In order to keep the throne, he would devour the children whenever they were born. When the youngest child Zeus was born, Rhea designed to deceive her husband and successfully gave birth to him.

And gave them to the White Oak Fairy to raise. When Zeus grew up, he and his mother used emetics to make his father vomit out the five brothers and sisters he had swallowed.

Zeus united with five of the twelve original Titans, and with the help of the Cyclops and the Hundred-Handed Giant, after ten years of fierce fighting, they finally overthrew the rule of Cronus and established Zeus's dominance.

2. God of Olympus

Under the rule of Zeus, Olympus quickly established a team of gods. They were:

Among the gods of Olympus, Poseidon, Hera, and Demeter are the brothers and sisters of Zeus, while Ares (born of Hera),

Athena (born Metis), Artemis and Apollo (born Maia), Dionysus (born Semele)

She is his child. It can truly be regarded as a family ruling.
