Chapter 60 The Newborn in the Fire

Taking advantage of the heavy rain and steam to obscure the sight of the reconnaissance satellite, the six people continued to move north.

Shortly after dark, they arrived at a farm 45 kilometers away from the southern Belarusian city of Mozyr. They walked around a hill and lit a dim porch light on an inaccessible hillside.

Exhausted people climbed up the hillside and opened the wooden gate. A dog barked wildly until the hostess who came out of the wooden house drank it to stop.

"Good evening, Taylan." Barr waved and said hello in Russian.

"Good evening, Bishnoi." The hostess returned the greeting warmly and welcomed her out.

In the dim starlight and weak lights, Gu Tie was shocked by the beauty of the hostess. The tall woman in a long skirt had dazzling golden curly hair, a tall nose, a pointed chin, and large, clear brown eyes.

The loose skirt can't cover the devilish figure with bulging front and back.

The standard woman of the Yugoslavs. The perfect earthly woman. Gu Tie quickly took two steps forward and took the hostess's hand: "Taylan... Taylan, have I seen you somewhere?"

The hostess smiled, showing her white teeth: "I believe not, Mr. Tie. When you were fighting on the battlefield in Africa, I was still a child."

Gu Tie walked around her boredly and walked into the room: "It's boring. I thought you were a simple peasant woman, but it turns out you are Shiva's intelligence agent."

A group of people walked into the wooden house of the farm and collapsed on the wooden floor.

The decoration in the house is very simple, with a dining table, chairs and bed made of logs, wood is burning in the fireplace, and the aroma of red cabbage soup comes from the soup pot.

"This is Shiva's safe house in Belarus. This lady is Miss Natalia Taylan. This is Mr. Gu Tie, my closest comrade-in-arms and worst brother." Barr was lying in front of the fireplace, weak.

He introduced the two of them.

"Hello." Gu Tie lay there and raised a hand to express "nice to meet you."

The hostess spread the floral tablecloth on the dining table and started to work on the dinner. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Iron." She took the time to reply, "Bishnoi, you came two hours later than expected."

"Tch, his plan is bullshit. He has no intention of escaping from Ukraine alive...Natalia, what's your relationship with him?" Gu Tie spat and asked.

"What?" The hostess turned to look at the leader of Shiva.

"He told me about his plan to retreat to Belarus, and he must have told you the same thing, but in fact he wanted to be a martyr for the IPU's righteousness. He had no detailed plan to escape to Belarus at all. Tell me, old man.

"Also, I guess you two had an affair before, right, Natalia?" Gu Tie weakly scolded his comrades in English.

"What?" Amber turned to look at the leader of Shiva.

"I guess...it's just a guess. Don't be angry if you guess wrong.

Natalia, you were originally a simple and lovely girl from Minsk who was abducted by an Indian playboy, but the Indians were worried about putting you on the front line of the battle and arranged for you to stay alone in an empty house in the far south of Belarus. This time you went to Chernobyl

What a nonsense. You must have left some nonsense in advance like, 'Wait for me until eight o'clock in the evening. If I don't come, destroy all the information, use your savings to live out your life peacefully, and marry a good man.'

In this way, if he unfortunately dies, he will treat it as if he died in love with his new love Amber; if he survives, you two will not reveal your true feelings in front of your comrades, leaving it to the future to have a little separation rather than a new marriage. Am I right?

?”

"What?" The two women stared at the Shiva leader together.

"Ask me how you guessed it? It's very simple. When we met, Natalia, you neither called me 'leader' like the others, nor did you call him by his first name like me, but called him Your surname is used without honorifics; similarly, Lao Ba also calls you by your last name without using honorifics. In my experience, this is a significant sign of adultery.

Do you need more evidence? Natalia, when you waved, your eyes did not scan all the visitors, but stared at Mr. Ba’s thin face; when Mr. Ba, when you waved, your fingers were not stretched out in a natural posture, but your fingers were curled and stretched. Towards the palm, this is a 'grab, possess' gesture, indicating that the object you are waving to is psychologically yours. Is that enough? I also observed..." Gu Tie kept talking, not noticing that the room was full of people. The atmosphere is already tense.

Balvendra pretended to be asleep, blowing peaceful breaths from his nostrils. The two women stood on his left and right sides, looking at each other with sparks of electricity igniting in their eyes.

"Uh...where's Aunt Sula?" Gu Tie suddenly remembered and asked.

"Outside. Bury Professor Tariq." Timpani replied.

The room fell silent.

"I want to go out and take a look." Barr opened his eyes, tried to get up, and walked out of the house with heavy steps.

Sniper Joe was lying on the bed, sleeping deeply. Timpani wiped his face with a white towel, looked at each other with Gu Tie, and sighed.

The women put aside their disputes for the time being.

Natalya has a pair of skillful hands and quickly brings a wealth of food to the table, piping hot beetroot soup, roasted baby potatoes, sheep's milk cheese, bacon, sausages, fennel stewed lamb, grilled assorted vegetables, cold lettuce and home-made beer Kvass sparkling wine. When the bread and salt were placed on the table, Aunt Sula and Baer hadn't come back yet. Gu Tie sat up tiredly: "I'll go out and take a look."

The cold autumn night in Belarus entered the water. Not far from the hillside, two figures were standing or sitting. Gu Tie shuffled over and saw Aunt Sula standing next to the newly piled tombs reading a condolence, and Baal sitting on the ground. He hugged his knees and wondered what he was thinking. Gu Tie walked over and patted his father on the shoulder, saying nothing.

"I thought I wasn't afraid of death." Barr said in a low voice, "Death is the entrance to another reincarnation. The body is a tool for the soul to cling to. After death, the soul leaves the body and the body becomes an unimportant skin.

According to religious teachings, I should cremate Uncle Tariq's body, but I cannot make this decision.

We spend our lives pursuing the highest state of unity between Brahman and self, transcending the pain of death, and releasing the reincarnation of souls. However, when faced with the death of others, I cannot let go of my inner demons. I cannot regard this corpse as a lifeless skin. This is my My clan uncle, the venerable Professor Tariq, my eternal mentor and guide. I killed him, and ironically, I am still alive."

"It is better to be alive than to be dead. Instead of pursuing the transcendence and liberation of nothingness, it is better to drink one more glass of wine, fall in love one more time, have one more dream, and smell the fragrance of the flowers outside the window one more time." Gu Tie looked at the hazy starlight.

"I know. I... just can't think about it for the moment." Barr sighed.

"Let's go, I'm waiting for you to have dinner." Gu Tie stretched out his hand. Barr hesitated, took his hand, stood up, and the two walked side by side towards the wooden house.

"Moreover, you have a very difficult problem to face. What is a problem more difficult than survival and death?" Gu Tie asked.

"Of course it's love." Barr smiled bitterly.

"Even I can't understand something, so of course you're even more confused, haha! I can't save you." Gu Tie smiled and patted Barr on the head.

Pushing the door open and entering the house, they were enveloped by warm air and the aroma of food. People were sitting at the table chatting. Joe woke up, drank some hot soup, and his face turned red.

After Barr, Gu Tie, and Aunt Sula sat down, Natalia filled everyone with sweet kvass.

Barr raised his glass, "To Professor Tariq, the comrades who were martyred in Operation Kadavaro, and all the heroes who lost their lives in the war against the GTC hegemony. Their spirits in heaven bless 'Shiva' to march forward bravely. Tomorrow

, we leave Belarus to receive the glorious results of Kadavaro, the world will remember the name of 'Shiva', cheers!"

"cheers!"
